After I composed myself, I turned to look at the rest of the Royal Family . Next to the princes stood a younger boy around the age of Leona; I assumed this was the Crown Prince. He was handsome enough and wore similar robes to his sister, but his were white and green . His hair was cut short, and on his head was a bold circlet. The Queen was an older version of her daughter, but her hair was silvery blonde and her eyes were bright oceanic blue. The King was a regal-looking man with long, straight hair. He had only one eye; the other eye was covered by a green and gold eyepatch. He wore a crown; it was beautiful; I couldn't even describe it. He had a neat goatee and wore regal all-gold robes with green designs. While I was observing the royal family, we were already at the steps to the throne. We all bowed as the herald announced, "His Majesty King Vazeiros Eldar, His Queen Daeyra Elmwalker, and their children, Crown Prince Leoxalim Eldar and Princess Galadriel Eldar."
After all the pleasantries were over, Leona and Leoxalim left to get to know each other. Leona looked smitten. I couldn't catch the Crown Prince's expression as they left quickly. I chuckled softly and muttered to Dion, "If he hurts her, I'm going to kill him." With a smile, I noticed Dion paling. I ignored the scared man, and just as I was about to walk over to Aegor, who was talking to one of his men, the king approached me. "Lord Lightsekker, can we talk?" he spoke in a deep, graceful voice. I nodded, and we walked to the balcony that was connected to the throne room. We both sat in two armchairs that were facing each other. in the middle was a circular gold table with ebony wood
The King spoke first. "I'm glad that we have another Lightsekker beside myself, my mother , and my children . The Lightsekker house would die out since I can't have any more children. My son is betrothed to Princess Leona, as you know, and my daughter seems to have no interest in any suitor. So, I ask you to bring the Lightsekker back. We will need you and your house in the future. As you know, we elves, humans, and dwarves are in alliance against a common enemy-the skeleton army. You may not know this, but a group of necromancers called the Evil Ones is behind it. Their leader is an ancient demon who survived the battle with your ancestor, Atreus. He wants to kill all other races and use the blood and souls to open the gates to the demon realm, allowing his armies of demons to invade the world and take it over." I was shocked. I knew about the alliance, but this was much bigger than I imagined. It looks like, in the middle of all this, the demon will probably recognize the bow on my back. I should be scared- really, I should- but I'm not . Quite the opposite; I feel excited. Back on Earth, my life was peaceful but boring. The only things that kept me occupied were anime, video games, and TV shows. Movies, too. This is a welcome change. I nodded at the king. "As you wish, my king." The king smirked and spoke, "No need for that, my bow. We are family." I smirked back. "So, you wouldn't mind us courting your daughter?" I asked, preparing to bolt out of here. The King smirked at Freazez before he smirked wider. "I don't mind," he said, surprising me, "but if you hurt her , you're in big trouble." Boy shivered slightly but smirked. "Wouldn't dream of it." He regarded me with a critical eye and nodded. "Don't disappoint me, boy," he warned. "I won't," I said back. We talked for a while. He asked about the sword I had, and I told him how I got it. He was surprised that Castle One belonged to the Dawnshire Kingdom, but they rebelled, thinking they could take over the kingdom. The whole family was killed, and the sword was thought to be lost. It was a really quality sword. I was surprised and asked him, "Do you want it?" He was surprised but refused. So, I found a solution: I will give it to his son, which he agreed to. I didn't want the sword; it was not for me, and it didn't feel right in my hands. Is there a good blacksmith here in the capital? He stroked his goatee. "I will go with you; I need to get out of the castle," he muttered. Does Lightsekker House have a castle or some lands? I asked. He nodded yes. I'm surprised you didn't notice it ; it's left to the castle. Maybe your sight was broken by the tree close to it . Its castle. We continued talking about things. We talked for two hours before the princess entered with graceful steps. She smiled gracefully at her father before giving me a smirk . She so was gorgeous. The king excused himself, giving his daughter a wink . She blushed slightly before approaching, sitting in the chair opposite me.
