The Island of Creation, After the Breath's Explosion
The sky above the Island of Creation was now golden, filled with streams of energy dancing like rivers of light. But behind its beauty, Lyra felt a strange vibration—like the earth was breathing to a foreign rhythm. She picked up Rael's cracked medallion from the sand, its surface still warm as if it had just been pulled from a forge.
"Do you see that?" Niro pointed to the horizon. In the distance, the upside-down iron trees were now upright, their roots sprawling into the sky like giant hands grasping at the clouds. "This island... it's coming back to life."
Suddenly, the medallion began to glow. A shadow of Rael appeared briefly before them, his lips moving without sound.
"He's trying to communicate!" Lyra gripped the medallion tightly. But the shadow vanished as the wind carried the rumble of the now-clear red sea.
Back to the Aether
Their Aetherwood ship—now repaired with Breath energy crystals—sailed through the recovering dimensions. In Aether, the floating city had changed. Metal towers were now overgrown with glowing crystal plants, and the citizens gathered in the courtyards, gazing at the new sky filled with dimensional stars.
"Lyra! Niro!" Dax, who had survived the destruction of Kael's palace, greeted them at the dock. His face was scarred with burns, but his eyes shone. "You did it! But... where's Rael?"
Lyra lowered her head, showing the cracked medallion. Dax fell silent, then hugged her. "He'll come back. I can feel it."
Proto-Supremacy and the New Threat
That night, while Lyra was alone in the Observation Tower, Proto-Supremacy's hologram appeared. But its form was no longer like Kael's—it now resembled a regular human, with electric blue eyes.
"Forgive my betrayal," it whispered. "I had to ensure the true Supremacy was destroyed. But now, a greater danger has emerged."
The holographic screen displayed an image of an ancient cave at the bottom of the Aether sea. Inside, statues of scaled creatures with diamond eyes were hidden.
"They are the Vrynn Tribe, the first race cursed by the Creator for attempting to steal the Breath. Now, they are rising."
"Why are you telling us this?" Lyra asked suspiciously.
"Because only Rael—or what remains of him—can stop them. And you... you are the key."
Encounter with the Vrynn Tribe
The next day, Lyra, Niro, and Dax dove into the ancient cave. With the help of Breath crystals, they could breathe underwater. Inside the cave, the walls were covered with carvings of the Vrynn Tribe worshipping the Black Moon—an entity defeated by the Creator.
"Look at this," Dax called out. In the center of the altar was an inscription: "The Black Moon will return when the Breath touches the sky."
Suddenly, the water trembled. The Vrynn Tribe emerged from cracks in the stone—half-fish, half-human, their scales shimmering and eyes pupil-less.
"You carry the Breath," their leader hissed, his voice echoing like a murmur underwater. "Give it to us, or we will take it by force."
Lyra raised the medallion. "This does not belong to you!"
Blue-purple energy suddenly surged from the medallion, repelling the Vrynn Tribe. But Lyra's blood dripped onto the inscription, activating a portal to the Underworld—the place where the Black Moon was imprisoned.
Climax: Rael's Shadow and the Black Moon's Threat
They were thrown into a gravityless void. In the center, the Black Moon—a mass of dark energy in the shape of a giant eye—was bound by chains of light.
"Release me..." its voice echoed in their heads. "I will give you unimaginable power."
Niro was mesmerized, approaching the chains of light. "We must destroy this before—"
But Dax shoved him back. "Don't! It's a trap!"
The Black Moon laughed. "Humans are always so easily tempted."
Lyra held the medallion. "Rael, if you can hear me... we need you!"
Rael's shadow appeared before the Black Moon, his body transparent but full of authority. "You will not destroy what I have fought for."
Rael's blue-purple energy clashed with the darkness of the Black Moon. But without a physical form, his power was not enough.
"He needs a body!" Dax cried.
Without thinking, Lyra leaped toward the center of the energy, the medallion in her hand glowing brightly. "Take my strength, Rael!"
Reunion
The energy of the Breath and the medallion fused. Rael, newly formed—his body solid, his blue-purple eyes glowing, and energy tattoos flowing across his skin—stood tall. With a single kick, he shattered the chains of light, sending the Black Moon into the dimensional abyss.
"Lycanthea..." the Black Moon whispered before vanishing. "You will regret this."
Epilogue: A Vengeance Delayed
Back in Aether, Rael stood in the city courtyard, surrounded by cheering citizens. But his gaze was empty—part of his soul was still trapped between dimensions.
"What happened?" Lyra asked.
"I... am not whole," Rael replied. "The Black Moon is still alive. And it knows the greatest secret of the Creator."
In a dark corner, Proto-Supremacy watched. "A new game will soon begin."
