From then Tanvi tried hard to remember the incident. Sensing that something was bothering her, the psychiatrist asked her. But Tanvi cannot tell them the truth. They would never believe her. So, she just said, "I feel like there's something missing from that day, so I'm trying to remember it." "Don't stress yourself so much Tanvi. I'm sure it's nothing important."
That night she slept and was slipped back to the day… the forest… the girl… the screams… the car… the camera… Yes! I remember! I wasn't running away… I ran towards the camera… I took it and hid it in the bushes… but I removed the stick… I hid the memory card inside a tree… just before running on to the highway…
The next morning, she anxiously waited for Anannya to return. But it was the police who have come. Apparently, the doctor told them that Tanvi is trying to remember something else… and they wanted to know it immediately.
She told them about the memory stick and offered to show them… this would help Anannya get justice… Also, hopefully she would still be there looking for it.
The media has gone crazy with the story… every media channel was present there to uncover the truth…
They reached the forest and as expected Anannya was floating from tree to tree… She stopped when she saw Tanvi and the police reach there…
She asked, "What are you doing here?! Did you remember?"
"No!" "What?! Then what is going on here?!" "Just trust me!"
"Who are you talking to?" asked the DCP. "No one", she said as they run to hide behind the bushes!
"What's going on?! Why are you hiding?" Anannya sounded confused.
"Shhh. Wait and watch" she said. "Girl! You need to be quiet!" whispered the DCP.
They were hiding opposite to a tree on the highway. Soon enough a man in a hood came towards the tree. The man stealthily started searching the tree. A gust of wind blew his hood off.
Both Tanvi and Anannya stared wide-eyed. "That's him officer! That's him", screamed Tanvi and the DCP and other policemen immediately caught him. "Anannya! That's your 6th murderer!" "I WILL KILL HIM!!!" screamed Anannya but Tanvi held her back. "Stop! Anannya! Let him serve in jail. Don't kill him please!"
The police by then took him to the Police vehicle. "Let me go Tanvi!" "No! I can't!" As the van started moving she screamed, "How could he do this to me?!"
"You mean… you know him?" asked Tanvi. "Yes! He was my… (sob)… uncle… the same uncle who I loved so much… (sob)…who said that he loved me so much… How could he….?! (sob)…." She cried.
"In that case let him confess Anannya and then… you can haunt him for life…" said Tanvi with conviction.
