Chapter 6 - Berry Picky?!(Chapter 5)

(First POV)

(2 weeks later)

Over the past two weeks, not much has happened—mainly because I decided not to roll my bronze tickets. You're probably wondering why. Well, it's simple: bronze tickets can be traded for silver tickets. While silver tickets don't massively improve the odds, they're still a step up, especially since they also unlock the chance to get epic items. Waiting a little longer for better rewards feels worth it!

>[The difference between Bronze and Silver tickets lies primarily in the rarity of the items you can obtain and the odds associated with each tier of rewards:

Bronze Ticket:

Item Tiers Available: Common (65%), Uncommon (30%), and Rare (5%).

Exclusions: Epic, Legendary, and Mystic items are not available.

Purpose: Ideal for beginners, providing entry-level pulls that focus on accessible and basic items.

Silver Ticket:

Item Tiers Available: Common (50%), Uncommon (35%), Rare (12%), and Epic (3%).

Exclusions: Legendary and Mystic items are not available.

Purpose: Mid-tier ticket with improved odds for Rare items and a small chance for Epic items, providing a better stepping stone than Bronze tickets.

In summary, Silver tickets offer better odds for higher-tier rewards (Rare and Epic) compared to Bronze tickets, making them a more valuable option for players looking to advance in the game.]<

I can also trade them for gold however each trade is 10 tickets for one upgraded ticket. So I can use 10 bronze for a silver ticket and then 10 silver for 1 gold then…well you get the idea.

I also discovered draw types!!.

>[ The Gacha System provides three main types of draws, each with unique mechanics and odds depending on the ticket type used:

1. Standard Draws Definition: Fully random pulls from all categories (e.g., Weapons, Magic, Food, Property).

Purpose: Offers the best overall odds for higher-tier rewards compared to other draws. Odds by Ticket Type:

Bronze Ticket:

Common: 65%

Uncommon:30%

Rare:5%

Legendary and Mystic not available.

Silver Ticket:

Common: 50%

Uncommon: 35%

Mystic: 0.1%

.Platinum Ticket:

Rare: 30%

Epic: 15%

Legendary: 9%

2. Focused Draws

Definition: Allows targeting a specific category (e.g., Weapons, Magic, Knowledge).

Purpose: Provides items from the selected category but with lower overall odds for higher rarities compared to Standard Draws.

Odds by Ticket Type:

Bronze Ticket:

Common: 70%

Uncommon: 25%

Rare: 5%.

Silver Ticket:

Common: 55%

Uncommon: 30%

Uncommon: 25%

Rare: 28%

Epic: 14%

Legendary: 7%

Mystic: 0.8%.

3. World Draws Definition: Unlock rewards tied to specific worlds using World Tickets.

Purpose: Offers exclusive world-themed items but features the worst overall odds due to the specialized content.

Odds by Ticket Type :Bronze Ticket: Not applicable.

Silver Ticket:

Common: 60%

Uncommon: 30%

Rare: 9%

Epic: 1%.

Gold Ticket:

Common: 50%

Uncommon: 30%

Rare: 15%

Epic: 4%

Legendary: 0.9%

Mystic: 0.1%.

Platinum Ticket:

Common: 35%

Uncommon: 30%

Mystic: 0.2%.

Summary of Differences:

Standard Draws: Best odds for higher rarities across all ticket types.

Focused Draws: Narrowed categories but reduced odds for rare items.

World Draws: Specialized items tied to specific worlds, with lower odds for higher rarities.

Let me know if you'd like further clarification or a breakdown of any specific aspect!]<

This seems simple. I can choose a standard which is random but has better chances and then there is focused draw in which you choose a specific category like weapon, armor, property and ect.

This list is very bad unless I am hungry or trying to have high quality plushy then I cant buy anything with 100 gacha points.

What was I going to say? Oh yea almost burned my room down…

Yea not my smartest moment you might ask how I did it well remember the blades of chaos? Apparently they have the ability to get hot even when not in use.. Like really hot which does not matter if your floor is not carpet.. but mine is.

How did I discover this? Wweeellll…

(Two weeks ago after getting my items)

Well I did get a ration pack from The mass effect world….Would be a shame to not eat it.

I used my desk in my dorm room. Yes, I have my own dorm that my dad pays for but apart from that I still need to pay for water, electricity, food, and wifi. It is the size of a big living room with a separate bathroom that is very tight. No kitchen so I make do with a mini oven and microwave…no air fryer sadly ._.

I get my spoon with a glass of water ready and I open it.

First thing I see is a capsule and a paper describing what the items are.

(Hydration Capsule

A small, dissolvable capsule filled with electrolytes and hydration boosters. Drop it in water or swallow it directly for instant rehydration. The taste is neutral with a slight citrus aftertaste.)

I decided to drop it in water and drink it. Tastes like nothing…Never mind it kinda made it worse. The citrus taste is kind of a bad aftertaste. Did not enjoy it but it does its job.

After that disappointment I decided to take out a small pouch and read the instructions.

(Nutrient-Rich Stew Pouch

A self-heating, ready-to-eat pouch containing a hearty stew. It features a mix of tender, plant-based protein chunks, grains, and a savory broth. The flavors are mild but comforting, like a mix between chicken soup and lentil stew.

How to heat it up:

Activate the Heating Element:

Locate the small activation tab on the bottom of the pouch. Pull the tab to start the self-heating process. You'll hear a soft hiss as the heating element warms the contents. This process takes approximately 1-2 minutes.

Shake the Pouch:

Gently shake the pouch while it heats to ensure the contents are evenly warmed. Avoid squeezing too hard to prevent spillage.

Open the Pouch:

Tear along the perforated edge at the top of the pouch, using the pre-cut notch for easy access. Be careful, as the contents might be hot.

Eat Directly from the Pouch:

Use the provided foldable spoon (usually included in the N7 Field Ration Pack) to eat directly from the pouch. The stew is designed for easy scooping, even in low-gravity or limited-mobility environments.)

I decided to follow the instructions down to the letter. Then meanwhile it was heating up and I decided to eat a bag of.. something from the pack so I decided to read the paper again.

(Compressed Vegetables and Fruit Chips

A small pack of crunchy chips made from freeze-dried fruits and vegetables. Light, crisp, and slightly sweet, they provide fiber and natural sugars to keep energy levels up.)

It was…okay.. The whole meal up to now was just disappointment but to be fair it is a ration food made for eating in the battlefield not as an everyday item for a regular person.

Anyways, let's now Imagine eating one of those bad chips that are made of vegetables. I think they are called Veggie straws. Now imagine that.. but a bit worse. The fruits did not even save it since all the moisture was sucked off and now tastes like nothing but broken dreams.

I decided to check the packet again and, to my surprise, found a small, neatly wrapped piece of chocolate tucked inside. A tiny square of hope in an otherwise questionable meal.

"Maybe this little chocolate square will actually taste good," I muttered, unwrapping it carefully. The faint, rich aroma of chocolate hit me, and for a moment, I even dared to feel optimistic about it.

With a shrug, I popped it into my mouth. Please don't taste like disappointment.

…It tastes a bit bitter then sweet then bitter then…what the hell kind of food is this?! Why does the chocolate taste bitter and sweet at the same time? Maybe the soldiers love this since it is better to taste something then taste something bland everyday.

Either way the stew is done, let's see if it is good.

Okay the first thing that hits me when opening it up is smells like chicken soup and lentil stew. Shit it even looks like that. What kind of sick joke is this? ..I Still ate it.. Don't judge me I was hungry..

It was overall Eh not bad but not good however still have one thing in the pouch

A protein bar…This somehow ended up being the best food in the whole pack…

Welp after eating the whole pack I decided to throw away the whole pack in the trash but only after I took a photo of the pack since It had the N7 logo and no one had this, only me…. Might post it on Instagram.

That is when I started to smell a smoky smell. It came from the closet…

SHIT!!!

I opened the closet so fast it could've given the Flash a run for his money. As soon as the door swung open, a small fire—no bigger than a fist—was flickering on the ground. Not huge, but definitely enough to spread and ruin my life.

Panic set in, but I spotted the cup of water nearby, already prepped with a dissolved capsule. Without thinking, I grabbed it and splashed the mixture onto the fire surrounding the blades. To my relief, it worked—the flames hissed and vanished almost instantly.

Crisis averted, I figured it was time to buy a proper stand for the blades. I found one online, but the price tag? A cool $100. I'm already broke, so this purchase might as well have been a death blow to my wallet.

In the end, the whole ordeal was terrible. The fire, the water capsule, the overpriced stand—and let's not forget the sheer disappointment of the food I got. Honestly? Not worth it. 4/10

(Two weeks later! So the present? Yea I think)

Over the past few days, I found myself stuck in a stupid cycle—slashing the blades with water every few hours even during the night until the metal stands finally arrived. They were delivered in decent shape, and I decided to place them near the microwave. Why? Well, if the microwave gets wrecked, it'd cost only a few hundred to replace compared to the mini oven. Priorities, right?

During those days, I also made some surprising discoveries. First, I learned everything the help menu had to offer. Second, the magic pink wand I tried using? Yeah, it didn't work. Apparently, I don't have mana. Makes sense, considering our world doesn't have magic. So Unless I figure out how to generate my own mana, build some intricate mana system for Earth out of my ass, or get a world ticket to a world that does have magic, I'm completely out of luck.

Now, onto my ticket stash: after two weeks, I've accumulated 14 bronze tickets and 2 silver tickets. Here's the problem now—do I trade 10 bronze tickets for a shot at an epic item? That'd give me 3 silver tickets and leave me with 4 bronze. Or should I keep all 14 bronze tickets and my 2 silver? But wait… do I even have space for the items I'd win? Unless I shell out for a storage box, my room's will become at max capacity.

Shit what should I do?! What about using draw types?...Damn

Writer here

I Decided to make this interactive.

You guys can choose what I should do with the tickets and what types of draws I use. Remember bronze tickets can not be used for world draw only silver and up. The most liked comment will be the one to choose and if no one comments then…I guess I will choose what to do.

Think about and choose thank you guys for the views.
