A week passed by since Akane received the memories of his old world and gained Dream Manipulation. In the past week, Akane trained his body and chakra control in the morning, practised Calligraphy and learned theoretical knowledge in the evening, and got proficient in using Dream Manipulation at night.
For now, he only accesses the dreams of people in the neighbourhood and in the past week, four couples had a fight because their partners were cheating on them.
When Kana got to know about the situation, she wondered if it would be better to leave the place and stay somewhere, but in the end, she resisted the thought as this place was safer for them.
Even though she talked about Fuinjutsu to Akane, Kana thought that he would lose interest sooner or later since Fuinjutsu is boring and there are many things to memorize.
Besides, practising calligraphy is hard since they need to master it to a certain level before anyone can start Fuinjutsu Training.
However, it seems her thoughts were incorrect and even after a week, Akane maintained the same enthusiasm while learning and practising calligraphy.
With the way he improved, Kana understood that in a month or two, he would be ready. Then she could start the real Fuinjutsu training and teach him about seals and formations.
Still, she was happy that her son was an obedient and hard-working child, and this way, he wouldn't have any problems in future.
"Aka-chan, it's time for dinner," Kana shouted as she served the dishes, and in the room, Akane, who was practising calligraphy, paused.
He kept everything aside and went to the room to eat with her. After the prayer, the duo started to eat and in between, Kana said, "You have mastered Tree-Walking and Water-Walking already, right?"
Akane nodded at her words, and Kana continued, "Since you have an interest in Fuinjutsu, I will tell you other abilities that Uzumaki are good at."
"Not only Fuinjutsu, but just like Senju, we also have good physique, which you have noticed and since we have a large amount of chakra reserves, we can use it to enhance ourselves and fight with others."
Kana said with a nostalgic look on her face but then a frown appeared on her face as she thought of the event that happened in past.
"I noticed your physical training, which is great, but it may not yield results in the long run. I will show you something Fuinjutsu can do in the morning."
Akane looked at his mother and asked, "What, Kaa-chan?"
"Haha, it's a secret for now and you will know in future. For now, just listen to what I say. Besides chakra and good physique, Uzumaki also has some abilities that not many can awaken."
"Eh?" Akane said with a look of interest appearing on his face and he didn't think that his mother was aware of them.
'It seems Kaa-Chan is much stronger than I thought, and she knows far more than I can think.'
Akane thought in his mind and he listened to Kana's words.
"Adamantine Sealing Chains, Kagura's Mind Eye, and Heal Bite. These three are similar to Kekkai Genkai and the one who can awaken these three is considered as most gifted genius of Uzumaki."
"The last one who awakened the three was Mito Uzumaki, who is the wife of the First Hokage of Konoha."
Akane's eyes flickered at her words and said, "Then, Kaa-Chan, can't we just go to Konoha and live with her instead of being here?"
A complicated look appeared on Kana's face and she shook her head, "Everyone changes with time, and even if Mito-Sama didn't change, the people around her must have changed."
"Going to Konoha can be safe but I don't want to since I know that we will lose the freedom we have here. Besides, some things aren't as simple as you might think, and remember what I am saying."
"Even if they were our allies, it's all in past. In this world, if you can trust someone in the first meeting, then it would be either any Uzumaki or Senju."
"Beside them, you should keep your guard against everyone and since you have pin hair instead of red, you won't be considered as Uzumaki if you won't tell your name."
"I have already considered your surname as Yanagi instead of Uzumaki and when I am not here, you can call yourself Akane Yanagi."
"Uh?" Akane said with a confused look on his face as he looked at Kana.
"Where are you going, Kaa-Chan?" He asked with a frown on his face and Kana said, "Haha! Who said I am going somewhere? It's not about me but you."
"Do you want to spend your life on this island? I believe that you will leave one day and spread your wings to fly away."
Kana said with a laugh and she rubbed Akane's cheeks and spread his mouth to remove the frown on his face.
"Wouldn't it be better to come with me, Kaa-Chan?" Akane asked with a flicker in his eyes and Kana giggled at his words.
"Our little Aka-Chan can't separate from his Kaa-Chan?"
"No," Akane said straightforwardly, and Kana paused for a second. A sweet smile appeared on her face, and she rubbed Akane's hair and messed it up.
"Then I will just accept your words and stay with you forever," Kana said and Akane nodded at her words. The duo then continued their dinner and Kana talked about Uzumaki Abilities and how they worked.
After dinner, Akane went into his room and lay down on the bed. The conversation with his mother appeared in his mouth and a frown appeared on his face.
'That sounded like a death-flag,'
Akane thought and only then he understood why he felt weird as he talked with her. These types of conversations usually happened before the start of tragedy and even though it might just be his paranoia and overthinking, Akane didn't like the situation.
'It's time to know more about Kagura's Mind Eye and it can be used to keep an eye on the surroundings and know if some Ninja have arrived on the Island.'
Akane thought in his mind, and he closed his eyes. Appearing in his Dreamspace, Akane thought of Kushina Uzumaki and the little red-haired girl in his memories.
The surroundings changed and Akane found himself in a place he had in his memories.
"I am Kushina Uzumaki," Kushina said while introducing herself, and Akane knew that dream was about her first day at school.
"Eh? Red hair?" "How can they be so red? "Haha, they look like Tomato."
The kids in the room started to talk, and hearing them, Akane snorted in response. These little kids don't know how cute the red-haired girls look, and he manipulated the dream and added himself to the place.
"Ignore the idiots, your red hair looks good and you are cute," Akane said and the room became silent at his words.
The boys, who were about to retort, froze when they saw it was Akane, the Pink-Haired Akuma and Kushina's expression changed at his words.
"Hello, I am Akane Yanagi, nice to meet you, Kushina Uzumaki," Akane said with a smile on his face, and Kushina, who was frozen by the words, took his hand with redface.
"How cute," She heard his words and Kushina looked down at his words with a blush on her face.
"Kushina Uzumaki, you can sit with Akane." The Teacher in charge said while sighing, and he only hoped that Kushina wouldn't get influenced by Akane. Kushina nodded at his words, and since she had a better impression of Akane because of his words, she sat beside him.
Akane skipped the boring lectures and the time of recess arrived. Looking at Kushina beside him, his eyes flickered and Akane said, "Kushina, Can I call you that?"
"Mm, I will call you Akane then," Kushina said after thinking for a second and she heard him speak, "Are you Uzumaki from Uzushiogakure?"
"Eh? You know?" Kushina asked, and Akane nodded at her words.
"My mother is Uzumaki, and I got this hair from her. A pity that something happened and my hair turned pink, instead of red like yours."
"Eh? Other Uzumaki live here?" Kushina asked with an excited look on her face and then she looked at his pink hair.
"But, you look quite good and they seem better than mine," Kushina said as she touched his hair, and Akane chuckled at her words.
"Nah, Nah! Your hair looks good and as I said before, you look quite cute. But, if you bind them in a ponytail or other hairstyle, you will look much better."
Akane said while shaking his head, and her expression changed at his words with a blush appearing on her face.
"Ehehe, will it?" Kushina said with a giggle and Akane nodded at her words.
"Still, it must be easy for you to awaken Kagura's Mind eye since you are pure-blooded Uzumaki," Akane said with a sigh and Kushina shook her head. Since she learned that Akane is also a Uzumaki, she let her guard down and answered what she knew.
"It's not like that. Surely, they do say that awakening of Kagura's Mind eye in Pure Blood is high, but I haven't awakened it, so you can't say that I will awaken in future."
Kushina said while shaking his head and Akane had a thoughtful look on his face.
"Still, the awakening conditions are really strict, you need to do a lot of training and train your perception. My mom said I don't need to worry about it since if it will awaken, it will awaken naturally."
"But, I want to speed up and surprise her," Akane said while looking down and he won't deny that he did want to surprise her and have some sense of security with a Perception Technique.
"Uh Huh!" Kushina couldn't say anything else as she pondered over the words.
"Anyways, let's stop talking about the matter. Tell me about yourself, and how's your life been in Konoha?"
Akane said when he noticed Kushina stopped speaking, and his words broke her out of her reverie.
"It's okay, Grandma takes care of me, but sometimes I can't help but think about Uzushiogakure."
Kushina said while looking down and she wondered how could she talk about these to someone she had met only once.
'Maybe it's because he is also Uzumaki,'
Kushina thought and she saw Akane listening to her words seriously. She started to talk about random things she did and noticed Akane's expression. Not once did he show an annoyed expression, and before she knew it, the recess ended, and the classes started again.
When the Academy ended, Akane said goodbye to Kushina and left the Academy. He ended the dream instead of moving around, and in the dream space, Akane sighed.
"It was more difficult than I thought, either she didn't know as I didn't notice the change in her expression or she didn't say. Anyways, I hadn't expected to know on first chance."
Akane muttered with a thoughtful look on his face. He didn't think of contacting Mito, or maybe he could.
"Mm, I think it can work," Akane muttered with a thoughtful look on his face and a plan started to form in his mind. He knew that Mito would notice that something was wrong with the dream, but she surely wouldn't be able to find him.
"Well, let's wait for some time and then I will see if I should contact her," Akane muttered and he thought of a white-haired woman in the Moon, and soon he appeared in a dark space.
Then, Akane saw a horizontal Rinne-Sharingan Eye in a dark space and he immediately dropped the dream space.
"So scary."
Akane muttered while panting as the pressure from the Eye made him feel tiny. A drowsy feeling appeared in his mind as most of the spiritual energy was used when he left the place and Akane fell asleep without him knowing anything.
Inside the moon, Kaguya, who had been asleep for a long time, opened her eyes and she muttered, "A pink-haired kid, who recognized my Eye and left as soon as I was about to stop him."
Kaguya was sure that she was somewhere else for a moment and as soon as the boy left, she returned back to her place.
"Doesn't matter, if he comes again, then I will think more," Kaguya muttered while closing her eyes and she went to sleep while waiting for her chance to get out of the Seal.
