Vincent who still can't put a finger on what he is feeling now called his mother. "Mum, Akwasi would be coming over tomorrow for few days. I hope you don't mind" Vincent asked his mother who was happy to know Akwasi is coming. She gladly accepted and decided to hold a welcome party for him.
Jae Won knows Mrs Gladys would actually hold a small party to welcome Akwasi as she did for him. This was why even before Vincent informed his mother, Jae Won made Claudia invite Isabella.
Vincent feeling unease about the behavior Jae Won had been showing lately, he needed something cold to drink as he thought he could feel better. He entered the living room and saw only Wendell playing on his phone. He went straight ahead into the kitchen, took a whole bottle of cold water but that uneasy feeling was still lingering.
He then decided to go take a swim without even climbing up to take his swim suits. Vincent just went to the swimming pool and undressed leaving his inner wear and dive straight into the pool without much thought. He swam for a while when he noticed the servant searching for something.
Vincent was about to go ask her when he saw Jae Won approached the servant and after a few seconds, he started helping the woman to search for her lost item. He kept quiet as he watched them searching for it till Jae Won came closer to the pool.
Vincent thought Jae Won would see him but who was he kidding. He watched Jae Won as he was searching for the item and didn't even see him in the pool. He had wanted to talk to get the attention of this blind person till he took something from the side of the pool and started laughing as if he had entered the gate of heaven.
He then kept quiet and watched the scene as it unfolds. Vincent saw the servant crying and Jae Won consoling her snapped something in him. He was angry, as for that Vincent knows but he brushed off that feelings he didn't understand. 'Why wouldn't he console me too when I'm angry' he thought as hell Jae Won knew.
Vincent cleared his throat deeply as he can when he saw Jae Won hugged her when she started crying. He got their attention this time as they all turned to look at him. He felt a sense of achievement when they did expecting the servant to back off. Vincent glared at the servant in a way the servant knew she was not welcome at that particular time. "I will take my leave now" she said as she bowed before she left.
"So this is where you've been when I've been searching for you" Jae Won said as he walked slowly towards Vincent who was in the pool while smiling. As Vincent was still in the pool, the sunlight dancing across his chiseled features like a Greek god. With his dark skin sparkling with droplets of water showcasing on his body as it caught the sunlight, the definition of his muscular physique making Jae Won blushed as he couldn't take his eyes off Vincent almost falling off into the pool as he maintained his balance and walked towards Vincent.
Vincent rose from the pool as his broad shoulder and a powerful chest slimmed down to a lean, athletic waist creating a stunning V-shape making Jae Won grasp for air just staring at it again for the second time "I don't see you workout but you have a great body" he said when he got closer to Vincent.
Vincent rolled his eyes and shook his head as he went back to the pool "you sleep like a pregnant fish. How can you see me when I work out" Vincent said but he was met with a splashed of water which Jae Won did. "What are you doi…" but he was cut off before he could finish his sentence when another water was splashed on his way, this time he dodged.
Vincent turned to look at Jae Won who was squatting at the edge of the pool. As Jae Won gaze on Vincent who was struck with the same water he was in, Jae Won sticked out his tongue to mock Vincent.
"Oh really, you've got to be kidding me" Vincent asked in a playfully manner as he walked towards Jae Won who was squatting at the edge of the pool. "Do I look like I'm kidding?" He said and stick out his tongue again. This time Vincent didn't let Jae Won off, he pulled Jae Won towards him making him fall into the pool with his full cloth on.
"What's that for" Jae Won said as he open his mouth wide in a surprise way. "This is the consequences for mocking me" Vincent said as he splashed water on Jae Won already wet clothes. Their pool scene play had begin.
As Vincent and Jae Won frolicked in the pool, they regressed to their childhood selves laughing and shouting like kids on summer break grabbing the attention of the servants who rushed out to see what has happened only to be met with two grown ass men playing like kids. "These two always act they are in their own world" the older servant among them said as he went back to do what he was doing. They all went back to their work shaking their head in disbelief of what they had just seen.
Vincent attempted to sneak up on Jae Won and dunk him underwater. Jae Won who had noticed Vincent intentions, countered with a hot powerful splash sending Vincent stumbling backwards. Jae Won laughed hysterically "I'm faster than flash" he said.
They continued to play in the pool, Vincent attempted to do a backflip off the side of the pool but ended up belly flopping with a resounding splat. Jae Won burst out laughing so hard he was holding his stomach in pain "that was so professional, Mr Vincent, the swimmer!" he exclaimed as Vincent surfaced grinning from ear to ear "of course, number one" he said it in the Twi.
The two servant who was mowing the lawn that was a little close to the pool couldn't help but smile at the two grown men acting like kids. It made them travel back to their youth. As Vincent and Jae Won climbed out of the pool, exhausted and exhilarated, Vincent turned to Jae Won and said "you do realize we're never too old for this right".
Jae Won nodded in agreement and smiled so beautifully he didn't want this thing he has with Vincent to never end. They both collapsed onto the pool deck soaking up the sun and enjoying each other's company.
Vincent loved this feeling he had whenever he was close to Jae Won, the feeling of freedom and being wanted by someone not because of your wealth or anything. As they lied on the deck of the pool and enjoying each other's company, Jae Won asked a difficult question that has been bugging him ever since he realized his feeling for Vincent.
"Why have you been single for almost three years?" Jae Won asked while he turned to his side to look at Vincent. Vincent also turned his head to meet the beautiful eyes that was gazing at him with curiosity and feelings he didn't know the meaning. "Nothing, just haven't met the right person yet" Vincent responded turning his head back to its original position looking at the beautiful blue sky.
"Oh come on, you definitely have another reason" Jae Won said as he scratched at the back of his head feeling anxious. "I think I'm just afraid of what kind of girl I might meet. What if she is the worst or even…" Vincent said as he let out a deep breath "more devilish than the devil himself".
Jae Won moved a little close to Vincent as he put his head on the muscular body of Vincent. "What do you think of same sex relationships" Jae Won fired the cannon at Vincent. Vincent kept quiet for a long time before he responded "I've never thought much about it. Anytime I hear such things, I didn't see any bad thing about it. I mean all love is love right. Men and men, women and women, men and women or even those who can't love at all, at least they love themselves".
Jae Won who was listening attentively almost shed his tears as he managed to keep them in stored. "Would you ever date a man?" Jae Won asked again. He was so scared of what Vincent answered could be, 'what if….' but his thought was interrupted when Vincent responded to his question.
"I don't know but if it happened, then I guess I must have genuine feelings for this man". Jae Won turned quickly after Vincent responded to his question, with that answer, Jae Won thought he had a chance and hoped Vincent would like him romantically.
"If you were to date a man, what kind of person would you be looking for?" Jae Won asked.
