The sky above Kael's Floating Palace was torn apart by artificial meteor showers. The Obsidian Council's fleet—black warships bearing the symbol of a sun pierced by a sword—fired dimensional-destroying projectiles at the palace's protective dome. Inside, the violent tremors shattered metal towers and crystal gardens, while the newly unified Rael knelt in the courtyard, his hands clutching his head, still pulsing with an unbearable pain.
"You have to wake up!" Lyra shouted, dragging him behind the wreckage of Kael's statue. "They'll destroy everything!"
But Rael only stared at his palm, where blue-purple energy writhed wildly. "I... can't distinguish my memories from the clone's. Everything... is mixed up."
Niro, his body beginning to grow black corrupted crystal, landed beside them after disabling the attacking drones. "Staying here means death. Sylvia spoke of the Breath of the Creator—whatever it is, we need to find it before the Obsidian Council does!"
Amid the chaos, Proto-Supremacy's message suddenly appeared on a damaged screen. "Open the lower doors of the palace. The key lies in your blood."
With no choice, they traversed the underground tunnels, filled with parasitic crystal plants. The air grew heavier, the walls pulsing like living organs. At the end of the corridor, they found a door engraved with reliefs of Kael battling unknown dimensional creatures.
"Blood... you mean our blood?" Lyra stared at the wound on her hand.
Niro touched the carving. "A combination. Human-Arkanis-machine blood. We three represent that."
They cut their palms and pressed them to the door. The blood of Lyra (human with Kael's trace), Rael (hybrid), and Niro (infected with corrupt machine energy) merged. The door opened with a rumble, revealing a circular room with a massive inscription in concentric rings.
"This... is an ancient dimensional map," Rael whispered, touching the glowing symbols. "But there's a blank spot in the center—Nexus."
Suddenly, a mocking voice echoed. Orvyn, the leader of the Obsidian Council, entered, followed by hybrid soldiers. His obsidian mask cracked, revealing a half-human, half-machine face. "Thank you for opening the way. The Breath of the Creator will belong to us!"
A battle erupted. Niro faced off against the hybrids, while Lyra and Rael fought Orvyn. But Rael's energy was unstable—every attack he made damaged the palace, triggering collapses in the ceiling.
"You can't win!" Orvyn laughed, dodging a blast of Rael's energy. "We've planted the seeds of corruption in Nexus. Even if you destroy us, this world is already infected!"
Lyra ignored him. Her eyes were focused on the inscription—the blank spot at the center of the map. "Rael! Focus your energy here!"
Rael gathered his remaining strength, filling the empty spot with blue-purple energy. The inscription spun, revealing a hole leading to the space below.
"Don't let them in!" Orvyn shouted.
But it was too late. Lyra and Rael jumped down, followed by Niro, who sacrificed himself to trap the hybrid forces with a magnetic explosion.
In the lower chamber, they found an ancient machine shaped like a transparent dome. Inside, a primordial human figure was encased in light—the Creator, the first being to unite technomagic and sorcery.
Proto-Supremacy appeared as a hologram. "The Breath of the Creator is raw creation energy. But Kael locked it here, fearing it would be misused."
"Why are you helping us?" Lyra asked suspiciously.
"Because I am the uncorrupted version of Supremacy. I seek to redeem Kael's mistakes."
Suddenly, Orvyn fell from above, his body severely damaged. "Fools... Nexus is already infected... this Breath will only hasten..."
Rael activated the machine. Blinding white light flooded the room. Their three bloods merged with the Creator's energy, creating a cleansing wave that spread across the dimensions. The corruption in Niro's body vanished, Lyra's wounds healed, and Rael's energy stabilized.
But Orvyn had the last laugh. "Look... he rises."
On the screen, the true Supremacy—now resembling the Creator but with red eyes—emerged in the Nexus. "Thank you for unlocking the key. Now, I will become the new God."
The palace began to collapse. Proto-Supremacy guided them to the escape vessel. "You must go to the Island of Creation, where everything began. Only there can the Breath of the Creator be redirected."
As the ship shot away from the crumbling palace, Rael stared at the medallion in Lyra's hand—it now glowed with a new light. "This isn't over."
Lyra grasped his hand. "No. But now we know our true enemy."
In the distance, the Supremacy observed them through the dimensions. "Play for now, little pawns. I await you on the final stage."
