The woman in front of me looks at me with pleading eyes and says.
"Please help my world."
I look at her for a second and release a sigh. I do not misheard her, huh?
"Look, lady. I just died a painful death, and you want me to help your world? I am looking forward to the afterlife, you know?"

She snaps her finger, and the white room changes into something beautiful. I can see the galaxy from her, and as she snaps her finger once again, I can see a planet surrounded by a bubble of energy.
"This is Kolir, my creation. My pride and joy."
"What with the dark energy approaching from the void?"
I can see dark energies in the form of tentacles trying to enter the world.
"And that is the reason why I need your help."
She snaps her fingers and continues.
"The darkness is the energy from the Outer Realm, and it spawns monsters that kill all living beings in its path."
"How did that happen in the first place? Is it an accident or an invasion?"
I read a lot of this kind of plot in novels and manhwa. It is either an outright invasion or something happening that makes that energy appear in the world.
"The first one. But rather than an accident, it is a stupid plan from stupid gods."
"Ah, do they want to rule the world and try to kill you?"
"Yes. They think borrowing the power from the Outer Realm is a good idea. In their infinite wisdom, they break the barrier between reality and unreality. Instead of getting a massive boost in power, the Outer Realm suck them, and their very essences get destroyed. Now, I need to use most of my attention to block the energy from consuming my creation, and I need you to kill all the creatures that manage to slip my barrier. They have already created a kingdom and declared themselves Lords."
"Are they calling themselves Demon Lords?"
"Void Lords. They want to destroy my creations and offer them to their gods in the Outer Realm."
Holy shit. A demon lord plot, huh? Outer invasion, demon lord, and summoner hero. Interesting world.
"I need you to go into their territory and destroy the anchor they created in my creation. They create a pocket dimension using the Void Energy and spread them worldwide. This pocket dimension is called a dungeon. They condense the Void Energy to create a core inside the pocket dimension that keeps spawning more monsters. If not for my power, the monsters will leak out and destroy civilization. However, I cannot hold it for long. They will keep spawning and, sooner or later, will break the barrier around the dungeon. Luckily, they have one weakness: The dungeon core."
And a dungeon plot is coming out as well.
"Destroy it, and the monsters cannot be respawned. Not only that, but it will also greatly help me maintain the barrier and even let me close the hole in the barrier between reality."

"You have a harsh life, and now I add more responsibility to your shoulders. I am very sorry to give you this responsibility, but you are my only choice as I don't have enough energy to search for a new soul and give them enough power to defeat the monsters."
I look at her and smile assuringly.
"Don't worry. I understand. I am not angry at you. I will enjoy this new life"
She kisses me on the forehead and says.
"Thank you. Don't worry. I will put you into the body of someone with a good foundation, so you don't need to worry about money. I also make sure your power has the ability to let you get more money."

"Please step through the portal when you are ready, Jacob."
I nod, take a deep breath, and step through the portal. A second later, I arrive in the middle of a clearing in the forest. I look around for a few seconds before a blue panel appears in front of me. I looked at it in surprise and read the words on the panel.
[System activating… The system is activated. Hello, host! I will be your partner from now on! I am the Player's System! And the two of us shall destroy all monsters!]
