Chapter 1 - The Vision

"Woooooo! What is going on here? I can't believe my eyes, am I in heaven?" Alina exclaimed in astonishment as she looked around and saw the variety of delicacies served to her, as well as the beautiful flowers that bowed before her. She noticed that she was in a garden, a vast, exquisite garden, full of everything and anything she had ever wanted. Everything was at her beck and call. All she needed to do was snap her fingers, and everything she needed would be brought to her immediately. Towards the end of the garden, she saw some children playing and running around, and she loved it so much that she could not take her eyes off them.

"If only they were my children," she thought to herself while smiling sheepishly.

As she moved, the flowers cleared the path for her, and it was marvelous in her sight. The surroundings were serene and exquisite, with butterflies flitting around. Feeling the cool breeze, she threw her arms wide and ran as fast as she could. She raised her head to the sky, smiling and turning in circles as if she were in harmony with the wind; she suddenly heard music and began dancing to it. It felt as though she had suddenly become a princess.

"Hahaha!" she laughed. "Where could I be?" she asked herself as she continued to dance.

"This feels so real, but where is everyone? I can not seem to see anyone. Well, if this is a dream, I would rather stay here."

Let me not get ahead of myself; I am yet to introduce this magnificent fairy to you. Alina, a vision fairy, is a single and beautiful woman who has been without a child for years and has frequently been unhappy, but with the support of her friends Emy and Lily, she has always found happiness. As previously stated, Alina is single, so you would wonder if a single person is meant to be with a child. Despite her yearning for a child, she never wanted to marry for reasons she did not understand. How on earth is that possible? How is it possible to desire a child while opposing marriage? Now that strikes me as really odd. In today's society, someone could advise adoption, but there is nothing of the sort in Swerverland. Her acquaintances, Emy and Lily, were married with 5-year-old children. Emy had a son named Owen, and Lily had a daughter named Merly; they frequently visited Alina to keep her company. Alina made sure they were comfortable at home and treated them like her own children whenever they visited.

I suppose it is time to return to where we left off. Alina had never felt this happy and highly spirited in such a long time. She felt at ease and as if her anxieties had vanished. Her ecstasy had no bounds, and she never wanted it to stop.

"Alinaaaaaa," her name echoed. "Whoa, I guess I am not alone after all. Who is there?" she asked, but no one answered. As she turned around, she saw a beautiful mansion with the door wide open as though it was beckoning on her to come in. The mansion was well decorated with flowers, ribbons, and carpets on the ground to be stepped upon when entering. She went inside, and lo and behold, she saw kings and queens seated, but they weren't discussing anything.

"Is this a palace?" she thought to herself while wondering what meeting was going on and quickly left to avoid being seen by any of them. There were lovely flowers in front of the mansion, and as she caressed them, they blossomed, and a smaller flower sprang from each.

"Amazing," she thought to herself.

"Yeah, amazing," a voice replied her.

"Ama what? I just said this in my head," she said to herself as she turned around and saw an old lady.

"Greetings to you," Alina said surprisingly.

"Greetings, my dear, I am sure you love it here," the old lady said.

"Affirmatively, but where is this lovely place, if I may ask?"

"Where you are is irrelevant; what counts is what you do while you are still here. What is it that is bothering you beyond this smile?"

"I believe I am doing well on my own."

"Well, I have observed you for a while, and I know that all is not well, even though you are so happy right now. Do you know if I can be of help?"

"Okay, I'll speak up. I am in dire need of a child, but the irony is that I am not married and do not wish to be married. I am not merely aware of my own shortcomings; I have a burning desire to have a child, even though I know that it is impossible in this situation. It is so crazy that it makes me go mad. I do not even want to interact with people of the opposite sex. Have you ever heard of anything so bizarre?" Anita inquired devastatingly. "My desire to have my own children grows every time I spend time with my friends' children. My friends are currently expecting their second child, and I'm standing here longing for the unattainable."

"Don't worry, you shall have a child."

"This sounds so funny," Anita said as she laughed. "Given that I'm single, how is it possible?"

"Take this," the elderly woman said and handed her a seed together with a bowl filled with sand. "Plant this seed in this bowl and store it somewhere secure. After three days, observe the results."

"Please don't be offended, but who are you?"

"Never mind, go home and follow my instructions. Your issues are resolved. You will know who I am when the right time comes."

"This is not completely clear. How will a bowl, a seed, and sand give me a child that I solely desire?"

"Are you not curious to find out?"

"Actually I am."

"Then go home and do as I say."

"Thank you, wise...." Before Alina could complete her statement, the old woman vanished. Alina ran as fast as she could with the bowl, and when she eventually got home, she shared the news with her two friends to their ecstatic delight. Alina followed the elderly woman's advice and bided her time.

On the third day, Alina went to her balcony and was astonished by what she saw. She could not say anything; rather, she immediately went to call her friends, who, upon arriving, noticed two girls standing next to the flower.

"Wow, the seed has blossomed into a stunning flower," Lina exclaimed.

"Not the flower, look up," Alina said. As soon as they were about to look up, "Alina!" her name echoed once more, and she saw herself back in the garden.
