In a famous restaurant the afternoon rush had ended and most of the workers had just taken a break while washing dishes, or making more foods required for some of the customers

"make sure the kitchen is clean I don't wish the health inspector to come and drop a fine whatsoever do you understand? ", said the manager who had worn a stricking royal blue gown with its sleeves long to her wrists her dark hair was let down and reached her shoulders.

"and where the hell is Gwen ",she asked " I asked her to be on time if she wishes to have her pay "

"She might be a bit late today miss",said a girl dressed in the waitress uniform with her brown hair tied up in a bun.

"oh, really and what will be the excuse this time her uncle got caught again by the police " said the manager

"I am not actually sure ma'am"

"Do one thing Natasha and advice your little friend to at least value her work she is grateful I forgave most of the scenes her uncle caused in this restaurant they nearly made me loose another of customers at a go"

"Yes, ma'am I will inform her "

"Good, now chop chop back to work y'all "

Everyone returned back to their works immediately ,moments later a young girl with dark brown hair and ocean blue eyes arrived and went straight to the employees locker room and changed to the waitress uniform ,tied her herghair to a bun grabbed a pen and fresh notebook then went straight to the counter.

"what took you so long today ,I completely ran out of words to tell miss Aisha ",said Natasha

"Sorry home issues again ",said the girl

"Uncle, got into another fight at a bar and I had to bail him out for causing a commotion in some else's bussiness"

"that's gotta be a pain in the neck "

"It really is, but what can I do he is the only guardian I have to look after me"

"and you still pay him that's absurd"

"I don't actually call it payment it's like helping with the household expenses"

"of which you are still paying alongside the money you give him, you are literally supporting him instead of him supporting you, my advice to you is to get your self an apartment and move out dear, be independent live your own life with your own rules just like me", finished off Natasha with the look of pride flashing across her eyes.

Gwen only sighed then spoke

"that all pretty seems amazing but I can't leave my uncle by himself he might get into more trouble by the day "

"it's not like it declines now that you are around, does it"

Gwen could only open and close her mouth like a fish on dry land.

"tell me Gwen does it ",asked Natasha

"your uncle is only using you to pay his little self expenses trust me if he was able he could sell you to the country's richest tycoon just to settle his expenses" continued Natasha

"Yo ,waitress don't you see me ringing the bell here",said a man on a table that broke the current conversation

"we will continue the talk later ok Natasha, I am on my way sir",said Gwen as she flashed a quick smile and went to the customer.

"my poor little friend ",sighed Natasha as she continued with her work .

After the the day shift both Natasha and Gwen walked out the restaurant to the under ground garage

"hey, Gwen there is going to be a sick party later wanna come along I will give you a ride",said Natasha

"No need I don't think if I can come, uncle got severely injured the last time and I don't wish to leave him alone "

"When will you learn to have fun and care for yourself "

"I do have.... ",Gwen was cut short when Natasha butted in

"really tell me one thing, just one that you did for yourself, huh tell me",said Natasha crossing her arms over her chest.

" I.. I.. ",stuttered Gwen

"see nothing, sigh, if you want some fun next time I will always be here to help you get out of that little confined shell of yours, got it"

"Yeah, see you tomorrow "

"if I don't have a hangover that is ",said Natasha hoping on her motor bike and leaving

Gwen let out a long sigh and climbed on her bicycle and went home

As she reached the flat building she lived together with her uncle there were several black cars parked outside the residence

"Never seen a lot of executive cars all in one place. I wonder what is the occasion "

Gwen parked her bicycle in the bicycle rack and went inside.

As she walked to the elevator she heard someone call her

"Excuse me miss the elevator are under repair, it was advised to use the stairs for the mean time", said the receptionist

" OK ,sure",Gwen replied

This is gonna be a long walk,Gwen thought as she continued climbing up the stairs to the third floor she bumped into a man who was followed behind by two men dressed in complete black with black leather gloves holding a covered up bird cage.

"Excuse me",said Gwen as she made way for them to pass .The trio passed with no word .

Those are definetly new guys I have never seen them here ,and what's up with those clothes they look ready to kill, thought Gwen.

When she finally arrived to the apartment the door was swung open with her uncle ,Jack slumped down on the ground leaning on the couch drinking from a bottle of alcohol.

The house was a mess almost as if two alphas were fighting for a mate.

" uncle what happened in here ",said Gwen walking over the broken glass vase

" Nothing much.....they only took the blu....bl...blue",said Jack in an alcoholic tone

"Uncle,speak up what did they take ", said Gwen as she stood in her tracks

" They took the Blue Jay",finished Jack

"They took Mimo ,how could you let them "

"The blue jay costs a fortune dear ,don't worry I will go get money so you could buy a new one ,OK"

"Mimo was the last thing my mom gave me as a gift how could you give her away so that you could pay oof your debts", said Gwen as he started crying

" You say your gonna pay back Mimo ,with what your betting and alcoholic behaviour brought us into this mess in the first place...",Gwen was cut short with a large slap on her cheek that made her bend to the other side due to the impact.

"You mind your tongue ",said Jack "That money makes you eat and live doesn't it just be glad you finished your university courses ,find a job and start paying back all that money that made you survive till now got it,"

Jack went out the doorway and left Gwen as she slowly slumped down to the floor and cried silently.

"When ,when will this nightmare be over ", said Gwen as she hiccuped through her cries.
