He demanded for all the knowledge as the reward from the book and the book said, "Your brain and body is not capable of handling all the knowledge but your wish shall be fulfilled. You will gain the knowledge in the form of tasks. I will assign you with the tasks and after the completion of those tasks, you will be rewarded with a part of all the knowledge, the Eternal Knowledge. ".
He listened to the book and found it very ridiculous and asked, " What do you mean by my brain and body are not ready? ".
The book said, " Your brain and body are very weak and will be shattered if I gave you all the Eternal Knowledge right now. ".
He murmured, " Tsk, just say you are not capable and very weak and uselss. ".
Book asked, " Did you said anything, master? ", with a very suspicious aura and he refused.
" So, what's my first task?, asked the Silver Eyed.
Book said, "Atleast kill the Leviathan first, dumbass. ".
He looked towards the book with anger but let it go and went towards the water body where he first found the Leviathan. He wanted to get acknowledged by the white ring but didn't had any time for that. He could feel the Lucifer's aura inside his body and now he reached there.
He could hear something very big swiming inside the water. This time, he was not scared. He has developed his skills and power tremendously and now was ready to kill the Leviathan. He jumped inside the water and look towards his surrounding.
Last time, when he found a Leviathan, it was very big but this time when he opened his eyes, there was not one Leviathan but three. One of them was the Leviathan he encountered last time and the other two, they were even bigger than that one. They were ten times of the size of that Leviathan, it was like these two were the parents of that Leviathan and that one was the child. The stage was set, it was not a 1v3 but a 2v3 because he already decided to use his new technique, Blood March and he also decided whose blood he was going to manifest for this technique.
But to use that technique, there should be blood around the caster. He decided to eliminate the smaller Leviathan but before he could do anything, all three of those Leviathan spotted him and charged at him. His speed inside the water was very slow and he couldn't hold his breathe any longer and rushed towards the surface.
He was just about to reach the surface but from the surface, a mouth entered inside the water, it was the smaller Leviathan which went out of the water to jump on him from outside and he was waiting for this opportunity. He summoned his Guardian Blade and chanted, "Guardian's Fang! ", in his thought and cut the Leviathan vertically. There was blood all over and the book said," You have successfully slained a baby Leviathan. ", he came out of the water, took a breathe and chanted, " Blood March: Samael! " and the figure of Samael was created behind him with blood. He sat on his knee to show respect to the Silver Eyed and said, "What are your orders, emperor? ".
He said, " Can you take care of one of those Leviathan? ".
Samael said, " Of course and I can even kill the other if you want, emperor. ".
He refused and told him that he wanted to face the male one by himself.
Samael went to the female Leviathan and he went to the male Leviathan. Samael used his Hellfire to create flames and those flames were so powerful that they were vaporizing the water around them. Both of those Leviathan was so big that Samael and the Silver Eyed were like a grain of sand.
The female Leviathan open her mouth and tried to eat Samael but Samael used his Hellfire and burned her tongue and the female Leviathan screamed in pain and the male noticed her scream and rushed to save her but then the Silver Eyed used his Guardian Blade and swinged it in a water with such great force that it created a sharp wave in the water which wounded the male Leviathan.
The male Leviathan opened his mouth and sucked the water surrounding him and from his mouth, came a beam, a water beam with a very great force towards the Silver Eyed which he tried to block from his Guardian Blade but failed and was hit by the beam but it doesn't affect him much because of his armor.
Here, Samael was torturing the female one as he was not killing her but only giving her numerous wounds because of which she was feeling intense pain and the Silver Eyed noticed that and wanted to stop him but couldn't because he was inside water but suddenly recieved a signal inside his brain, "Is something wrong, emperor? ".
He didn't know what was going on and said, " Give her a painless death idiot, we are not here to torture them. ".
Samael said, "Oh, I am really sorry emperor, I will do as you say. " and he unleashed a flame wave from his Leviathan and cut her body vertically and after that her body started to burn and turned to ashes in couple of seconds, that was the power of Hellfire.
Silver Eyed rushed towards the surface of the water because he was losing breathe but the male didn't let him do that and he had to take Samael's help. Samael distracted the male Leviathan and he went to the surface and took a deep breathe and came inside the water again and told Samael to leave the male one alone now.
The male started coming towards him and that's what he wanted, he unleashed his attack, Guardian's Breathe and cut the male Leviathan into millions of pieces.
The book said, "You have successfully slained a male adult Leviathan and your blood soldier has slained a female adult Leviathan. You have successfully completed your quest of getting a name. You will be rewarded with your name in a minute. ".
Samael disapeared as his time came to end and now he could never summon Samael again. He extracted the materials from the female Leviathan and from the kid Leviathan and manifested the knowledge of the male Leviathan and then came out of the water body.
The book said, "You have gained more mastery in Blood March technique and can now keep one of your blood soul as a permanent soldier, which soul would you like to keep and you cannot undo it or change and you have to decide it now in 60 seconds. ".
The answer was obvious, he said, " I would like to keep Lucifer as my permanent Blood soldier. ".
He then drank the blood of the female and the kid Leviathan but then book said, " You have drink the blood of two same creatures that's why you can only keep one of those two as your Blood soldier and it will be decided randomly.... you have successfully manifested the blood of kid Leviathan. ".
He said with anger, " What the hell do you mean!? ", " Atleast give me the female Leviathan! ", but the book didn't said anything and remained silent.
He sighed because he knew that now he can't do anything and waited for his name to be assign. The book said, " Your name has been decided, you will be known as Zhang Li from now on. ".
He said, " Zhang Li? ", " Well, whatever, atleast i got a name. ".
He asked, " Now, tell me about the tasks to gained the Eternal Knowledge. ".
Book said, " Your first task will be to hunt down the emperor of the nightmares and take over there empire. If you complete this task, you will gain a part of Eternal Knowledge related to this world. ".
He thought, "Wait, I have heard the name, 'Nightmare', somewhere. " and questioned the book, "Did I ever encountered this 'Nightmare'? ".
Book replied, " Yes, you encountered a nightmare while searching for the Hell's Gate. ".
He realised that in his upcoming battle, the emperor was not going to be his main enemy but his past.
He asked the book, " Where am I supposed to find the empire of the nightmare? ".
Book said, " Ain't it obvious? ", " You will find the empire in your nightmare. ".
He was so confused and asked again but the book didn't respond.
He gave a sigh and decided to cook the Leviathan's meat as he was already hunrgy and night has arrived. He set up a campfire and started cooking the meet. After eating, he went to sleep but couldn't sleep, something was bothering him continuously. He was thinking whether it was right to kill the kid Leviathan and her family even though they didn't do anything to him and were innocent. He started to feel guitly and thought to release the kid Leviathan. He stood up and started to chant, "Blood March: kid Leviatha-" but before he could finish, he woke up in the middle of the night, he realised he was sweating and it was all a dream or was it a nightmare?
It was his past which was haunting him in his dream, in reality, he didn't feel much guilty. He realised that he was already inside the empire of the Nightmare and his dreams are his current enemy which are going to represent his past to break his will. He went to the water body and drank some water and then came back and went to sleep again.
He was sleeping near the campfire he created and there was still fire in the campfire. He used the skin of kid Leviathan to create bed for him.
In his dream, he saw he woke up in a middle of ground and the ground was surrounded by fog and he could hear a voice, a familiar voice but he couldn't recognize it.
The voice kept shouting, "Older brother! Older brother! I am here! Brother! ".
It was a very familiar voice and he started searching for the person and after sometime the fog disapeared and right infront of him was a 8 year old boy who was calling him brother.
He recognized him and said, " Yoru? ".
In his past life when he was around 13 years old, he had a younger brother of age of 8 year old and he always played with him after earning some money and securing some food for themselves.
It was his brother infront of him in his dream. He reached to touch him but he took some step back and said, "Why? ", " Why didn't you save me, brother? ", " You could have saved me that day, I could have lived if you had showed some courage, you piece of crap. I always looked up to you but in the end, you betrayed me, brother, why didn't you save me that day!?, "Answer me!".
Tears started coming out of his eyes and he said, " No.. you are mistaken. I did my best to save you.. I never abandoned you, Yoru. ".
Yoru said, " Lies! Lies! Lies! You have always lied to me, lied about everything, about how we would have a very luxurias life in future like those friends of yours. I always hated you and cursed myself for having a brother like you. I hate you, brother! ".
He started crying and kept saying, " No, don't say that Yoru, I did my best to save you that day. " and then he woke up. He was crying even though he was out of his dream and he was sweating very badly. That night, he didn't sleep a bit and remained awake thinking about his late younger brother.
