Chapter 1 - Strangers

It was a dark evening where two adults met in a club. They were very young and vibrant—no care in the world. Neither one knew who the other was until they decided to speak finally.

"Hey, Justice, was it?" The man pauses. "I saw you dancing from across the bar and wanted to say hi." He finishes.

"Um..." The woman begins as she looks up and down at the man in street clothes. "How did you know my name?" She asks, waiting for the bartender to serve her the shots that she asked for.

"I told him" A woman mentions as she walks up to the two people with a sneaky smile on her face.

"Gen, I thought it was just supposed to be you and me tonight," I tell her as I look at her with a little bit of anger.

"I know what you said." Gen begins. "But, it has been 3 years since you dated that one loser in highschool and I think you should at least try to talk to this guy." She continues. "He seems kinda nice, right?" She asks, rhetorically.

"Fine, I shall." The woman begins. "But, you owe me big time, Gen," She finishes.

"Whatever you say, Justice," Gen says.

Justice rolls her eyes as she looks back to the man. "I guess we can talk for a minute," Justice says with a small smile.

"I didn't know you guys knew each other..." The man says, confusedly.

"You sure? Because she literally told you my name," Justice says with a little sass.

"I meant, I didn't know that you two were very close." He fixes his sentence.

"Oh." Justice pauses. "Well, yeah," she continues. "She's my best friend, we have known each other since high school." She finishes.

"Oh. Well, that's pretty cool," He says.

"Yeah, I guess," Justice says. "She can be a little much, but I gotta love her," She finishes.

"That's sweet that you guys' friendship is so strong," The man says.

"Yeah," Justice says before realizing something. "That reminds me, I never got your name," Justice says.

"Oh, right." The man begins. "My name is Kevin Wright," He finishes.

"Well, nice to meet you, Kevin," Justice says.

For the rest of the night at the bar, the two talked to each other and drank with each other. Eventually, Gen ended up leaving the bar after letting Justice know. Justice and Kevin ended up staying at the bar until it closed at midnight.

"So, what should we do now?" Kevin asks after they step out of the closed bar.

"I'm not sure. I mean we've been speaking all night about random and fun topics." Justice says. "I think Gen made a great decision having us hang out for a little bit," She finishes.

"You're right." Kevin begins. "I'm going to be honest with you..." He says. "This is the most fun that I have had in a long time." He finishes.

"Oh yeah?" Justice says. "Is it because you got a break from work or is it because of the company that you had?" She asks.

"I'm going to choose the company," Kevin says. "It really has been fun just talking about random things with you." He says.

"I'm not gonna lie..." Justice begins. "I loved the company too," a small blush spreads across her cheeks.

"I'm glad to hear that," Kevin says, noticing the blush.

"Well," Justice pauses. "I guess I better head home," She says.

"I could always take you," Kevin says.

"No, you can't... You drank." Justice says.

"I only had two shots of whiskey and the rest has been seltzer water." He says.

"Oh. Well then that would be awesome," Justice says.

"Okay, well then hop in," Kevin says while pointing at his black Ford truck.

"Oh, thank you." She says as she gets into the truck.

"So where do you live?" Kevin asks her as he begins to drive.

As Justice tells him her address, he remembers the night that they had and feels full of happiness.

"Oh here it is," Justice says before Kevin parks his truck in her driveway. "Thank you for the ride," Justice says as she collects her purse and opens her door.

"Justice..." Kevin begins as he watches her collect her items.

"Yes, Kevin?" Justice looks at him.

Before Justice could say anything else, Kevin kissed her lips softly with desire. As the kiss deepened, they both felt even more desire than before.

The door slammed shut as the two of them let their impulses get the best of them inside of the truck.

"Kevin," Justice moans as the front door of the house opens.

"Justice," Kevin moans as his active body finishes.

"No," Justice says as Kevin gets off.

As soon as Kevin noticed the older man standing in the doorway of the house, his eyes widened.

"Um..." Kevin begins his sentence. "Who is that?" Kevin asks, nervously.

"That's my father," Justice says, stuttering a bit.

"Your father?" Kevin says, shocked. "Um- how old are you?" Kevin asks, still nervous.

"I'm 19," Justice says, looking toward Kevin.

"Well, I had a great night or whatever, but I just..." Kevin's mind was racing. "I need to go," He says while motioning for Justice to get out of the truck.

The night went haywire while Kevin was confused and Justice was getting raved at for her decisions that night.
