Titan Holdings thought they were untouchable.
That was about to change.
The First Leak
Isabella sat at her laptop, fingers flying over the keyboard. Claire stood behind her, watching as she prepared the anonymous data dump.
"Are you sure about this?" Claire asked.
Isabella's jaw tightened. "We can't afford to wait. They came for us first. Now, we hit back."
She uploaded a single, carefully chosen document—one that linked Titan Holdings to illegal campaign funding for a powerful senator. Not enough to expose their entire operation, but enough to send a warning.
Alexander crossed his arms beside her. "By morning, the media will be all over this."
Damian smirked. "And Titan will be panicking."
Isabella hit send. "Let's see how untouchable they really are."
The Fallout Begins
The next morning, the headlines were everywhere.
"Major Private Equity Firm Linked to Political Corruption."
"Anonymous Leak Raises Questions About Titan Holdings."
Isabella scrolled through the news articles, her pulse racing. It was working.
Then her phone buzzed.
Unknown Number: You have no idea what you've started.
She exhaled sharply and showed the message to Alexander.
He read it, then looked up at her, his expression dark. "Good. Let them be afraid."
Titan Strikes Back
By midday, Claire called with an update. "You were right. Titan's scrambling. Their lawyers are already trying to bury the story."
Isabella smirked. "Let them try."
But then Claire's voice turned serious. "There's something else."
Isabella and Alexander exchanged a look. "What?"
Claire hesitated. "There's been a breach at Blackwood Enterprises. Someone hacked your financial records, Alexander."
His eyes narrowed. "Titan."
Claire exhaled. "And that's not all. Isabella, your company just got hit with a surprise audit. Someone's trying to make it look like you're committing fraud."
A chill ran down Isabella's spine. Titan wasn't just retaliating. They were trying to destroy them completely.
Alexander clenched his jaw. "They want a war?"
His eyes met Isabella's.
"Then we'll give them one."
