Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Spark of Innovation

After my conversation with J.A.R.V.I.S., I decided to check my system profile. A new section had appeared that hadn't been there before.

Profile:

Name: Zero Celestia

Age: 24

Strength: 2 +1

Wisdom: 6 +1

Agility: 2 +1

Vitality: 2 +1

Charm: 2 +1

Luck: 5

Extraction: 1

I blinked. My Extraction Points had gone from 2 to 1, which made sense since I had just used one to bring J.A.R.V.I.S. into reality. However, what really caught my attention was the increase in my attributes. Strength, wisdom, agility, vitality, and charm had all gone up by one. It explained why I had felt physically stronger after completing my morning exercises, but there had been no notification about it.

I frowned. "System, are you there? Can you put notifications for attribute growth?"

-Affirmative-

A simple response, but at least that issue was handled. Now I'd be able to track my improvements more efficiently.

I leaned back in my chair, contemplating our next move. Artificial Intelligence was already covered thanks to J.A.R.V.I.S., and quantum computing was an eventual goal but still out of reach for now. The logical next step was renewable energy.

If I wanted to build an empire, I needed a self-sustaining power source, something that would allow us to work independently from existing infrastructure. And what better solution than the Arc Reactor?

I quickly pulled up my system interface and selected the extraction menu. The Iron Man 2 movie came to mind—the scene where Tony Stark created a new Arc Reactor using a synthetic element. That was the version I needed.

Before proceeding, I turned to J.A.R.V.I.S.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., do you have any knowledge of how to build an Arc Reactor? Any blueprints?"

His interface flickered slightly. "My apologies, sir. Upon my extraction into this reality, I lost access to all proprietary Stark Industries designs, including the Arc Reactor blueprints."

I nodded. "Got it. No problem. I'll handle it."

I selected the extraction command.

Movie: Iron Man 2

Object to Extract: Arc Reactor (Latest Blueprint from Tony Stark's Research)

A glowing progress bar appeared before me. My heart pounded as I watched it fill.

-Extraction Complete-

A small, silver USB drive materialized on my desk. I picked it up and immediately plugged it into my computer.

"J.A.R.V.I.S., scan the contents. Can you construct this?"

His interface pulsed as he analyzed the data. "Yes, sir. The blueprints are complete. However, the reactor requires rare elements that are difficult to obtain through conventional means. Additionally, a specialized fabrication lab is needed for precision assembly."

I exhaled. "Alright, let's break this down. What do we need?"

"For the reactor's core, we require palladium, vibranium, or a synthetic substitute similar to the one Mr. Stark developed. The outer shell and energy regulators can be fabricated using high-grade titanium and nanocarbon composites. The primary challenge is obtaining the synthetic element, as it does not exist naturally in this reality."

I grinned. "Good thing we don't rely on this reality's limitations, then. I'll handle the materials soon. In the meantime, let's work on setting up an advanced robotics division to aid in construction."

J.A.R.V.I.S. responded immediately. "Understood, sir. I will begin designing a set of autonomous construction drones for precision assembly and maintenance."

I smirked. "Perfect. Once we have our own Arc Reactor, we can power an entire research facility without relying on external energy grids. That means complete independence."

J.A.R.V.I.S. paused briefly before responding, "Sir, may I make a suggestion?"

"Go ahead."

"Instead of constructing a single Arc Reactor, we should develop a scalable reactor array capable of generating energy for multiple future projects. A single unit may be sufficient now, but as Celestia Industries expands, energy demands will increase exponentially."

I tapped my chin. "You're right. We should plan for the long term. Let's build a system where multiple reactors can interlink, forming a decentralized power grid."

"Acknowledged, sir. I will optimize the design accordingly."

Before I could continue my planning, my phone alarm rang—it was 10 AM, signaling that my college classes were about to start.

Despite my newfound powers, I still had to go to school. For now. Of course, I knew it wouldn't be long before my studies became obsolete—once I released advanced technology into the world, traditional education wouldn't be able to keep up.

Still, for today, I packed my bag and headed out, boarding the bus to my college. I was a second-year student majoring in Electronics Engineering—which explained my fascination with sci-fi, technology, and futuristic advancements.

Upon arriving at class, I was greeted by my classmates before our professor walked in, immediately diving into Electromagnetics. However, something felt different.

I found myself understanding complex concepts effortlessly. Mathematical equations that once took me time to process now flowed naturally. I had struggled a bit with advanced mathematics before, but now? Everything clicked into place.

I smirked. It seemed my wisdom attribute increase was already showing its effects.

As the lecture continued, I started thinking about the potential applications of electromagnetism in my designs. Could I enhance the Arc Reactor's efficiency by incorporating electromagnetic field stabilizers? Could I develop new means of wireless energy transfer? The possibilities were endless.

Hours passed quickly, and before I knew it, classes were over. I made my way home, eager to check in with J.A.R.V.I.S.

As soon as I arrived, I sat at my desk. "J.A.R.V.I.S., update me on our progress."

"Yes, sir. I have successfully acquired palladium. As for vibranium, I am currently synthesizing alternative materials to recreate its properties. All other necessary components for the Arc Reactor are complete."

"And the drones?"

"I have successfully designed and fabricated a fleet of autonomous drones and robotic assistants. They are ready to begin the assembly process at your command."

I grinned. "Excellent."

The pieces were falling into place. Soon, I would have an unlimited power source, a fleet of drones, and the technological infrastructure to begin reshaping the world.

End of Chapter 5.
