*After few weeks*
"Tanvi is really improving! Now we came to know why she had become like this. She had seen a girl get raped and murdered and I am sure the same people might have tried to kill Tanvi too but instead she lost her memory. Her subconscious mind might have imagined the girl. Now because she remembers the incident she can recover quickly", the psychiatrist explained to Tanvi's parents.
"Thank you very much, doctor. Now Tanvi can come home soon!" exclaimed her father. "My darling! She had suffered so much! We didn't even know that she had to go through so much at that night! We will report it to the police, right?" asked her mother. "Of course we will! My daughter had gone through so much and God knows what happened to the girl she saw!" remarked her father.
The newspapers have started covering the whole story and had been trying to get interviews of Tanvi. However, the doctor didn't allow her to leave the hospital as the recent regain of memory had been a shock to her.
"If I was really imagining her how in the world did I come to know her name as Anannya?" thought Tanvi. She still couldn't believe that all those moments with Anannya were not real. "It felt so real… I still don't know to cook so many items then how did I eat all those delicious foods that I thought Anannya was making?" such other thoughts were running through Tanvi's head day and night. Days passed without her talking to anyone.
One night Tanvi woke up as she felt that someone was nudging her but when she looked around there was no one. She went back to sleep but she felt someone's presence and she woke up and looked around there was no one. Wait! There is someone in the corner of her dark room. Her heart beat raised she was scared. "How can someone enter her room so silently? And it's no doctor!" she thought. "Who is it?" she asked even though she was frightened. "It's me", came a familiar sounding voice. "No! It can't be… it can't be…. Anannya…tell me the truth who are you? You can't be Anannya… she died… why did you come to me? How did you get in?!" Tanvi bombarded it with questions.
"I am Anannya… I mean I was Anannya… I am a spirit Tanvi…", replied the shadow as she revealed her face. Tanvi saw her but she didn't believe it this time and thought, "No I am imagining it again… a spirit? Really? No it can't be…It's just an imagination…" and closed her eyes hoping it would go away, but it didn't, instead it came near Tanvi and held her hands.
Tanvi freaked out. She shivered as the cold hands touched her. "Tanvi… please listen to me once. You are not crazy. I was a ghost when you first met me "Then how come only I could see you?" questioned Tanvi. "The reason no one else but you could see me or know me is because you were the last person I saw before I died!" Tanvi was shocked. "Please don't be frightened of me. I had never hurt you and I will never hurt you. I know what you are thinking. Yes, I am the same girl you have seen being murdered. I will tell you what happened and why I deceived you into thinking I am a human if you will be patient enough to listen."
Tanvi just stared at the black void sitting in front of her. She couldn't react to what was happening! "A spirit? a ghost? Is it true? Am I imagining again? What if it is true?" she thought. "ok! I will listen to you. Please tell me everything", she finally agreed. "My name is Anannya-as you already know-I was also a simple teenager like you. I have a loving family. My family included my mom, dad and my dad's younger brother and his family. My uncle has a 2-year-old son, Chinnu. Everyone in my home loved me especially my uncle. My uncle didn't have chinnu till late in to the marriage so he loved me like his own daughter. Even after Chinnu's birth that love didn't decrease. But someone didn't like this happiness I guess…" "What happened?" probed Tanvi.
