I make my way to the kitchen following the smell of the food and my mate. When I enter the room I see my mate making a plate of food, also a she wolf that is at his Sid rubbing his back and talking so seductive to him. Without thinking a deep growl comes from within me, and using a tome that I never have before not even on my children I tell her to get away from my mate. She whips around in astonishment bows her head and obeys unwillingly. At the same time you see a sheepish grin run across your mates face before he asks if I am hungry, ravenous I reply as I make my way to the table as he brings me my food.
He sits next me watching me eat, I ask if he not going to eat. He just sits in silence watching my every move. After I am done eating he gently lifts my chin to meet his gaze, every hair on my body stands at the feeling of his touch. He looks at me with hungry eyes and without saying a word kisses the corner of my mouth, saying you had a little syrup left on your lip. My whole body is on fire at this point sparks are flying, and I want nothing more than for him to take me right there. Just as I am about to take the reins we are interrupted some man walks in the kitchen. Alpha there has been a breech on our territory. With that he stands up and mindlinks a girl named Athena. And without thinking I asked who Athena was, he looks at me with confusion because he didn't say anything. You could tell he wanted to ask how I knew what he said but he didn't with that he said I will be right back. Athena walked in and he said take care of her and do not let her out of your sight, and with that he was gone with the man that came and got him.
Athena came over to me so happy and chipper. I introduce myself, Hi my name is Piper I guess you are my bodyguard for the day. She laughs and says we are going to be such good friends. She says without breaking a stride let's go we are going shopping, we cannot have our future Luna dressed in rags. I freeze I didn't think about that before now…my mate is the Alpha!
I panic and say look I am grateful for everything whoever that man was saved me. She stops me and says that man is Alpha Enzo. Even his name has effect on me. I tell her that is besides the point , I have children that I have to get back to and I don't even know where I am or how long I have been gone.
She calms me down confused by the fact that I had children with someone other than my mate. So explain everything, how I was just an ordinary human woman with two little boys working becoming a doctor. On my first night of work on my way home I have an accident, that a strange man had been there and bit me, me being in the hospital, the deal my parents mad with a werewolf. Me lying there unable to say or do anything that had to do with my life. I told her once I got bitten by the wolf he took me and locked me away, and once my scent was released he started having people abuse me, called me an abomination and put that collar on so I was unable to defend myself.
I have known of your world of werewolves and vampires but I was not born into it, I was forced into it and ripped from my life, and now I am at a place where I have a mate and he is an Alpha. Does someone like me deserve to be your Luna when I was not born into this world? And all that I can think of is getting back to my children who need me now more than ever. With all of the attacks the other pack went through because they wanted me for themselves. I low I am the only one of my kind and that puts everyone around me in danger.
Athena is speechless and doesn't say a word. With all of my emotions coming out I did not know that I was glowing red nor did I realize that Alpha Enzo was at the door listening to every word I said.
What will he do know? Will he reject me? Kill me? Or except me as his mate and fight with me on what I am going to assume is going to be one hell of a bumpy ride.
