Chapter 26 - Chapter 10: Rare Tickets

'Fuck, I thought these people were a bunch of assholes who didn't care that I died like that shitty goddess nearby who laughed at my death. Fairytale Animal seems to be a nice guy or do I call him a donkey? Whatever he is, at least he showed he cared about me dying.' I grumbled a little before steeling myself to face the chat.

[Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality]: Yes people, I'm still here kinda. I mean I did die, but now I'm being offered the chance to go to another world by this useless goddess in front of me.

[Fairytale Animal]: OH MY GOD HE'S ALIVE. @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality) Nice to still see you here, goodnight y'all, I got to go for the night.

[Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality]: Thanks for caring about me donkey guy, see ya later.

[Deathly Justice]: Ask her what she knows about Shinigami.

[Night Sidekick]: Ask her if she knows anything about the system as a test. Show her the phone, and ask if she can recognize it. In my experience, no one can see or touch the phone unless you let them. Even if they can see the phone it will always remain blank since they can't see the system, items from the system can be seen.

[(Orange Moons & Golden Lakes)]: You called her a useless goddess, she's probably stupid as well. Try to milk her for all the information you can get. @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality) Tell me everything you find out, and I'll even forge you a sword for your new adventure in this new world.

[Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality]: You got yourself a deal Orange Moon, throw in a custom set of armor for me, and I'll personally tell you everything once I unlock the DM function with my points.

[Night Sidekick]: You can temporarily use the photo and stream function of the group chat even if you haven't unlocked it yet. @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality) You just can't post them if you don't have it unlocked. Record your experience right now, and show me the videos once we both unlock the necessary system functions. I'll buy them from you when I unlock the features as well.

[Deathly Justice]: I'll buy them as well for anything you may need. @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality)

[Sea Devil Child]: I'll buy them for knowledge of my world's training system as Gold called it.

[Gold Blood Cultivator]: Gods, information on the divine is truly valuable. I'll give you the Body Forging technique @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality), the technique allows you to fully train your body to shatter tall trees with your fists, and large boulders alike.

[Magical Ms. KnowItAll]: My professor is offering a few Phoenix feathers, and magic training textbooks from year 1 to 5 in my school. @(Thieving Scumbag Of Gender Equality)

[Island Devil]: The gods have never been my friends, because we were born we were called devils. Keep your knowledge of those slaving gods. Humans should remain free from any influence of those damned gods.

[Island Devil]: A world with gods isn't a world for humanity. Gods are a parasite on humanity who limit the potential, and freedom of all who lay beneath them. With a god above you with absolute control, your freedom is merely a temporary privilege they give away, those privileges can be taken away at any time.

Kazuma saw some interesting points and conclusions made by (Island Devil) and the others who responded to him. (Deathly Justice), (Night (Sidekick) were the main ones leading the debate between the three of them on the nature of freedom with gods being around. They eventually go into deeper topics he didn't understand, but his main focus was on their promises of rewards for his experiences.

'Why is everyone so excited for that useless goddess? Might as well sell the useless information from this scummy goddess who keeps trying to rush me. I'll turn on my stream function after I use those two rare tickets.'

I gave into the temptation due to the rewards (Fairytale Animal) the guy described to me and everyone saying they got good rewards from the gacha ticket. I still had the sense to save the obviously more valuable supreme ticket in hopes of getting more in the future for my plans.

*[Ding!]*

>[Gacha]<

[You have selected the Gacha feature. How many tickets will you use today.]

I selected both rare tickets, and then I used them both at once, saving the supreme ticket for later. I selected to use 1 rare ticket in the system mechanics prize pool, and one in the all items prize pool. Selecting any items from my home universe seemed foolish to me.

The donkey guy talked about seeing three possible prizes after you used the ticket. He said you got to pick and choose which prize you wanted out of the three possible rewards. However, my rare ticket only let me select the categories I wanted like everyone else, but my prize pool only showed one possible reward from each ticket.

*[Ding!]*

*[Ding!]*

[You have won 1 System Contract.]

[You have won 1 Random Low-Grade Item Transformer.]

If I was shown three items all at once I may have been shown an even better choice. Beggars can't be choosers, since I'm clearly abusing the fact I can still use the gacha system without paying for it. Everyone in the chat lost access to the gacha system the moment they spent that supreme ticket. They are all locked behind a paywall. I heard the donkey guy complaining in chat about him winning an uncommon ticket from a quest, but he can't use it till he unlocks the gacha.

Now what the hell is a system contract, let's see what its item description is about for both items.

*[Ding!]*

*[Ding!]*

[Item: System Contract Level 1]: Can set up a meeting with the system algorithm. You can suggest any sort of contract involving yourself, or things involving the Group Chat System. Has a very limited freedom in what you can and can't do. If the contract doesn't benefit the system algorithm more than yourself, the item will fail and disappear.

[Item: Random Low-Grade Item Transformer]: Randomly copies all the attributes of any item nearby in a 1-meter radius. The item will only transform into the items that are technically yours nearby. It is a perfect copy that does everything the original is capable of. Items stronger than the transformer can't be copied. The changes made to the item are permanent and can't be reversed.

The item transformer is busted as hell. The system contract seems like a late-stage item in games. Where you get to talk to the developers to suggest new features to the gaming experience.

Can't use the contract for now. I'll keep it in the system space since this cheap-ass system paid walled the fucking inventory space behind the gacha win possibilities under the system mechanics prize pool. No matter how many fucking points you earn you need to fucking use the gacha to unlock those fucking features.

At least the camera, pictures, streaming, notepad, and other normal phone apps can be unlocked with system points.

I need to confirm something with the blue thing before I use the item transformer. She's been nagging me the entire time to hurry up. After I use the item I'll turn on the recording function to ask her everything the chat wants before leaving this place.

"Goddess, I just wanna confirm something before I choose my fucking item. Are all these papers just the talents, skills, and cheat items I can get if I choose them." I asked, trying to control his anger.

"No matter what you choose, Sato Kazuma, you'll still be a NEET in your next life in the other world," Aqua replied pointing out his critical weakness.

I had a panicked expression before slamming my hands down to the ground, sending a few of the papers flying into the air.

"I'll have you know I died outside my house, unlike those other guys." My excuses were running dry before the goddess before me who had a general understanding of all who lay in her realm.

"Say whatever you want, you NEET. Yes, answering your question, anything that exists here is technically yours till the moment you choose one to permanently bring to the other world." Aqua answered my question casually while eating a bag of potato chips.

'Fucking bitch thinks just because she's a little hot she can boss me around like a bitch for no reason. I'll show her who she shouldn't mess with later. First things first I need to collect all those papers into a one-meter radius then use my item to see which one I win.'

*[Ding!]*

[(Item: Random Low-Grade Item Transformer) Has been used, and effects are now activating.]

[Item: Paper Talent Holder ]: A piece of paper containing the talent of having an automatically expanding mana pool. You must rip the paper in half to get access to the talent permanently. All spare mana you're not using goes into permanently expanding your mana pool with your unused mana from your passive mana regeneration. Your mana pool is now stored in your soul due to your talent instead of your body.
