Chapter 15 - Chapter 5: How to deal with marketing.

The mage studied Ji-hye and Kashigami for a moment before speaking. "What is your relationship with your brother, Lady Ji-hye. He looks completely different than you" the mage asks.

Ji-hye hesitated.

"Oh, well, I'm not sure how to explain it. We aren't related, but we have a strong bond." Ji-hye answers.

"I see, what is the reason behind that?" the mage asks.

"It's difficult to explain. We just have a connection. I can't really explain it." Ji-hye admitted.

The mage nodded, intrigued.

"That is very interesting. Do you think he would be willing to talk to me?"

How the hell do I tell you "No because he is DUMB AS FUCK" Ji-hye kept a neutral expression and answered.

"No, I don't think so. He is very cautious of strangers. He would not trust you."

"That's too bad. He seems like a very interesting person." the mage frowned.

"Yes, he is." Ji-hye agreed.

"How old is your brother?"

"I'm not sure."

"What."

"Nothing."

"Interesting."

"Yes, it is." Ji-hye said, crossing her arms.

The mage leaned forward.

"Lady Ji-hye, I would like to invite you and your brother to the mage tower."

Ji-hye raised an eyebrow.

"Why would I want to do that?"

"Because I can help you. If you come with me, I can help you learn more about magic."

"I'm not interested." Ji-hye said flatly.

"Why not?

"Because I have no reason to."

"But I can help you." the mage insisted.

"How?"

"I can teach you spells."

Ji-hye let out a small laugh.

"I already know fireball, healing and summoning, what more could you teach me?"

"I can teach you spells that are much more advanced."

"Why would I need to learn them?" Ji-hye countered.

"Because you are powerful. The more spells you know, the more powerful you will be." the mage persisted.

Ji-hye sighed

"But I'm already strong."

"Yes, you are, but with my help, you could be even stronger." The mage's eyes glimmered with determination.

"I don't need your help." she replied, unimpressed.

"I think you do. With my help, you can become the most powerful mage in the world."

"I don't care about becoming the most powerful mage in the world." Ji-hye said bluntly.

"Maybe not now, but later on, you will."

Ji-hye narrowed her eyes.

"I doubt it."

"I want to help you. I want to help you reach your full potential." the mage explained.

"How are you going to do that?"

"While teaching you more advanced spells we'll be giving you magical artifacts."

Ji-hye scoffed.

"I don't need any of that. I can make my own magical artifacts."

"I'm sure you can, but I can provide them for you.

Ji-hye crossed her arms.

"Why do you want to help me?"

"Because I believe in you. Because I see potential in you."

Kashigami seeing how the mage is courting Ji-hye to join the mage tower

"I'll teach her don't worry"

The mage chuckled.

"I'm sure you can sir Kashigami, but with my help, she can become much stronger. She can become a great asset to our kingdom."

Ji-hye raised a finger to point at the mage.

"Our kingdom? You mean the mage tower." she questions him about her suspicion

"Yes, we can help each other. I can help you learn more spells. You can help us find new magical artifacts." the mage offered.

Ji-hye rolled her eyes.

"Again. I'm not interested. I can make my own magical artifacts."

The mage sighed

"But if you work for the mage tower, you will have access to our resources. You will have access to information that we have."

Ji-hye exhaled sharply.

"I'm not interested. I can learn those things on my own."

Ji-hye is slowly losing her patience.

"You may be able to, but it will take much longer. If you work for the mage tower, you will learn faster. You will be able to master spells in a matter of days."

Ji-hye's patience wore thin.

"I don't need to master spells in a matter of days. I'm already a powerful mage."

"Yes, you are, but if you join the mage tower, you will become much more powerful. You will become a force to be recko-"

Ji-hye loosing her patience turns her hand up to cast a water spell at the mage, a massive torrent of water is about to hit the mage, the mage realizing what is about to happen.

The mage's face went pale.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT??" the mage shouts.

Ji-hye smirked.

"Its a water spell, what do you think it is??" Ji-hye answers.

The mage casts a water barrier and Ji-hye bursts out laughing.

"THAT IS NOT HOW YOU CAST A WATER BARRIER!! THATS LIKE THE WORST WATER BARRIER I HAVE EVER SEEN!!" Ji-hye shouts.

"WHAT?" the mage yells.

"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME TO LEARN WATER MAGIC! SO HOW COME YOUR WATER BARRIER IS GOING WEAK?!?!?" she taunts the mage.

"WELL, IM SORRY LADY JI-HYE PLE-" the mage screams.

Ji-hye threw her hands up.

"SHUT UP IDIOT MAGE!"

"IM SORRY TO MAKE YOU ANGRY!" the mage replies.

"I'M JUST TRYING TO MAKE A POINT!" Ji-hye retorts.

The mage sputtered.

"LIKE IT'S NOT PERSONAL! I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU, AND YOU'RE TRYING TO KILL ME! LADY JI-HYE PLEASE CANCEL THE SPELL" the mage says while pleading.

Ji-hye rolled her eyes.

"OH, I'M NOT TRYING TO KILL YOU! IF I WANTED TO KILL YOU, I WOULD USE FIREBALL!"

The mage gulped.

"THAT'S NOT VERY REASSURING!" the mage shouts.

Ji-hye sighed.

"WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM ME?" Ji-hye screams.

"FOR YOU NOT TO TRY AND KILL ME!" the mage shouts.

"WHY WOULD I TRY AND KILL YOU?" Ji-hye screams.

Ji-hye finally canceled the spell, and the room fell into a tense silence.

She folded her arms.

"OK, LET'S START OVER. LET'S GO BACK TO BASICS. I DO NOT WANT TO JOIN THE MAGE TOWER."

The mage takes a deep breath.

"Ok, I understand. You are way powerful than us!"

Ji-hye smirked.

"YES, I AM, NOW STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME JOIN YOUR STUPID TOWER"

The mage held up his hands in surrender.

"Ok, Ok, but can you promise me one thing"

"What is it?" Ji-hye asked, coldly.

"If you ever need anything, come to the tower"

Ji-hye rolled her eyes.

"Fine, I will. Just leave me alone."

Kashigami leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "That was an interesting experience."

Ji-hye shot him a glare.

"Shut up Kashi."

Meanwhile the mage asks something on his mind....

"Lady Ji-hye....when you said fireball.....are you the one who-" the mage asks

"I AM NOT THE ONE WHO DID THAT"

"Ok, sorry for assuming that."

"DO NOT TALK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TODAY OR ELSE NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO FIND YOUR BODY EVEN IN HELL. Just leave before I teleport you to damnation! "

"I- I'm sorry my lady."

The mage left the room as soon as possible.
