Mom wanted me to apologize but I couldn't bring myself to do that, moreover I didn't know if her apology was sincere or...
"Nelisa, you could maintain a quiet dining atmosphere with just an apology"dad said with a pat on my back. He was aware of everything that was going on and had not spoken until now. Immediately dad said that, Eliana's lips curved into a smirk.wait a sec!does she think I was actually gonna apologize....
"I'm sorry Eliana"I found myself already apologizing in a cold tune. I just couldn't disrespect my parents, especially my dad.I understand that mom was trying to make up for all the lost time but she's actually making me a villain here! I can't even stand those pretentious eyes of hers anymore. I felt the corners of my eyes tearing up but I still couldn't lose face to her
"I think my presence is no longer appreciated here. Enjoy your meal" I said while excusing myself.i just couldn't hold back my tears. What was I actually crying for ? I suddenly realized after bouncing into my bed. I don't care if mom prefers her to me but it isn't fair and I'm not being jealous but....I envied her a bit. If she didn't sundenly appeared would I have continued my normal life. I just needed some time to realize that Eliana had come to stay and Steal our parents love. But why would she do that, it wasn't my fault she got lost so,why is she taking revenge on me?I wish I could go back to my perfect life.
I'm Nelissa jayson by the way,the
Only...the first daughter of the Jayson's family which I found out not long ago my lost twin sis was found. My father, the CEO of Jayson's cooperation and at the same time a lovely father has a tall handsome frame and masculine features, always looking confident and self assured while mom was a gentle soul with a warm and generous heart. She has wavy long hair that complimented her hourglass shape which we(I &Eliana) both inherited from her. Even with the fact that was kind and warm, she's also bold and do love being the centre of attention_not anymore anyway
.Recently the media has been buzzing about Eliana and most of the comments were favourable to Eliana but I could possibly use that to my advantage just in case. But for now I'll keep a low key and see what Eliana is up to.

As I looked at the dishes in front of me, it was so much what I wanted, but it was just okay. We were having cereal for breakfast - it was oatmeal accompanied by strawberries, an avocado toast with poached eggs and cherry tomatoes with spinach, and lastly, coffee. I picked up my cutlery and quietly ate my meal. "Manners, please. This is a dining room, not a conference hall," Dad called out to Eliana. "But, darling, she has a lot to say," Mom said in defense of Eliana. "Whatever she has to say could probably wait, but the conference can't!" Dad said, raising his voice a little bit. "But, Dad..." Eliana was about to protest, but Dad shut her up.
"Do you really think you can question my authority?" Dad shouted at Eliana. His face grew red in fury, and I watched as Eliana slightly shivered and bowed her head. "Honey, that's too much," Mom said, patting Eliana, who was sobbing. "Uh?" I said quietly, watching how it all unfolded. Dad just stood there, staring hard at Mom. "I'm leaving," he said and turned to leave with his PA accompanying him. Mom also stood up and hurriedly drank a glass of milk. She pecked Eliana on the forehead. "Bye, girls," Mom said, walking towards the exit staircase. "Lisa, you could do Eliana some good by lending her one of your uniforms, just for today." Really, my uniform? I do have a lot of uniforms I haven't worn, but lending Eliana one? Fine, I'll just do that. I stood up, excusing myself from the dining room.
As I made my way to my bedroom, I couldn't help but wonder what the rest of my day would be like, especially with Eliana around. How would her presence change the classroom atmosphere? Would she threaten my position? I couldn't stop thinking, and I bumped into Britney. "I'm sorry, miss," she said, looking at me with concern, but I seemed absent-minded. "Are you alright?" "I? Me? ...oh well...yeah! I think I might be okay!" I replied, walking towards my mom's room, still deeply in thought.
"Might?" Britney called out, awakening me from my thoughts as I turned to look at her. "I'm not really sure, ma'am. You need to restrain yourself from too much thinking," I said, collecting my backpack. "Thanks, Brit. Could you please give Eliana a uniform?" "I'll take it from here. Bye," I said, and we parted ways.
We had a quiet journey to school. As soon as we alighted, Eliana said excitedly, "I can't wait to have all eyes on me." "We'll see about that," slipped out of my tongue. Oops! I wasn't jealous, was I? We parted ways, and I was soon joined by Nathan, Christoph, Karen, and Nora.
"Hey, babe," Nathan greeted me with a peck on my cheek. "I'm fine. How was your night?" I asked, backing away while my hands slipped out of his. "Cool," he replied, smiling. "Hi, girl," they all greeted. "What's up, trio?" "We're cool. I heard that your long-lost twin sister was found?" Not this again! I found myself screaming in my head. "Oh, did you?" I said unconsciously. "Who didn't? I mean, it's all over the news. She's really beautiful," Nathan said with a hint of admiration in his voice.
I felt a surge of anger rushing into me, and I slipped my hands out of Nathan's, bidding them goodbye with the excuse of research. Eliana wasn't so far from the truth; even my boyfriend was already into her.
