Another week passed by.
Akane, who got the notes and information about Kagura's Mind Eye, practised the method that could increase the awakening of Kagura's Mind Eye.
Besides this, he also gained information about Adamantine Sealing Chains, and he got to know that the Adamantine Chains required Fuinjutsu. This made Akane frown, and he wondered if Karin learned Fuinjutsu from Orochimaru as he remembered watching the scene when Karin awakened her chains in war.
Still, it was good for him, and now besides calligraphy, he added two techniques and Tsunade's method to his practice.
However, Akane didn't forget his visits to Kaguya in Moon and Kushina in Konoha. He used the time with Kaguya to relax, trained together with Kushina and learned different things with her.
At first, Kushina frowned when he asked about training together, but when they trained and studied together, she started to like the feeling of having someone beside you and studying with you.
If she didn't understand something, she would ask Akane, and if he didn't get something, she would explain to him.
Just like every day, today too, Kushina was pulled into a dream, not knowing that someone was keeping an eye on her.
Kushina's weird behaviour and the changes were noticed by Mito. She found out that Kushian focused more on memorising and seeing everything, instead of learning one by one, as if she wanted to tell the information word to word to someone else.
Also, Mito noticed that Kushina would sometimes lose herself in thoughts and call out 'A-Chan' with a giggle and sweet smile on her face.
She thought it must be someone from the Academy but Mito got to know that Kushina spent most of her time in the Academy while sleeping and there was no one whom she called A-Chan.
This made Mito frown and worried about her situation, so she decided to check on her and see if she had some problem.
Appearing in her room, when Mito was sure that Kushina was asleep, she opened her eyes. Looking at her pupils who moved here and there, Mito understood that she was dreaming and that she put her hand on her forehead.
A conflicted look appeared on Mito's face as she thought of what she was going to do, but thinking of Kushina's weird situation, Mito suppressed the guilt and entered her dream using a secret technique that Tobirama had created in past.
It was used to get information from captives, but it required strong Spiritual Energy. As soon as Tobirama noticed that the technique would get better the more spiritual energy one has, he cleared away the records after Mito learned the technique so that Uchiha wouldn't ever know about the technique.
In the dream space, Akane's expression changed when he noticed someone trying to enter the dream.
He didn't think that Kushina had told anyone about him, but someone must have noticed something unusual with her.
"It happened earlier than I thought," Akane muttered and Kushina, who heard the words, looked at him.
"Did something happen, A-chan?" Kushina asked and Akane nodded at her.
"Someone must have found your behaviour unusual and now they are trying to enter the dream," Akane said with a flicker in his eyes and a look of horror appeared on Kushina's face.
"A-chan, I didn't tell anyone about you," Kushina said hurriedly and Akane patted her cheeks.
"I know, You don't need to worry. I will see how they are. If it's Mito-Sama, I will accept her but if it's someone else, I will reject them."
Akane said and Kushina looked at him for a moment and didn't say anything. She didn't want to lose her only friend, so Kushina could only pray that everything would be good.
Akane let the person and when he saw it was Mito, Akane sighed in relief. Appearing in a white place, Mito frowned and she saw a pink-haired boy appearing in her vision.
Mito didn't say anything and seeing her like this, Akane opened his mouth and said, "Akane Uzumaki has met Mito-Sama."
A strange look appeared on Mito's face as she heard the words and she saw him continuing.
"The place you are in is a dream space I can control and currently it is connected to Kushi-chan's dream."
"Since you entered her dream, I can contact you and meet you."
"Where is Kushina?" Mito asked with a frown on her space and she saw the place changing. Mito appeared in the room and she looked at the scrolls on the table that was about Fuinjutsu. Then, she looked at Kushina sitting in front of her with a look of fear in her eyes.
Mito felt weird when she noticed that the fear was directed against her, instead of that Pink-haired boy who called himself Akane Uzumaki.
"Kushina, can you explain what is going on?" Mito asked in a calm tone and Kushina looked down in response. Akane appeared in the room and he looked at Kushina who looked down and Mito who looked at him coldly.
A sigh escaped his lips as he looked at Mito and said, "Mito-sama, you don't believe my words, right?"
Mito nodded at his words. She could feel that the space was fragile and she could break it and awaken Kushina anytime. But, she didn't know if it would hurt her, so Mito wanted to look into the matter first calmly.
"Is it because I don't have red hair? Or, because you don't think that any other Uzumaki escaped from the destruction except Kushina, who was been rescued because they needed the next Nine tails Jinchuuriki?"
Akane asked with a smile on his face, and a look of horror appeared on Kushina's face as she heard his words. She didn't expect him to know about her being the next Nine Tails Jinchuuriki and the words gave her a bad feeling.
Mito's eyes turned cold as she heard the words and she wanted to strike first but the pained face of Kushina made her stop and had her think calmly.
"I won't say that I care about Uzu, since I have lived with my mother alone on an island, but your silence says that Konoha was involved in matter."
"I heard my mom speak about you and her words had certain respect for you, but when I asked why we can't go to Konoha, she said that even if Mito-Sama hasn't changed, the people around her have changed."
"She also said that you can trust any Senju and Uzumaki if you meet even once and beware of others even if you have met for a long time."
"If it was someone else, I would have kicked them out, instead of letting them enter here and the only reason why I accepted is because it's you."
Akane said while shaking his head and Mito could feel that he was speaking the truth since she didn't feel any ill intentions from him. A frown appeared on her face as she pondered over his words and asked, "Even if you are Uzumaki, how are you here?"
"Kekkai Genkai," Akane said. Mito wanted to know more but he didn't say anything. Looking at the silent Akane and fearful eyes of Kushina, Mito wanted to tell him to stop the ability but she couldn't say because of Kushina's expression.
"I can accept this but only if I am here when you use your ability on Kushina," Mito said and Kushina's expression changed at her words. Her eyes widened with a stunned look on her face, and Akane accepted the words.
"I want you to teach me the same as how you teach Kushina, as Mito Uzumaki, not one from Konoha," Akane said and Mito looked at him for a moment. A hum escaped her lips as she accepted the words and Mito said, "I will leave and you can pull me here as you pull her."
"You have to sleep first," Akane said, and Mito understood why Kushina slept in the Academy most of the time.
Leaving the dream, Mito looked at Kushina and she decided to sleep beside her. She put a genjutsu on herself that forced her to sleep, and Mito found herself in a familiar place from before.
