Chapter Two:
"Good morning, Third Young Master." Mr. Doe's watery blue eyes stared down at me, his thin lips raised in a mocking smile. His rough cool hand caressed my check, moving a stray hair strand behind my ear. My heart stopped, the previous owners fear rooted into his bones, even when his body has been taken over by me. The strange feeling spread from the base of my spine down to my coccyx, the chill radiating through me like my own blood. My eyes fluttered, my body trembling - this reaction in itself seemed to please Mr. Doe. He simply smiled sardonically at me, left a warm cup of water, crackers, and a large thermos filled with broth.
You'd almost think he was a nice guy.
After replenishing, I got up and went to the restroom. There were already hygiene products inside, with a change of clothes to the side. There were navy blue pajamas and thick wool socks folded up to the side, with a disposable toothbrush, toothpaste and face wash packets on the sink. I washed my face, staring into the mirror.
Wow. I'm beautiful!!! ꒰ღ˘‿˘ற꒱
My pale skin glistened with the drops of water, resembling wet porcelain. There were no blemishes, just a small beauty mark on my nose. My hazel eyes sat nearly asymmetrically on my face, long eyelashes showcasing a delicate look. My lips were plump, the bottom lip slightly bigger, pink with some cracks due to sickness. My shoulder length black hair was combed back in a messy bun, flyaways sticking out everywhere. My body was slim with no fat to show, my ribs sticking out depending on how I bent my body. My legs were just as slender, my white legs sporting scars and bruises in different stages of healing. My arms were just as bruised from the elbow up, my sides as well.
That monster… first thing I must do is get revenge on him for the original. Not even just for him but for humanity- this piece of shit doesn't deserve to be alive and should die under my feet for the pain he dared to cause. A mere servant abusing a young master - why is he NOT dead?!
I sighed, sympathizing with the original owner but at the same time condemning him for never speaking out. But how can I judge the victim when I'm not him myself? All I can do is sigh in exasperation.
After I finished washing up, I laid down in the bed, glancing at the small window. It turns out that this "care section" is a part of the family building. Just how rich are my parents, for real?
Wait can I even call them my parents??
I glanced up at the television, the commercials calming me as I focused on something other than this bullshit of cards I've been dealt.
Brrrr
My attention turned to the direction of the vibration, my eyes landing on a sleek black phone. I picked up the phone, answering without looking at the contact.
"Hello?" I answered, my voice raspy due to the sickness and not speaking.
"I heard you were sick. Take your medicine and don't make any trouble for the family. You're sixteen now, in a week you'll be going to the academy. You won't live with us anymore, do you get it?" A deep baritone intoned, stating this as if he was reading a report at work.
"As the third young master, you have responsibilities even if you're not the heir. You must learn at the academy and uphold the Grey family morale." He said, his fingers clicking over the phone, mind wandering
"I look forward to seeing your improvement. Mom and Dad are overseas and are aware. I'll have Doe complete some extra etiquette classes before you go. Be good, my youngest brother." Click.
The call ended without me being able to get a single word in. Why does everyone just talk to themselves and think Teivel had nothing to say? It's up to me to speak for him now.
The door swung open, leather shoes stepping onto the laminate floor, long legs sporting black pants with a tan cashmere sweater. A small badge the shape of the cloud was pinned to the sweater, the three blue dots signifying his rank as a Grey family servant.
Mr. Doe.
**
"What did you learn today, Third Young Master?" Mr. Doe asked.
My legs were stinging, a heavy dictionary on the top of my head, the whip cracking every single time the book became unsteady. The burning pain stung, my skin peeling, new bruises and cuts forming over the old ones.
I of course, did not answer. I will keep the original owners intent of silent rebellion.
Crack
"I will tell you again. Third Young Master, do not go to that school claiming to Grey name. You are not the heir, Eldest Young Master is. You must not behave like a hooligan, live your life as pristine as this whip, do you understand, little third?" He said, the whip cracking once again.
"Undress," he ordered. I grit my teeth, my jaw clenching in resistance. I took off my clothes, only my undershirt and undergarments remaining.
"I will recite the rules one more time, Third Young Master. You must listen, and you must repeat. Understand?"
Crack
I groaned, the whip hitting my torso.
Crack
"Rule number one:
Be respectful. Acknowledge others' qualities and boundaries, and respect their privacy. Dont be a pest and annoy people.
Crack
Rule number two:
Be considerate: Understand others' needs and rights. Yours are not important.
Crack
Rule number three:
Be honest: Act with sincerity and integrity. Hide those disgusting eyes."
After about three hours of reciting the Grey family etiquette, I limped my way to my room, opting to crawl up my stairs on all fours, climbing into bed and falling asleep.
I have to do these lessons twice a day for the next five days. Day six I pack and day seven I'll arrive at school. I need to come up with a plan by then.
My mind raced with scenarios, a crooked smile appearing once I decided on a plan.
Let's play.
