The night was eerily silent. Too silent.
Alec stood by the window, his golden eyes narrowed as he scanned the estate grounds. Something was off. The wind carried a scent he didn't like—foreign, tainted.
Predatory instincts prickled at the back of his mind.
Ace was sprawled on the couch, twirling a knife between his fingers. His smirk remained, but there was an edge to it—something sharp, dangerous. "You feel it too, don't you?"
Alexander didn't answer. He was seated at his desk, reviewing the latest security footage. His silver eyes darkened as he leaned forward.
A single shadow flickered across the screen.
Then another.
Then more.
They were here.
In Roo's Room...
Roo stirred, his fingers clutching the silk sheets as a strange sense of unease crept over him. His instincts screamed at him—whispered of danger, of something unseen lurking beyond the walls.
Then—
A sharp noise.
His eyes snapped open.
Footsteps. Fast. Heavy.
Too many.
His pulse spiked as he sat up, heart hammering. The air was thick with something he couldn't name—something cold, threatening.
Then the door burst open.
Strong arms wrapped around him before he could react, lifting him off the bed in a rough, unyielding grip. A hand clamped over his mouth, stifling his gasp.
He struggled, panic surging through his veins.
But it was useless.
The scent of unfamiliar wolves surrounded him.
And just as his vision blurred from fear—
A deafening roar split through the air.
Downstairs—The DeLorenzo Triplets' Wrath...
The mansion erupted into chaos.
Alec was the first to move, his body shifting mid-air as he lunged toward the first intruder. His claws tore through flesh, hot blood splattering against the walls.
Ace's grin widened as he drove his knife into another's throat, twisting it with a brutal flick of his wrist. "Big mistake, fuckers."
Alexander was silent. Efficient. Deadly. He snapped a rogue's neck with a single flick of his wrist before moving onto the next, his silver eyes burning with cold fury.
Their home had been breached.
Their mate had been touched.
And for that—
Everyone would die.
The Rogue Holding Roo...
The intruder holding Roo faltered for a split second, thrown off by the carnage unfolding around them.
And in that moment—
A shadow loomed behind them.
Alec.
The rogue barely had time to react before Alec's claws pierced through his back, right through the chest cavity. The body slumped, lifeless, releasing Roo.
Roo barely had time to process what happened before another pair of arms caught him.
Alexander.
His grip was bruising, his silver eyes molten with fury.
"You're mine," he growled. "Do you understand that, Roo?"
His voice was low, almost a whisper, but it was laced with something far more terrifying than rage.
Possession.
Pure, unrelenting possession.
Roo trembled, his throat dry.
Ace stepped forward, his usually amused expression dark. "You think you can just be taken from us?"
Alec wiped blood from his cheek, eyes glowing dangerously. "Foolish, little omega." His voice was silky, almost mocking. "Did you really think we'd let anyone lay a hand on you?"
Roo swallowed hard.
The triplets weren't just angry.
They were furious.
And now that they had him back in their grasp.
They weren't letting go.
Elsewhere—A Watching Enemy...
A pair of shadowed figures stood at the edge of the estate, watching the carnage unfold.
The taller one smirked. "They're stronger than we thought."
The other's expression remained unreadable.
"But no matter." The smirk widened.
"This was only the beginning."
