Juliet was typing away on her computer when she noticed a commotion at the reception area. She looked up to see a stunning woman, dressed in a sleek black dress, walking towards Leonard's office.
As the woman approached, Leonard emerged from his office, a bright smile on his face. "Ah, darling! What a lovely surprise."
The woman smiled, and Juliet couldn't help but notice the sparkle on her finger - a massive diamond ring.
"I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I'd drop by," the woman said, leaning in to kiss Leonard's cheek.
Juliet felt a pang of surprise, followed by a wave of jealousy. She had no idea Leonard was married.
As the woman turned to leave, her eyes met Juliet's. "And who's this?" she asked, her voice dripping with elegance.
Leonard smiled. "This is Juliet, my new secretary."
The woman's eyes narrowed slightly, and Juliet sensed a flicker of tension.
"Nice to meet you, Juliet," the woman said, her voice cool and yet mean.
Juliet forced a smile. "Likewise."
As the woman left, Juliet couldn't shake off the feeling of unease. She felt like she'd been punched in the gut.
Leonard returned to his office, seemingly oblivious to Juliet's turmoil.
But Juliet's mind was racing. She couldn't believe she'd been so blind. Mr. Grant was married.
Does she have feelings for him? She thought to herself, it was unclear, the emotions she felt on discovering that Mr Grant is married was so confusing.
