"I'm looking for to it too, don't worry though, I won't do anything you don't want and we'll move at the pace you want "
He reassured, despite her looking forward to their union, he still felt it was necessary to reassure her. Since he's the one who stands to benefit the most it was necessary that he makes the experience as pleasant as possible.
Seeing this Selina rolled her eyes and snorted in derision. She never liked women like Shiori, they were too eager to please mommy and daddy rather than choose for herself, Selina guessed that Shiori had a hard time saying no to her parents.
"So how are we going to do this?"
"there's no "how do we do this" I'm not marrying you period."
"How about we each spend time with you on different days so we can get to know each other better and go from there?"
"Hey don't ignore me."
"I can work with that."
"Alright then if that was all, I will be leaving."
Natasha spoke as she proceeded to stand up and walked towards the exit, the two other women also did the same leaving Leon by himself, although he did enjoy the sights of their backsides as they walked away, once they were at the door about the exit Selina turned around to look at him.
She had a scowl on her face, she then gave him the middle finger showing her disapproval before she exited the building.
"Damn they're hot."
He exclaimed to himself, if he could marry all three of them that would be the best possible outcome, in the sense that it maximises the benefits, of course he plans to give them everything, all his attention and love.
He believes he is fully capable of doing that and making them happy. They deserve more than that for what he stands to gain from them so it is a small price to pay.
Perhaps It's greedy of him and scum of him but that's just how he feels, although he won't force the issue.
The idea of polygamy isn't unheard of in fact there have been multiple people he has seen and heard about that have close to 6 or 7 wives so it's not exactly taboo, not to mention he's certain there's a woman in this city with 3 husbands, so it wasn't unrealistic.
The only reason there's a wider majority against such relationships is because people just don't want to share plus there's too many humans in the world so there's no need for multiple people to be in love with the same person and quite honestly having 3 girlfriends would probably be a pain.
After having confirmed via magic that the women had left in their respective cars, he snapped his fingers dimming the lights in the restaurant before a purple magic circle appeared beneath him before he disappeared from the spot leaving the place empty.
........
[Next day]
A yawn came from his mouth, he used his hands to cover it up before wiping the tears from his eyes, his short black hair swayed due to the wind coming from the open window on his side. Currently he was attending a history class at the university he is going to.
"Mr. Merlin, is my class boring you, if so you're free to leave and do something exciting."
"No sir, I'm alright here, hearing you speak is much more exciting than anything in the world."
He responded to the professor, his response laced with a good amount of sarcasm earning a few laughs from his classmates and successfully earning the Professors ire.
"Oh, is that so? Then perhaps you'd like to join me for extra classes this weekend, since you find my teaching to be so exciting, I'm sure you'll have a great time."
"Really? That's so awesome I'd love to, oh wait no, I have a family thing on the weekend so I'm going to have to pass, sorry."
Another monotone response laced with sarcasm that was even more apparent than before earned him some more laughs from the class, the professor closed his eyes to calm himself before deciding to continue the class and not let the distraction ruin his day.
Once the attention was off him, he turned his head towards the window and looked outside, it was a beautiful summer afternoon with clear skies and the sun shone bright.
To any normal person it would look that way but to his eyes he could see a myriad of things, lingering spirits of the dead floating about being mischievous, cursed spirits and weirdly shaped objects, small fairies flying about seemingly having fun.
The world was very magical with various beings existing however despite the magical nature of the world very few humans had the ability to wield magic; only close to 0,5 % of humans can use magic.
Despite the low percentage it's still quite a lot of people but if you scatter them all across the globe it becomes difficult to meet other people with magic especially since they make it a point to hide themselves
His eyes shifted from the window and down onto his desk and watched the fairies play around his hands, with some flying up to his head.
"You aight, Leon?"
The person sitting right next to him asked, Leon's desk mate was a tall blonde man with blue eyes, he looked to be a bit fit with clear muscles underneath his clothes. The man looked to be in his early twenties the same age as Leon.
"Yeah, I'm fine"
He answered, the man beside him was Allen Cruez, a friend, he wouldn't call him a best friend, but they have known each other for about a year now.
"Cool where'd you go yesterday? You kind of sort of disappeared after class."
"I had a few things to do at home I had to dip off, sorry I left you hanging."
"Nah it's cool bro, was your old man making you work by getting rid of "evil spirits" again."
Allen asked and clearly putting the "evil spirits" part in quotation marks, unlike Leon who was a mage Allen had no idea that magic was a thing he mostly attributed it to fantasy and something non-existent.
"Something like that"
"Must suck"
"Not really, business has been booming, as a spirit medium he knows what he's doing."
"Anyway, since you left me hanging yesterday how about you pay me back by buying drinks after class, we both don't have any classes after this."
Leon gave a sigh his friend was rather quite into alcohol, a twenty something year old shouldn't really drink so much especially a son of a rich man.
"You're the rich kid here, shouldn't you pay for it."
Allen was the heir to a rather big company that specialises in brewing all kinds of alcohol, maybe that's the reason he likes alcohol so much or at least Leon attributed it to that.
"Yeah, but you're one who left me by my lonesome yesterday, some compensation is in order."
"Yeah fine"
Leon reluctantly agreed, earning a pleased nod from Allen, despite being the son of a brewery company and having plenty of money Allen found it amusing to have other people buy him things.
With the matter of who was buying drinks settled their conversation drifted from alcohol and the two began to talk about various other things, however their conversation was cut short as a flying piece of chalk hit Allen on the forehead before the professor's voice again was heard.
"It seems you two are eager to vacate my class, I'm sure you have better things to talk about but please if you must do it outside my class."
The professor gave them a warning to which they heeded and kept quiet, though Leon felt like doing as the teacher said and leaving, as someone who wields magic he found the idea of remaining low-key ridiculous, or rather he failed to understand why the magic community insisted on hiding themselves.
Surely it would lead to great things should magic be revealed to the wider world.
The class went on until the bell rang signalling the class was over prompting the students to collect their things and leave.
"Alright now time for you to pay up."
Allen spoke with a grin on his face, he was going to want the most expensive alcohol Leon could afford, however a voice called out to him.
"Hey Allen, what are you doing?"
The voice was feminine with a slight high pitch, Allen turned his head and saw the girl that called out to him, his grin disappeared, and he heaved a sigh.
"Must suck having a girlfriend."
Leon chuckled slightly; it seemed that Allen got so excited about the prospect of draining Leon's wallet that he forgot he had plans with his girlfriend.
"Don't worry about it, maybe next time"
"Definitely next time I ain't giving this up."
Was Allen's response before he ran off to meet his girlfriend who was already near the exit of the class leaving Leon with a smile on his face, though he had nothing to do now and pretty much free?
'Should probably take care of those cursed spirits."
