Jay's pov.
She's been asleep for days since claiming us at least she is calm around us. It's hard to believe that this girl is basically feral but the fact that she doesn't know how to eat or talk properly. I've been sat watching her for the last hour trying to practice using chop sticks. It's kinda cute I can see how frustrating it is for her but she is keeping going. I don't think she likes us feeding her but she doesn't fight us. Maybe we should start doing something to educate her. They put some books in her room I should check and see what they have hang on if she can't feed herself can she even read.
" Rose do you know how to read" I ask she shacks her head.
" I thought not, would you like me to teach you how to" I ask she smiles at me nodding fast.
" okay I will look for some easy to read books for you" I tell her heading to the office space.
" maybe find a book to explain the coming of age ceremony and the God's as she will be having hers tomorrow and I don't think the Alphas have had time to tell her anything about it" Zane tells me.
" true she was asleep by the time they were coming back much to there dismay hehe there faces were priceless" Zak chuckles.
" Yeah that's true here this book should be easy for her to understand. It only tells you about the different ceremonies and the God's but it only has the upper ranked God's. Just tell her about the ceremony tomorrow we shouldn't go in to the rest yet. I get the feeling that the gods may want to introduce themselves to her " Zane says passing me a book.
I head back to see that she is still practicing hard maybe I should just wait for her to get fed up with trying. She is so cute when she is concentrating on something. There so going to be gutted not being able to feed her anymore once she's gotten the hang of it.
" hey sweet girl fancy going for a walk with us you have been asleep for days" Archer says as he walks in she nods and gets up to hug him.
" you guys want to come we were thinking of showing her around the pack" Archer says as he picks her up.
" yeah that sounds good" Zane answers him.
We head out Archer and Blake on either side we following in order keeping close eye for threats. It won't be long until she can go out on her own well never alone but she won't know that. We make it down town the market is busy today I can feel her nervousness and excitement. Red has gone off into the shadows Im starting to feel sorry for him not being able to be seen with her.
" is that a new female iv never seen her before she is beautiful" one of the male's whisper.
" she's with the Alphas do you think they found a mate. The other females are going to be pissed" another whispers.
Looking around I noticed every one is staring at her some happy some look angry. I wonder if they have females that had there eyes on the Alphas. They head in to the clothes shop we wait outside the market has gone back to normal.
" did you see the looks she was getting" Zane asks me
" yeah good and bad" I say.
" there will be trouble I can feel it the females of the pack might try to hurt her" Zak says.
" I don't see the point the Alphas won't be able to take another mate" I say
" they don't know yet that she is there mate remember so until that gets made public they will think they still have a chance" Zane reminds me.
Looking around I notice a crowd gathering coming this way.
" heads up Alphas got a crowd coming" I tell them in the mind link.
" Keep them out I don't want anything to scare her on her first trip out" Alpha Archer orders.
We stand to attention and guard the doors as the crowd gets closer we noticed three females leading there mates and the crowd for entertainment.
" you can not enter turn around" Zane orders
" we are here to see my mate move" one of the females bark.
"and who is your mate we will bring him out for you" Zak asks
" Alpha Blake" she smugly answers
" Alpha Blake there is a female claiming to be your mate here to see you" I tell him in mind link
" I don't think that he is your mate you are not entering" Zane tells her with a smirk.
Alphas Blake comes out with a very pissed off look on his face I try hard not to smirk.
" I don't even know you yet you claim to be my mate" he demands anger in his voice.
" you can't take that outsider as your mate you have to chose someone from this pack. We've been waiting for so long for yous to choose we won't stand for an this" she sketches.
" AND WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO TELL US WHO WE CAN AND CAN NOT TAKE AS OUR MATE" Alpha Blake yells releasing his aura struggling not to shift.
" we we are your pack we agreed not to push yous to choose but we won't let that thing take our place" she says shaking as she tries not to fold under the pressure.
" You have no say in who we choose to be ours no one has that right to choose other than us and if anyone ever insults or harms her they and there mates will have a fate worse than death. That is a promise I can guarantee" Alpha Archer says as they leave the store Rose hiding behind him.
We surround her trying to calm her feeling her fear is not nice. They don't speak again but I can see there anger the crowd backs off letting us leave.
