Mo Yuchen's hands trembled as he opened the balcony's door. As he flung open the balcony door, his heart racing and pounding in his chest, his mind was flooded with a terrifying thought: a life without her. The mere thought of it was unbearable, a cold, sickening feeling creeping into his veins. He could not accept it, could not imagine a world without her by his side. The thought alone was enough to make his hands tremble and his stomach turn.
His heart skipped a beat as he saw her sitting on the double seater swing, her silhouette illuminated by the soft moonlight. A wave of relief washed over him, his heart rate slowing down and his mind relaxing. He let out a shaky sigh, his shoulders slumping as he took a step forward.
" Godess! You scared the hell out of me ", he muttered. Mo Yuchen smiled in relief as he watched her, standing in front of her. She looked peaceful sleeping on the swing.
Mo Yuchen knelt down in front of her, his head resting on her lap as he took her hand in his. He laced his fingers through hers, holding onto her tightly, as if he was afraid she would disappear if he let go. He closed his eyes and inhaled softly, the scent of her filling his senses, soothing his worried mind.
Zi Aixia woke up when she felt someone's touch, she sneezed slightly. " Yuchen??" She whispered. She began to run her fingers through his hair, the smooth strands slipping through her fingers like silk. He let out a low hum of contentment, closing his eyes as he basked in the feeling of her touch. The sensation of her fingers in his hair was soothing, a grounding presence in the midst of his worries and concerns.
" What's wrong...what happened", As he lay on her lap, she could feel tremors rippling through his body, the subtle shaking causing her heart to ache. She continued to run her fingers through his hair, the movement soft and soothing, hoping to calm him and ease his tremors.
"Aiai...you scared me. Don't do it again Aiai.", he spoke calming down. Mo Yuchen stood up, his arms wrapping securely around her as he scooped her up in his arms. He carried her back into the bedroom, closing the balcony door behind him as he made his way inside. He laid her gently on the bed and settled next to her, his body curled protectively around hers.
" Do you know how scared I was...and Aiai why were you outside on the balcony..it was too cold outside and you were asleep on the swing? Seriously...you're gonna be ill. Silly girl, don't do this again ", Mo Yuchen lay on her, his head resting on her chest, his body fitting perfectly against hers. He could feel the steady rhythm of her heartbeat beneath him, a soothing soundtrack to his weary mind. Her arms encircled him, holding him close, her touch a gentle and comforting presence. He felt safe and protected, enveloped in her embrace like a cocoon of love and security. His breath mingled with hers as they lay intertwined, each inhale and exhale a shared moment of intimacy and connection. With her, everything felt right and peaceful.
" I'm sorry Yuchen, I woke up again in the middle of the night due to dreams...so to calm down I went outside to view the moon. I don't know when I fell asleep there. And the strict professor is in my embrace acting like a baby ", Zi Aixia spoke as she teased him.
" Moreover Zera would alert you if I'm in danger. Don't overthink Yuchen ", Zi Aixia smiled looking at him. She loved that his love for her was so pure that he became devastated without her.
He nuzzled his head into a comfortable position in her embrace," you had dreams? Just like yesterday? ", he spoke, his voice vibrating throughout her body. Zi Aixia hummed in response and started rubbing him small comforting circles on his back.
" You should have woken me up ", Mo Yuchen voiced out his thoughts after few seconds. Zi Aixia smiled," You didn't sleep yesterday too..and you looked extremely tired after everything happened within your company, I didn't want to disturb you ".

MY : " Aiai.."
ZA: "Hmmm..??".
MY: " I'll miss you, when I go to business trip. I realized I can't live without you ".
ZA: " Yuchen, you need to work....I have a question my mister?... Why did you choose to become a professor "
MY: " I can't let go of family business, Mingze is too young for it, and I can't let go of my love for coding either. Even if I'm not able to do it, I wanted to teach others so that they can do it."
ZA: " You're so hardworking,my mister. I'm proud of you ".
MY: " Hmm....that's my wifey for you. Wifey...I'm not sleepy".
ZA: " Close your eyes, you'll be able to sleep ".
MY: " Wifey...tell me...what if we had kids...what would you name them..? How many should we have "..
ZA: " Mo Yuchen!! My full meals. You gotta sleep "

ZA: " Mo Yuchen..if you don't shut up right now,I'll kick you out of the room, you can sleep in the study".
'KIDSS!!! OMGG!!! TFF? I'VE NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT, HOW CAN HE SHAMELESSLY SAY THINGS LIKE THIS!!!'.
'But...having kids with him!!?...sounds lovely..how would they look? Like me or him...??'.
'Ahhh I must be crazy...I'm still young why am I thinking about kids!!!'.
Mo Yuchen pulled her closer into his warm embrace, nuzzling his head into her neck, his grip tight on her waist afraid to let go. He kissed her forehead and fell asleep inhaling her addicting body scent. Zi Aixia smiled gently and fell asleep in his embrace, seeking her solace from him.
'Having kids...isn't a bad idea.' Zi Aixia thought one last last time before she drifted off into a deep slumber.

The whole week, the routine continued, Zi Aixia wakes up in the middle of the night unable to sleep, panting heavily, drenched with sweat , not able to remember her dream. Mo Yuchen as usual wakes up and accompanied her till she fell asleep peacefully for the whole week.
Now Mo Yuchen had to go to business trip for god knows how many days, even he wasn't sure how long the trip would take, he was quite worried about his wife, extremely worried for the fact that she woke up everyday in the middle of the night, drenched in sweat and panicked, he has never seen her so vulnerable since she woke up from her coma. It pained him that he wasn't able to do anything to help her. He wanted to be there for her during her best and during her worst.
Mo Yuchen sighed helplessly as he stood in the airport with Zi Aixia beside him, holding his hand and playing with it. " Aiai..".
Zi Aixia hummed in response trying to hide the reluctance in her eyes,the fact that she'll miss him dearly during his absence. " Call me okay? If you wake up in the night. ", Mo Yuchen said, he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ears and cupped her face.
Mo Yuchen felt three glares from behind, he ignored it and kissed her forehead. Mo Yuchen leaned down, his forehead pressed against hers, his eyes closed as he spoke in a soft whisper. "I'll miss you, wifey. Take care of yourself, alright?" He lingered for a moment longer, his body close to hers, savoring the last moment of contact before finally pulling away, his eyes opening to meet hers one last time.
" Yuchen...eat on time, don't worry about me...I'll miss you too..don't stress yourself okay.", Zi Aixia said, she gripped his blazer tightly. She would miss him alot but she didn't wanted to make him more worried about her.
Mo Yuchen pulled her chin up gently, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, tender kiss. He held the kiss for a moment, relishing the taste and feel of her lips as she bit his lower lips slightly,before finally pulling away. His hand lingered on her chin for a moment, his gaze tender and full of affection. "Be careful," he said,ruffling her hair, before reluctantly pulling away and departing.
He nodded looking at the Zi brothers standing aside and glaring at him, " Zi Aiming...Take care of her, she tends to wake up in the middle of the night due to dreams. "
Zi Aiming could sense the worry in Mo Yuchen's voice and nodded," Don't worry, we're here for her, be careful on the trip ". Mo Yuchen smiled in relief and bid farewell for the one last time and walked away with his secretary and bodyguards following him closely.
Zi Aixia watched reluctantly as he walked away from her. Her eyes teared up slightly, " let's go brothers", she walked towards the parking. Her brothers understanding that she needed some space didn't say anything and followed behind her closely. She gave Mo Yuchen the Advanced version of one of her bots which can change its form, she prepared it especially for Mo Yuchen. He was on cloud nine when he got to know that his wifey specifically made bots for him.
In the car----
Zi Aiming was driving towards the Zi mansion." Xiaxia, what's happening, I heard from Mo Yuchen that you aren't able to sleep?", Zi Aiming questioned as he looked beside him. " Nothing serious brother Aiming, just some disturbing dreams." She answered.
Zi Aixuan spoke," Dreams are associated with reality, if you're having dreams which you find disturbing, maybe it's related to something which has happened in the past ".
Zi Aiyi glared at Zi Aixuan, " shut up Aixuan". Zi Aixia laughed, her mood lightened up looking at her brothers bickering like kids. " No, brother Aiyi, Brother Aixuan is right, may be something happened in the past ".
Zi Aiming's eyes had a cold glint which flashed for a moment. No one noticed nothing amiss, but Zi Aixia caught that bone chilling murderous glint from Zi Aiming.
'What was that...'.
She looked at the review mirror, She saw sorrow in Zi Aiyi's eyes. Zi Aixuan looked outside distantly.
'What's wrong? Did I say something wrong???'.
