Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Ah! Roomies.

After placing my blanket and pillow on the bed, I opened a window. I was already trying to think of how to start off my plan, but I think I have an idea. I lay in my bed with the cold breeze hitting my face, my blanket lay folded at the foot of the bed. My head went dark, and time froze as I fell into a fitful nap.

It was dark, and I could hear the sound of crying. In a small dark closet, there was a small boy curled up, holding his knees. He was shivering, his legs bare and bruised.

Why me? What did I do? I don't want to be heir!

Sniffle, I just want to be happy. I love my big brother and I wouldn't take what he wants from him.

The crying never stopped, the dream an endless stream, with this broken boy stuck on replay. It just wouldn't stop, over and over and over and over.. it's insanity.

The dorm room door opened with a click, and a pair of footsteps entering.

"Hello?" A clear, warm voice called out.

Thwack! "Ouch! What the heck was that for?!" The voice yelled. "What did you punch me for? I'm was checking if the new roomie arrived." He puffed his cheek out, his fair skin blushing with anger. His sandy brown hair was like pepper, his brown eyes complimenting him.

"He could be asleep, you know. Who knows how far he traveled? Be smart, Bell." The other boy responded, clearly wronged, ah.

"Tsk.. well, let's go see." Bell responded, "Come on Leo, let's go see. The door is open, he should be inside, right?" Leo stared at Bell, his golden eyes locking onto his. His golden hair under his beanie stuck out a bit, the cold look in his eyes contrasting.

Without waiting for a proper response, Bell grabbed Leo's shoulder, yanking him through the living room to the open bedroom doorway. Bell popped his head in real quick, and seeing his roommate asleep, his cheeks puffed out, resembling a Quokka.

"See, I told you…" Leo started off, but when he looked a bit closer, he walked straight into the room, looking down at Teivel. He placed the back of his hand on his forehead, heat burning at the soft touch. "Bell, go get the medicine bag in my bathroom, okay? And a water bottle, bowl of warm water and a rag." Bell stared at Leo with wide eyes, rushing to grab everything.

Leo: Σ(`L_` )

Teivel: (っ- ‸ - ς)ᶻ 𝗓

When I opened my eyes, something felt completely different. My body felt clean, although I still felt tired, I didn't feel any discomfort. Looking over at the now closed window, I couldn't help but smirk.

"Good afternoon," a clear voice rang out, accompanied by a hurried sandy haired kid. His brown eyes were open as wide as possible, reminding me of those cats on the notebooks we used in grade school. His eyelashes are so long, how can this be? Why is it not my eyelashes instead, ah?

Amidst my envious self banter, two soft and cool hands kneaded into my cheeks, snapping my focus back, my hazel eyes meeting his brown eyes. I could see his pupils contracting when he introduced himself as Bell, his chest raised proudly as he told the story of how my other roommate and he found me and cared for me. "I didn't leave for the last 14 hours! I can afford to miss class, but Leo is a scholarship student so he went to school and then work." He said. He sat down on the side of the bed, holding my hand, and his face became complicated, his features twisting. I already knew my plan worked but damn, this is quick isn't it?

"And I.. and I.. well, I" Bell coughed, "I wiped your body down and changed your sheets and clothing too, so, um.. if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here; okay?" He chattered nervously, his sole reason for mentioning this to let Teivel know he did touch his body… he should have just let him wonder, damn!

I looked up at Bell, and grinned. "I'm okay, thank you for helping me. I almost feel completely better" I patted his hand, my eyes curving up in little smiles… then my stomach growled.

"Here, there's some porridge in the soup container, and the pitcher of water is yours. I would say good morning, but you woke up after five in the afternoon. So, good evening roomie. I'll see you tomorrow for class. You missed the first day and all, so maybe you should just… smile at the teachers okay?" Bell instructed on his way out, the tip of his ears pink.

I quickly ate the food left for me, drinking as much water as I could without bloating. I showered once again, finding some ointment and bandaged on the bathroom counter. I used the ointment on my lower arms, leaving only the rest completely untreated.

It sucks, and it hurts, the pain of moving and bending over is extreme, I sighed to myself. But I have to do it to take revenge.. I lay down in my bed, the fresh laundry scent surrounding me. I bundled under the bed, falling into a deep, content sleep.

I woke up feeling refreshed, and with a sore stretch, I was up for the day. I brushed my teeth, and styled my hair. I have a routine I did back in my previous life, and it's followed me over. I always wake up two or three hours earlier so that I can get ready without any problems… I shower before I head outside everytime, complete with a seven step skincare set. I make sure my nails are clean and trimmed, and my skin is properly moisturized. In short, I strive for a clean look.

The uniform consisted of grey corduroys, with a off white collar shirt under a tan pleated cashmere vest and white neckerchief. Looking at myself in the mirror, I look quite good huh? Maybe just smiling will work like Bell said? I packed my bag for school, a three subject notebook, pens, pencils, erasers, and three water bottles. I made up my bed, setting out my clothes for when I return. I made sure to walk quietly, heading out onto campus, following the map to my first class.

Mathematics, ugh.

>Bell wants Teivel's smile while Teivel envies Bell's eyelashes. Isn't that cute?

>I hate math myself…
