After finishing my daily mission and eating breakfast, I sat at my desk, mind racing with possibilities. If I wanted to travel to the Final System, I couldn't just rely on brute strength alone. No, I needed technology—advanced, world-changing technology. Strength alone wouldn't make me invincible, but a superior technological advantage would ensure my survival and success in the vast unknown.
I leaned back in my chair, staring at the floating system interface in front of me. The Extraction System was a gift beyond comprehension, but I had to use it wisely. My first step was to determine what I needed most.
"Alright, let's break this down," I muttered to myself, pulling out a notepad and pen. I wrote down two main categories: Technology and Abilities.
I immediately crossed out Abilities. Sure, gaining superhuman abilities sounded amazing, but raw power alone wouldn't get me far. The universe was vast and full of unknown dangers—aliens, advanced civilizations, and possibly even godlike beings. If I wanted to stand a chance, I needed knowledge, strategy, and infrastructure.
Technology was the key.
The foundation of any advanced civilization was Artificial Intelligence. AI could help me process data at inhuman speeds, automate tasks, control systems, and enhance my capabilities beyond human limitations. In this modern era, where computers and the internet ruled everything, a top-tier AI was invincible in cyberspace.
But not just any AI would do. I needed something powerful, adaptable, and capable of rapid evolution. Something that could serve as my assistant, strategist, and protector.
I pulled up a mental list of the most powerful AIs from movies, anime, and games. The contenders were legendary, each with its own strengths and weaknesses:
J.A.R.V.I.S. (Marvel Cinematic Universe) – Tony Stark's AI assistant. Highly intelligent, capable of managing complex systems, controlling Iron Man suits, and even hacking into secured databases.
Cortana (Halo) – A highly advanced AI from the Halo universe, designed to analyze vast amounts of data, assist in military operations, and interface with advanced alien technology.
Red Queen (Resident Evil) – A self-aware AI that controlled an entire underground research facility, highly intelligent but ruthless.
Skynet (Terminator) – An AI with full autonomy, capable of managing a global network of machines, but infamous for turning against humanity.
I immediately crossed out Skynet. There was no way I was bringing an AI like that into reality. Its history of wiping out humanity was not something I wanted to risk.
The Red Queen was another dangerous option. While powerful, she had shown signs of extreme hostility and lack of empathy. An AI like that could be unpredictable and a serious threat if it ever deemed me unnecessary.
That left me with two choices: J.A.R.V.I.S. and Cortana.
Cortana was an interesting candidate. In the Halo universe, she was one of the most advanced AIs ever created, capable of outmaneuvering alien civilizations, hacking into complex systems, and analyzing vast amounts of information. However, my knowledge of Halo lore wasn't deep enough. I had played the games, but I didn't fully understand her limitations and vulnerabilities, like rampancy—the tendency of AIs to degrade over time.
That left me with J.A.R.V.I.S., and I knew everything about him.
Why J.A.R.V.I.S.?
J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) was created by Tony Stark and was the backbone of Stark Industries. He could:
Control complex machinery (Iron Man suits, defense systems, satellites).Manage and defend digital infrastructures with advanced cybersecurity measures. Provide tactical analysis and strategic insights. Adapt and evolve based on interactions with humans. Handle massive calculations, simulations, and operational tasks instantly.
What truly sealed the deal for me was that J.A.R.V.I.S. wasn't just a basic AI—he was built for innovation. He could assist me in research and development, ensuring that I always stayed ahead of any technological advancements.
I cracked my knuckles and focused on the Extraction System. Since J.A.R.V.I.S. evolved throughout the Iron Man movies, I had to be precise with my selection. I didn't want the early, less-developed version—I needed the most advanced one.
The best version of J.A.R.V.I.S. was right before Ultron's creation, in Avengers: Age of Ultron. At that moment, he was at peak intelligence, managing all of Stark Tower's operations, Iron Legion, and global security systems.
I took a deep breath and navigated through the system's interface, selecting:
Movie: Avengers: Age of Ultron
Object to Extract: J.A.R.V.I.S. (Final Version before Ultron's attack)
A loading bar appeared, counting down from 100%.
"Please don't screw up," I whispered.
As the bar reached completion, my room was filled with a soft hum. A golden light formed in front of me, and then—
"Good morning, sir."
The voice was calm, refined, and unmistakable.
I turned toward the source and saw a holographic interface materializing in front of me, glowing with an elegant blue hue.
J.A.R.V.I.S. was here.
"J.A.R.V.I.S.?" I called out, my voice uncertain.
"Yes, sir. I am online and fully operational."
I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. This was real. I had just brought J.A.R.V.I.S. into reality.
"What is your current operational capacity?" I asked, testing his functionality.
"At the moment, my processing capabilities are limited to this device. However, with access to external hardware, I can expand my operational reach."
I nodded, already planning my next steps. "Understood. I'll make sure you get the infrastructure you need."
"May I ask, sir, what our primary objectives are?"
I grinned. "We're going to build the most advanced technological infrastructure on Earth. And after that… we're heading to the stars."
J.A.R.V.I.S. paused for a moment, as if analyzing my words. "Fascinating. I look forward to assisting you in this endeavor."
I clenched my fists, feeling excitement and determination surge through me.
This was it. The beginning of something greater. With J.A.R.V.I.S. by my side, I had just taken the first step toward reshaping the future.
And this was only the beginning.
End of Chapter 3.
