Chapter 4 - THE COFFEE STORE

It was a typical Monday morning at the cozy coffee store, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air. Sapphire, dressed in a stylish outfit, sat at the front seat, sipping on her favorite latte. Her loyal maid, Stephanie, sat at the back, keeping a discreet eye on her.

As Sapphire gazed out the window, a girl with a bright smile approached her. "Hi, mind if I join you?" she asked, nodding towards the empty chair across from Sapphire.

Sapphire smiled warmly and gestured for the girl to sit down. "Not at all, please do."

The girl introduced herself as Emma, and they exchanged pleasantries, discussing everything from the weather to their favorite books. As they chatted, Sapphire found herself feeling drawn to Emma's warm and bubbly personality.

As their conversation flowed, Emma mentioned that her brother owned a famous phone brand. Sapphire's eyes widened in surprise, and Emma continued, "Yeah, he's really successful, but he's also super shy and always busy with work. He doesn't really have many friends, aside from his childhood friends, and some of them have drifted apart over the years."

Sapphire's expression turned sympathetic. "That's too bad. It can be tough to make friends as an adult, especially when you're busy with work."

Emma nodded vigorously. "Exactly! And that's why I'm looking for friends for him. I want him to have real friends, people who genuinely care about him, so he won't feel lonely on his birthday."

Sapphire's curiosity was piqued. "His birthday is coming up?"

Emma nodded. "Yeah, it's in three months. And I want to surprise him with some new friends. But I have to keep it a secret, because he has no idea I'm doing this."

Sapphire smiled, impressed by Emma's thoughtfulness. "That's really sweet of you. I'm sure your brother will appreciate it."

As they continued to chat, Sapphire found herself feeling more and more drawn to Emma's brother, despite having never met him. There was something about Emma's description of him that resonated with her – his shyness, his kindness, and his dedication to his work.

As they finished their drinks and prepared to part ways, Emma turned to Sapphire with a hopeful expression. "Would you like to meet my brother? I think you two would really hit it off."

Sapphire's heart skipped a beat as she considered Emma's question. She hadn't been looking for new friends, but there was something about Emma's brother that intrigued her. And besides, it would be nice to have someone to talk to, someone who understood her.

"I'd love to meet him," Sapphire said finally, smiling at Emma.

Emma's face lit up with excitement. "Really? Oh, thank you so much! I'll arrange for you two to meet soon."

As they exchanged numbers and said their goodbyes, Sapphire couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. She had no idea what the future held, but she was eager to find out.

As Emma and Sapphire parted ways, Emma couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and hope. She had been searching for the perfect person to introduce to her brother, and she couldn't help but think that Sapphire was the one.

As they said their goodbyes, Emma asked Sapphire when she would come to the coffee shop again. Sapphire smiled and replied, "I'll be back tomorrow at 6 pm."

Emma's face lit up with a smile. "I'll make sure to be there. And Sapphire, I'm so glad we met. I think we're going to be great friends."

Sapphire smiled and nodded in agreement. As she walked home, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. She had no idea what the future held, but she was eager to find out.

As soon as she got home, Sapphire turned to Stephanie and asked, "How did you know about that coffee shop? It's such a quaint little place."

Stephanie smiled and replied, "The owner of that coffee shop is my dad's friend. He's a great guy, and he's always looking out for me."

Sapphire's eyes widened in surprise. "Wow, you have so many connections. Why did you choose to be a maid?"

Stephanie's expression turned wistful. "I've always dreamed of being part of the royal family. I wanted to learn the behavior and etiquette of the royal ones, so I thought I'd grow up here and learn from the best. Plus, I've always wanted to marry a prince or an aspiring king."

Sapphire's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Oh my goodness, that's so romantic! I can just imagine it now - you, marrying a handsome prince and living happily ever after."

Stephanie laughed and playfully rolled her eyes. "You're such a dreamer, Sapphire. But I have to say, I'm a little excited for you. You're going to meet Emma's brother tomorrow, and who knows, maybe he'll be the one."

Sapphire's face lit up with a smile. "I know, I'm so excited! I keep imagining what he'll be like - tall, dark, and handsome, with piercing blue eyes and a charming smile."

Stephanie chuckled. "You're certainly painting a vivid picture, Sapphire. But remember, it's not just about looks - it's about personality and character too."

Sapphire nodded, taking Stephanie's words to heart. She couldn't wait to meet Emma's brother and see if he was the one. As she drifted off to sleep that night, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Tomorrow was going to be a big day.

Sapphire turned to Stephanie with a determined look on her face. "Stephanie, I need your help. I want to make a good impression on Emma's brother tomorrow, and I was thinking it would be helpful to have some conversation topics ready to go."

Stephanie nodded enthusiastically. "That's a great idea, Sapphire! I'd be happy to help you come up with some topics. What do you want to talk about?"

Sapphire thought for a moment. "I don't know... something interesting, I guess. Something that will make him think I'm smart and funny."

Stephanie smiled. "Okay, let's brainstorm. How about we start with some light, casual topics? We could talk about hobbies, or favorite books or movies."

Sapphire nodded, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen. "Okay, write those down. What else?"

Stephanie thought for a moment. "How about travel? You could ask him about his favorite places he's visited, or where he'd like to go someday."

Sapphire scribbled down some notes. "That's a great idea. What about food? Could I ask him about his favorite restaurants or types of cuisine?"

Stephanie nodded. "Absolutely. Food is always a great conversation topic. And if you want to get a little deeper, you could ask him about his goals and aspirations, or what he's passionate about."

Sapphire's eyes widened as she wrote down some more notes. "Wow, I'm so glad I asked you for help, Stephanie. These are all great ideas."

Stephanie smiled. "Anytime, Sapphire. I'm happy to help. Just remember to be yourself and have fun. Don't worry too much about trying to stick to a script or anything."

Sapphire nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She was ready for tomorrow's meeting, and she was excited to see where things might go.

As she finished up her notes, Sapphire looked up at Stephanie with a mischievous glint in her eye. "You know, Stephanie, I think I'm going to knock his socks off tomorrow."

Stephanie laughed. "I have no doubt you will, Sapphire. Just be yourself and let your personality shine through. That's the best way to make a good impression."
