The gunshot had shattered more than just glass.
It was the final proff- Titan wasn't going to let them walk away from this.
But Isabella and Alexander weren't running.
They were fighting back.
Under fire Claire took the lead, gun raised as she signaled for everyone to move. "Stay low. We need to get to the car -now!"
Another bullet whizzed past, embedding itself in the wall.
Alexander grabbed Isabella's wrist and pulled her behind cover. His eyes were sharp, focused. "Are you okay?"
She nodded, adrenaline drowning out the fear. "I'm not scared."
His smirk was grim. " Good. Because we're about to fight our way out of this."
Damian ducked behind a desk, typing rapidly on his tablet. " Give me thirty seconds. I'm overriding the building's security-locking them inside. "
Alexander gave him a sharp nod before looking at Claire. " How many are there?"
She peeked around the corner. "At least four. Heavily armed."
Isabella exhaled. "Then we take them down fast."
The moment Damian hit enter, the emergency lock down kicked in.
Doors slammed shut. Lights flickered. Security alarms blamed.
The mercenaries hesitated--just long enough.
Alexander lunged first. A precise, brutal punch sent one gunman sprawling. He grabbed the man's weapon before he could recover.
Claire fired, taking out another assailant's knee. He collapsed with a scream.
Isabella grabbed a fallen gun and aimed at the last two. "Drop your weapons or we drop you."
They hesitated - then the one on the left lunged.
Isabella didn't hesitate a shot rang out.
The man collapsed.
The last attacker threw down his gun, hands raised. Claire knocked him out cold with the butt of her pistol.
Silence fell.
Then Damian exhaled. "Holy shit. That actually worked. "
Alexander turned to Isabella, his expression unreadable. "Are you still in?"
She wiped the blood from her knuckles and nodded. "We end them. Tonight. "
Damian grinned. "Then let's make Titan burn."
Because now?
This wasn't just survival.
It was revenge.
