In a world of vampires and werewolves, never crossing paths life has been good. Until one faithful night that will change and turn your world upside down. My name is Piper I am a single mother of two boys trying to make the best of the life that we have. Until one faithful night that will change my life forever. This is my story of how I went from ordinary to the Luna of all.
Rushing to get the kids up for school is always a challenge, Ryan age 5 loves it whereas Riley age 9 likes to drag his feet. I have Ryan at the table eating his breakfast, as I'm yelling up the stairs to light a fire under his ass. Riley we leave in ten mins and you still have not had breakfast. He yells down that he will eat at school and that I need to chill. Of this child will be the death of me.
In a hurry to get to school, because I myself will be late to see if I passed to start my residency. I am on my way to becoming a doctor and I could not be more excited. My first night at the hospital is in a couple of weeks and I am goin to nail it.
I rush into my professors office confidently, knowing that I have always been at the head of my class. She tells me to sit she looks somber. That makes me nervous. She hands me a packet of papers without saying a word, and then as if out of nowhere she starts to laugh as I read my results. I PASSED!! I had to make you sweat a little bit with a playful soil on her face. I shake her hand thanking her for everything. With that I am off like a dash needing to talk to my best friend Alex, who is a nurse at the hospital that I am about to work at.
We go for coffee talking about everything and all of life's plans. When Alex notices a man standing a crossed the street who seems to have his eyes glued to me. As I turn to face the mysterious man he is gone without a trace.
After hanging with Alex and hanging out for a couple of hours I am off to pick my boys up from school excited to tell them the good news. We get home to sit down for dinner I tell them the news and they are happy, we stay up eating ice cream and talking before we get settled down for bed.
I lay in bed that night just thinking of how far that I have come since starting this journey of becoming a doctor, taking it all in and wondering what awaits for my boys and I in the future.
Before I knew it a week had gone by and I was about to start a new and very exciting chapter in my life.
