*Rowan's POV*
I woke up still a bit tired but today is Saturday so I can sleep all day "What's this smell.." I went to sit on my chair I noticed some pancakes on the desk, they were warm too "Hmph.." I took a small piece and put it in my mouth, it tasted very sweet "Who made those?" and then it hit me, Hariko was still here so she probably made them.. but weren't her arms bandaged? how did she managed to make pancakes in the first place? to be honest I'm kinda surprised.. isn't she an animal? well.. half animal but still, how does she know how to cook? I shouldn't complain though because I don't even know how to cook "At least I should thank her.." I finished eating the pancakes and they were only two of them, I stand up and went to the kitchen.
I slowly opened the door and a powerful smell hit my nose "Yep.. she's totally cooking" it's kinda awkward to be around her and besides.. I think she's still scared, I have to wait a couple of weeks until she's comfortable with me "Morning" she jumped a bit when I spoke, I think she's still scared of me "Good morning Rowan" "You know.. you don't have to cook, were you hungry?" "Isn't breakfast ideal to start the day?" "Yeah.. well, if it doesn't bother you I guess it's okay" "Have you ate the pancakes that I left for you?" she's not shy talking to me anymore, at least I think so "Yeah, they taste good!" I could see her blush but I decided not to tease her.. yet.
I sit at the table and I noticed her ears moving along with her tail wiggling, this is not cosplay at all "So.. how do you know how to cook?" "What do you mean?" "I mean.. you're half animal and yet you know how to make a dish, me in the other hand I have no clue how to cook" "My auntie used to teach me how to cook.. even if I have an animal tail and ears.. that doesn't mean I'm not a human" "I guess you have a point there.." to be honest I'm kinda happy that I found her, maybe she can help me around the house or maybe doing it on her own? we'll see about that "Are there more.. fox girls out there?" "Yeah, some of them travels with humans too" how did I not noticed a single fox girl walking around with a human? I think their ears were covered along with their tail.
She placed a plate full of pancakes and they had maple syrup on them, I looked confused at Hariko "You don't like maple syrup..?" "I do but.. how did you get the syrup?" "You had some in the kitchen and I really love maple syrup!" I don't remember having some but.. oh well, I take a small bite and it was amazing "I'm gonna be honest.. I haven't tasted good dishes in a long time.. this is truly the best" a small smile appeared on her face and it was the first time when I see that, such an rare event "Last night was a bit cold.. do you have some spare clothes?" I almost choke with the food, I completely forgot she's walking around in her underwear "Uh.. I do not" she frowns slightly "I'll take anything, give me a hoodie or something" I stand up "Alright... I'll get you something to wear, I suppose I'll need to buy you some clothes..." "You don't have to do that.. it's okay" that's definitely something that I have to do "No, I insist" she sighs "Okay.. but.. just buy one outfit okay?" I nod as I start heading towards the front door.
*Hariko's POV*
As I watched him leave the house it only made me more confused, he doesn't have to do all of these.. "What can I do to kill time.." at least here I'm free to do what I like, unlike at my parents home when they would almost kill me if I wasn't obeying them. I went to Rowan's room and it was even colder in here "Even though I'm not allowed to be in here.. I still want clothes" I opened his closet and he was right, it only was t-shirts along with pants "Mm.." I take one of his shirts and it was pretty big, I put it on and it was long enough to cover my hips "So comfy.." at least now I have something to keep me warm "Would he get mad at me if he sees me with his shirt on..? I hope not.." I went to the living room and sat on the couch "I wonder why he let me stay.. he seems different from the others or is he just showing me the good part of him? and then later he's just gonna toy with me? I hope not.. he seems like a good guy.."
*Time skip*
The door opened revealing Rowan with a sweater on his shoulder and some bags in his hands "Sorry to keep ya waiting but Larisa asked me to do her a favor so tomorrow expect me to be gone all day" "D-don't worry about it.." he looks at me and he chuckles "It was too cold in here for you huh?" "Are you.. mad..?" "No! why would you think that? besides.. it looks cute on you and.. big" I blush and I tried to hide my face but he probably noticed my blush already "Anyway, here" he hands me a green sweater... "I'll go to my room, just yell when you're done" I look at him as he enters his room and sigh "At least he isn't mad at me.." I take off the shirt and put on the sweater, I could feel my body warming up and it was very comfy too "I'm done!" he revealed himself and he was a bit happy "To be honest I don't know why you wanted a sweater twice bigger than your actual size but.. I guess it's fine" suddenly I felt dizzy and fell on the floor "You okay?" Rowan rushed to my side "The pain kicked in..." he lifts me up and I blush madly, once again we went to his room.
*Rowan's POV*
I lay her down on my bed and I had no idea what was bothering her, after all I did took care of her wounds "Where does it hurt?" she lifts her new sweater up and rubs her stomach softly "Uh... Your stomach hurts right?" she started whimpering and I really didn't knew what to do.. usually I sleep through any stomach aches "Try to relax as much as you can okay? and try to sleep" "B-But.." "Don't speak.. just try to sleep, I know it hurts a lot but believe me, if you sleep tomorrow you're gonna be okay" I turned on the radiator and grabbed the chair from my desk, I put it next to the bed and sat on it "Have you ate something raw? or something expired? perhaps spoiled food?" she shakes her head "I see.." I gently rubbed her head, her ears flicker lightly as she sinks deeper into the pillow. "Thank you, Rowan" it didn't take too long for the fox to fall asleep... a sigh escapes my lips as I look outside the window "Man what did I get myself into?"
