The lights buzzed inside the locker room the room illuminating the uncomfortable room. Ethan, a young, left wing rookie, with black hair but bright red highlights in the back of his hair, he has some muscle on his arms, visible thigh and calf muscles. He sat on the bench listening to the coach who's a white, middle aged man, with blonde hair and green eyes speak about the plans of how he should volley or short passing to the Striker, Alejandro. Ethan sighed once more knowing the plans usually are countered or just fails. He turns to Deshawn he's a substitute forward. Deshawn is a tallish light skin man, with long curly hair that he keeps tied up so it doesn't get in his face. He sees Deshawn sighing once more, Ethan whispers to deshawn "Deshawn, at this point we won't make it this year should I try a new plan and just at least try to get a goal or some form of hope to continue." Deshawn thought about it, he put his towel down on his lap and then nodded to Ethan. The coach then claps and says enthusiastically "Listen guys I know we didn't have a good year but listen I still believe that this team can at least pull something off, we can continue to at least try to improve out abilities." The players stand up and go through the tunnel. Ethan himself feels worried, not about winning, but about the change he wants to admit, the feeling he is having, he hasn't felt it sense last year when he joined the team. He wants to show that the coach was full of pure lies and uselessness. As they line up on the field as they are facing a team called Blueline Kings, their jerseys are a smooth blue with a hint of a goldish color of the outline while Ethan's team IronHaven United with a White jersey with silver stripes going through it. The National anthem plays Ethan and other players hold their hands to their chest, Ethan is already sweating, panicking even, he hasn't really thought of attempting to be the spotlight, in Ethan's head his goal was to make the spark for the team again no matter the cost. After standing for the anthem everyone got into their positions, luckily we start with the ball, Alejandro quickly passes it to Ethan, which is unorthodox for most starts. Ethan quickly took possession of the ball and started to dribble it to near edge of the field being careful that he doesn't get tackled or push it out of bounds, a player named Steven attempted to block Ethan's way. Ethan didn't stop his momentum he uses both of his feet to grasp the ball and slightly hops and flicks the ball over both of them. As Ethan already had the momentum to go around Steven, Steven turns immediately to get possession but unfortunately for him Ethan out paces him and recovers the ball, as draws closer to the corner, he sees Alejandro already waving for a pass, Ethan was running until he slams his left foot down and brings his right leg back and hits the ball with the lateral side of his foot, the ball soared into the air. As Alejandro gets ready he notices the ball was curving towards the goal, the goalkeeper attempting to reach the top corner but the ball started to drop down making the goalkeeper's attempt futile. As then Ethan watches the ball go through the net, he then hears an air horn blast, people start to celebrate, his teammates go up to him and huddle up jumping, Ethan sees Deshawn, he was smiling, happiest he's ever seen Deshawn in his starting soccer career, as the celebration ends. The substitute board was raised it was Ethan's number which was 22 and 36 which is a French man named Theo, he has a clean cut beard and slicked back hair, Ethan didn't really talk to him due to his strong accent. Ethan goes up to the coach, confused and slightly angered. He asks slightly raising his voice "Coach what are you doing i just scored why did you take me out?" The coach clenching his board and looks at Ethan dead in the eyes and yells,"Ethan, you did not stick to the plans! It doesn't matter if you scored or hell even did bicycle kick with it. You needed to follow a plan for Alejandro, you are running passing until you can't walk or stand anymore you got that!" Mid way the coach was having spit come out of his mouth as he's flailing his arms in anger and disappointment. Ethan sits down on the bench taking a drink from his bottle. A substitute named Marco pats him on the back and says, "that was a fantastic goal, and honestly I hope you get another chance at that moment again." Ethan listened to Marco's words as they both watched the team starting to fail and crumble, Alejandro not making quick enough shots or not getting possession quick enough. Defenders are getting dribbled by to easily to the point it's sad to watch. And the goalkeeper tries to stop any shots but unfortunately fails by pressure. We finally make it to half time, The IronHaven United has 1 goal while the Blueline Kings has 2 goals. Ethan has to watch another humiliation of the team once more, but he's happy at least he put the team to one, Ethan sees Deshawn when the halftime is almost over, he looks pissed, as the ref blows the whistle, everyone got back on the field and got into their positions once more, Alejandro passes the ball to Theo, he takes the ball almost copying Ethans strategy, but he's slower than Ethan, when Steven was faced against Theo, Steven attempted to take the ball away from Theo by trying to kick it behind him. Theo manged to tap the ball away and avoid Steven, Theo Is pushing his limits to get on the position for the coach wants him to do this volley. As Ethan is watching this he sees Deshawn start to rush near Alejandro's position, when Theo lobbed from the corner, Alejandro leaps attempting to head the ball in. It fell short but Deshawn when he was rushing to his position he leaps into the air to then head the ball making contact it proceeds towards the goal, the goalkeeper was unexpected by this and saw the ball was going low by the time he managed to try to swat the ball away it already crossed the line. As Deshawn leaps into the air and the air horn blows declaring his goal, Ethan starts clapping for him, he then sees the coach throw his clipboard onto the ground. And go to the substitute board and request number 12 which was Deshawn and the other number was 11 his name is Parker, he's kinda the lazy but get things done type essentially the joker card, he has black hair going down his neck that's tied to a bun. As the game continued the time is currently 89 minutes, Ethan was looking at Deshawn argue with the coach when he looks backed saw Alejandro gets the ball token from him, but Parker was fast enough to tackle the opponent and recover possession, Parker dashes out of his ordinary position. Alejandro yelling at him to pass and the timer reaching to an extra minute on the board, Parker stops in his tracks gaining the distance almost inside the penalty area, he sees an opponent attempting to sacrifice and tried to slide tackle him, Parker then pops the ball up, he turns fully facing away the goalkeeper and jumps, leaning back, his eyes on the ball as the world invert for him. Rising one of his legs over his head kicking the ball only with the tip of his foot. the ball was shot towards the goal, people stunned as Parker just did a bicycle kick, the goalkeeper managed to tip the ball but in result it bounced back in, as parker falls and lands on his arms, he gets up and bows to the audience people cheer in amazement and scream his name. making the the IronHaven United have 3 goals in total while Blueline Kings only having 2 goals. As they set up for the next kickoff, the opponent just passed it to Steven and the whistle blows to show the game is over. Ethan is happy the team won after a 4 game losing streak, every player went through their designated tunnels and went back to their locker rooms, as Ethan and everyone else cools off and drinks either cold water or healthy energy drinks, Ethan is sitting down on a stool wondering how this will effect the team, he stands up and the coach grabs him by the shoulder and whispers "if that happens again you won't be put on the starting you got that, you are just a rookie, now stick to the plans." Ethan gets angry and moves away from the coach for the rest of the time. They all get on the team bus. Ethan sits next to Parker and right across from the side is Deshawn with headphones on. Parker is currently reading something, Ethan asks "how did you do that kick?" Parker looks at him and says tiredly "a lot of flexibility practice just to get your leg to get that high, and then the accuracy and determination is mostly from heart or a little training from accuracy. I don't care if others know how to do it as long as I get to rest more I'm fine with it." As then Parker turns his phone off. Ethan turns his phone on and checked the KickLine news, and he sees many more famous team highlights, though he does see a report that says "IronHaven United wins by 1 goal against the Blueline Kings, will this be a turn around" as the cover is Parker mid way of his bicycle kick. Ethan turns his phone off starts to fall asleep and listen to the music the bus plays
