*Rowan's POV*
I was at the table enjoying my taco and to be honest I love Hariko's cooking, I don't know for how long I was asleep but Hariko woke me up with a soft shake "Rowan? would you mind if you take me on walks?" I look at her confused and chuckled "You're not a dog are you?" "I just wanna go outside.." she sighs and grabs a taco "If you want to see the outside world why didn't you said so? we might need a leash though.." "I'm not a dog!" she playfully punches my shoulder and I laugh at her "Wanna go somewhere tomorrow?" she shrugs her shoulders and I grab another taco.
*Time skip*
Hariko was long gone in the living room while I sat in the kitchen looking for something to work, now that we are two people in this house the work at the nearby restaurant will not give me enough money for my needs so I really need to find something to work fast, I sigh and stood up hopeless "Sometimes I just want to be a child again" as I enter the living room I saw Hariko trying to comb her tail, that was the first time seeing her tail in her lap.. too cute "What's wrong Hariko?" she had an unpleasant look on her face "Does it hurt when you comb your tail or something..?" I sit next to her and she yelps "It does hurt a little when I try to comb my tail" the floof went behind her back and she sighs "Do you really need to comb your tail?" "Yes! it's messy and I don't like my tail being messy!" I thought for a while and eventually an idea popped into my head "How about I comb your tail?" she looks at me like I'm trying to rob her "I.. I g-guess I can l-let you do that.." she hands me her comb and sighs "B-be gentle!"
She turns her back to me and lays her tail on my lap, I can't believe I'm doing this but here goes nothing.. I softly touch her tail and she yelps "Am I hurting you?" "N-No.. you may continue.." I can tell she's feeling uncomfortable when someone else touches her tail but damn boy.. her tail is so fluffy! I could use it as a pillow to sleep! I slowly comb her tail and enjoy every moment of it, I hope Hariko won't hate me for this but this tail and I will become good friends, the fluff levels are impeccable "Does your tail hurt due to the wounds?" "My entire body hurts.." "Maybe you over worked your body.. how about you take it easy and relax for a bit?" "But.. I don't want to relax and to see you working all day.." "Don't worry about me, I mean look at you Hariko.. you're messed up, just relax for me okay?" she sighs and nods her head.
After a while of combing her tail look beautiful and more fluffier "Thank you.." I wanted to pet her tail so badly.. I think I'm gonna lose it at some point "Ow.." she turns to me with a puppy face "Something's wrong?" "You know.. you didn't treat all of my wounds.." I look at her with pure confusion, I took care of every single wound she had "My chest has some cuts, my back as well" I look at her, rubbing the bridge of my nose annoyed "Why didn't you said anything earlier?" I stand up and lift her shirt up and she was right.. have I perhaps not noticed because I was too much in a rush to fix her wounds..? I don't get it "I.. I don't want to cause more problems for you.." oh my days.. "Hariko, you need to take care of you body's health, if you can't then let me help you" no wonder why she looks so uncomfortable, she still has wounds that I need to take care of and she didn't told me anything about it!
I sigh deeply and hold out my hand for her, she takes it and we went to the bathroom "Okay.. get your shirt off" she takes her shirt off and her entire body was red, now that's what I call blushing "How do you feel?" she did not respond, but she turns her back to me and her entire back was filled with all sorts of cuts "Okay.. after this you're gonna take a bath and head to sleep, maybe that will stop hurting" I help her get into the tub slowly, before turning on the water and check the temperature "Alright, water is good, just make sure you don't slip or something alright? I'll wait outside the room" she gave me a confused look and I return the gesture "What..?" she chuckles sheepishly "I uh... don't really know how to use these" my confusion only grows deeper "Uh... do you want me to help you-" her blush intensified as her tail perk up "I didn't knew you were a pervert!" I sigh deeply "You'll figure it out okay? it's not that hard, I'll wait for you downstairs alright?".
As I walk out of the bathroom I quickly made my way into my bedroom to grab some spare clothes for the fox. Digging through the wardrobe I quickly grabbed into some shorts and a clearly oversized hoodie for her before making my way back towards the bathroom, at the very least I can hear the water running as well as Hariko's soft humming "Oi, you alright in there?" I heard a small yelp and I couldn't help but chuckle mentally "Yeah..! what is it?" "I got you some clothes, I'll leave them hanging by the door's knob alright?" she didn't reply so I simply put the coat hanged over the knob before descending down the stairs "I wonder if she has some sort of identity...? better yet... what the hell is up with the fox features? perhaps I am going nuts..." shrugging these thoughts off I sat on the sofa, turning on the TV as I started to wait.
After what felt like an eternity I started to hear footsteps, turning around I saw Hariko whose tail was wagging all over the place... not to mention my hoodie looked like it was a dress for her with how oversized it was "Do you feel better now?" I ask while Hariko smiled, sitting next to me before giving me a comb "You know what to do" she giggles and turns her back to me and places her tail on my lap "I just combed your tail though" "And it's a total mess again.. please comb it for me~" she turns her head to me with a puppy face and I sigh "Okay.. fine" I began combing her tail once again and she sighs in relief, her fur was much softer than before "Can we go somewhere tomorrow?" "Tomorrows a big day for me Hariko, is the day I graduate from school" she turns her head to me and she had a smile on her face "Really? you're graduating? can I come too?" I couldn't help but arch an eyebrow, why would she want to come with me? it's boring stuff... not to mention it would be a hassle to cover her fox features "Uh.. you really want to?" "Yes! can I? pleeease?" I sigh "Okay fine, you can come with me.. just make sure you cover your ears and tail properly" "Okay, I promise you, by the way you have to bandage me too" I sigh and chuckle lightly and continued to comb her tail, well.. tomorrow's gonna be something isn't it?
