Quest Activated: Trial of the Archmage
Objective: Survive, Adapt, and Overcome.
From the moment his Gamer System activated, Harry knew his life had changed forever. He had expected something big, something legendary.
But he hadn't expected his first true quest to be hiding right beneath his home.
At seven years old, curiosity led him to the basement of the Potter Manor—a place he had never been allowed to explore. His parents rarely spoke of it, and even house-elves avoided the place. That alone was suspicious enough to draw him in.
The walls were old, covered in runes he didn't recognize. The air was thick with ancient magic, pulsating like a sleeping beast.
And then he saw it—a sealed stone door, hidden behind a bookshelf, pulsing with faint blue energy.
Something deep inside him reacted. It wasn't just curiosity. It was instinct. His Gamer System had been quiet for days, but now—

Harry's breath caught in his throat.
A dungeon? A literal dungeon beneath his house?
This was not normal magic.
"If I was meant to find this… then I will see it through."
The Descent into the Unknown
The door recognized his touch.
Blue runes flared to life, scanning his bloodline—and the stone shifted, revealing a dark stairway leading downward.
As Harry stepped inside, his Gamer System updated.

The air grew colder. The deeper he went, the more he could feel the weight of the magic around him.
This place is old. Really old.
At the bottom of the staircase, a massive stone chamber awaited him. Floating orbs of light illuminated the space, revealing a circular arena in the center.
And at the heart of it—
A statue stood, depicting a hooded wizard holding a staff.
Then, Harry saw the message carved into the stone:
"To those who seek power, prove your worth."
His Gamer System flashed red.

Harry barely had time to react before the statue moved.
Its stone eyes glowed bright gold, and with a grinding sound of shifting rock, the guardian came to life.
It raised its staff, and suddenly—
Fire exploded from its hands, racing toward him.
First Battle: Testing His Limits
Harry's instincts screamed at him to move.
His feet barely dodged the blast, the heat singing the air around him.
His mind raced. He was Level 3—he wasn't strong enough to fight something like this!
But his Gamer System had given him tools.

The chamber was filled with floating orbs of light.
And if there was one thing Harry knew—light was made of energy.
He stretched his hand forward, focusing on a single orb.
And he pulled.

And to his shock—
The ice shattered mid-air, exploding into harmless mist.
Harry's heart pounded. It worked.
