Synopsis
The retired 28 year old Sam Porter, ex navy seal sniper found himself in need of money for the treatment for his younger twin siblings that need 2 different expensive treatments for their illness, Sam sees a new opportunity in the new VRMMORPG made by Real Inc the most advanced company in VR technology that allows to exchange in game currency for money in the real world and where users gain skills depending on their experiences in the real world thanks to the advanced Real Inc Game Pod analyzing the user brain and knowledge granting them initial skills based on those. Will Sam adapt through his training in a world of guns, sword and magic called GSM the frontier

Chapter 1 - GSM the frontier, I will fight for you

Sam Porter was a young man in his twenties close to his thirties, he had been a soldier in service in Third World countries for a total of 10 years before coming back home because his parents died in a car accident caused by a drunk driver that left him to take care of his 2 twin siblings, Anne and Max Porter.

Sam is thorned apart by this news he recieved during service and got discharged with honor from the army because of his 100% success mission rate but not all those missions didn't had sacrifices made.

Sam had a squad of a total of 5 mans Rick Lington the tech maniac, Leo Man the spotter, Richard Raynald the second sniper and Peter Lington Rick's brother and their explosive expert and then we had Sam the squad leader and first sniper.

These memories filled his mind as he arrived back home in need of money to sustain his family as he then remembered of Rick always blabbering about a game that was getting created amd you could make money out of it by a 1:10 exchange rate of in game currency to real money.

It would be night as this toughts filled his mind as he layed on his old bed in his bedroom he didn't see in 10 years and he then decided to research this game.

The game was called GSM the frontier made by Real Inc the global leader of VR technology the game in self was about the story of a fantasy world with all type of monsters and medieval settings but with a much more technological advanced civilization that developed guns like flintlock pistols and muskets.

"It seems at least interesting i can actually use guns in a medieval world but the limitation to ancient weapons would maybe be not comparable to magic firepower."

As he tought about this he read, at the start of the game every player gets initial skills based on their real world experiences and that the AI that controlled the system actually allowed the fabrication of the players own weapons if they had a skill for it.

"If this is true i can actually maybe make modern weapons we used..." He tought as he read more about how in game you could interact with any NPC, gain your own territory even in solo and that you would be able to choose from different classes like Warrior, Knight, Barbarian, Ranger, Wizard, Sorcerers, Musketeer etc.

After thinking about it for the whole night the next day Sam ordered one of the gamepods online paying them a whole 2500 dollars but he still had some money from his army period so if he quickly gained money in game he would recover them.

That same day the capsule arrived home and thinking about his 2 siblings in the hospital he instantly entered as he heard a voice.

"System start.... Analyzation process of the user body and mind.

Loading.....

Then he heard:

Type Buff

The user his able to adapt to any enviroment being able to gain information on all the enviroment resources and monsters just by setting foot in it.

Acquisition Innate Skill: Gun Enthusiast

Type Buff and Damage

The user is able to use any type of gun related items and is able to ignore the loading condition for the guns itself, additionally all guns damage has a 10% chance to ignore a monster or player defense stat and has increased damage of 35%

Acquisition Innate Skill: Survival of the fittest

Type Damage and Loot

The user is able to analyze a monster or player weak points to deal a critical hit guaranteed with a multiplier of 2.5x the damage, with this analysis the player has better chance of dropping items from monsters both being equipments and materials

Acquisition Innate Skill: Gun Smith

Type Crafting

Being an expert in gun making and having vast knowledge of guns the user his able to craft his own personalized guns not restricted to the in game weaponary and all guns crafted will have a chance of 20% to gain an extra perk to them when made by the player.

Acquisition Innate Skill: Lone Wolf

Type Buff

When fighting alone all the user stats gets a 20% boost and the healing rate of the user is heightened by 50%

Acquisition Innate Skill: Martial Training

Type Buff

The user is proficient in hand to hand combat and close range knife and gun fight gaining a 10% more damage when conditions are met

Acquisition Innate Skill: Sniper Training

The user is able to ignore the max range set for all gun related weapons and able to being undetected when not in the player or monster range giving it the use of the ability Sniper Shot dealing 50% more damage when undetected.

Sam was a bit taken back by all the skill he had but in the end each of those skills were a part of himself and how he is

"Please now choose a starting class"

Sam could see through many classes but his choice was obvious as he pressed Musketeer

"Insert your username"

Sam then called himself as he was known in the army.... Apostle of Vengeance.

After a few seconds Sam found himself in a small village in the plains as he set foot his Innate Skill gave him all the informations of the place, this was the starting village that had players from level 0 to level 15 as he checked his status he would see

"Mmmm i could hunt a few hoping for a drop of equipment since with my skill the common chance is 40 and uncommon 20% but most likely all players would be there so i would instead wanna gain information on the crafting and the best place is there" 

He says while looking at a gun smith shop next to a Tailor and Smithy

As Sam would knock on the door of the gun smith shop he would hear screams from someone inside and as he entered he saw 2 bandits with muskets complaining.

"OLD MAN THIS MUSKET CAN'T EVEN HIT A BOAR HOW WILL YOU EXPLAIN THAT HUH" the boss of the 2 bandit says 

"YEAH SO GIVE US ALL YOUR MONEY" The second bandit says pointing his flintlock to a man that looks in his 40's with a long brown bear and a slightly fat physique

Seeing this I grab my musket and stay silent as the old man looks at me and notices it as in one instant later..... Boom the second bandit falls down with a hole in his head as a number shows above him.

Critical Hit 103 dmg as he falls down dead because both the bandits are level 0 like him and another pop up says

"You Killed a Bandit 25 xp gained" The system says

"WHAT THE HE-" before the other bandit could end his phrase another shot flied before he could see the enemy and another number appeared as he fell down dead too

Critical Hit 137 damage. Gained 25 xp for killing a bandit

Sam would then put away his musket and look at the old man saying.

"You ok Mister?" 

The old man would then laugh and say

"HAHAHAHAHAHA nice aim young man and yes I am ok thanks for the help my name is Reynold what is yours?"

"Call me Vengeance." Sam says

"Well what can I help you with?" He would say as the bandit bodies disappeared and dropped 2 bags of coins that sam picked up

"I wanted to ask if you could teach me how to create Firearms" He says as Reynold raises his brow and because of the Gun Smith Innate Skill Sam possesses a quest appears.

Gun Smithing Apprentice (D)

Reynold is intrigued by your curiosity for firearms learn Reynold Firearm production recipe and his favor

Rewards: Gun Smithing (Novice), 100 XP and Gun Crafting feature unlocked.

Accept Refuse

Sam presses accept 

"Very well young man come with me" The 2 go to a smithy behind his shop as Sam can see all the smithing equipment for gun creation

"Now firstly learn this" Gives the Gun Smith (Novice) skill book "Then make a flintlock pistol simple enough huh?"

"Ok then I will do it" As he touches the book the system says

"Do you wanna use the Gun Smith (Novice) Skillbook?" Sam then presses yes as gun crafting method of the game flow in his mind and his gun smith innate skill shows lightened up materials and instruments with number indicating the order as he start his crafting of the flintlock with the materials as 3 hours fly by he finishes.

"Done here u go." He says to Reynold 

"Let's see then." He examines the pistol with eyes widen and a smirk

Sam smirks as he recieved both the gun he made and the intermediate gun smithing skill book too as extra reward.

"So lad how about becoming my apprentice huh?" Reynold says with a smirk offering his hand and sam shakes it agreeing

"You became Reynold apprentice you gained the ability to use Reynold smithy and tools for free, starting village reputation +50" The system said

"Anyway lad what will you do now?" Reynold asks

"I am gonna hunt monsters for materials" Sam said

"Well in that case i know a place good for hunting monsters that will give you good materials" He gives Sam a map

Ding

"You acquired level 3 hidden dungeon map for the mines of iron" Sam eyes widen a bit as he recieved an hidden dungeon map meaning only him will know of it and he could level up in it and maybe get some items.

"Thank you Reynold, I will be back!" Sam says as he leaves the shop into the plains.
