Chapter 20 - Chapter 20 : Trip With Wanda?!

---

"What's up?"

Finn looked at the witch's melancholic eyes, and under the warm orange light, her face seemed to be veiled in a delicate layer of tulle, which made one feel an uncontrollable urge to uncover it further.

She exuded a faint fragrance, subtly mixed with the scent of wine.

The atmosphere in the room gradually shifted, becoming increasingly tense and strange...

"Ahem, it's actually not a big deal..." Wanda spoke, sensing the change and hurriedly coughing twice as she sat up straighter.

She didn't know why, but her chest was throbbing violently, and even after taking several deep breaths, she couldn't calm it.

"If it's okay, I'll head back first," Finn said, panicking.

The room felt heavy.

A beautiful woman with fair skin, a remarkable figure, and a slightly tipsy demeanor sat across from him, breathing deeply...

Finn wondered if Wanda was aware of the effect her presence had on him.

It was difficult for a man, especially in this situation.

"No, actually, I just wanted to invite you to travel to Venice with me," Wanda suddenly blurted out.

At the mention of the word "travel," Finn froze, utterly confused.

"Me? You want me to come with you?" He looked at Wanda in disbelief, as the strange mood in the room only deepened.

Before he entered, he had sensed something was off about her. And now, to hear that she wanted him to join her on a trip to Venice left him puzzled.

Why?

Finn's face was full of confusion. "Wanda, are you sure you weren't affected by Chaos Magic? Or did something else... hit you too hard?"

"Don't talk nonsense," Wanda quickly interrupted, clearly flustered. "It's nothing like that. I just want to start over, find a place to relax. I bought a package to Venice from a travel agency."

Fearing that he might misunderstand, she hastily explained and pulled out two Papers from her pocket, each showcasing beautiful images of Venice.

She continued, "Finn, you're my only friend here. Would you come with me?"

Finn hesitated for a moment, then nodded. "Alright."

Though it sounded absurd, he hadn't left Westview Town since arriving in the Marvel Universe.

Staying in town, waiting for the perfect time to hide... Now, the beautiful Scarlet Witch was inviting him.

And how could he pass up an opportunity to accompany a stunning woman on a trip?

Besides, this could be a chance to meet Spider-Man or Mysterio, two rookies in the world of heroes—one full of potential, and the other crafty and dangerous.

"You're so kind, Finn," Wanda smiled at him, her eyes gleaming in the dim light.

Her smile, flirtatious and playful, sent a jolt through Finn's mind. "This month with you has been the happiest since I returned from Blip," she added, her voice soft and tinged with genuine affection.

Finn found himself momentarily lost in her gaze. He had to admit that Wanda's appearance in this universe was different from the one he had seen on TV.

She was more refined, with a strong American bone structure, yet still radiated an aura of mischief.

It was often said that the more powerful a witch was, the more beautiful she became, with an overwhelming charm that drew people in.

And Wanda Maximoff? She was the living embodiment of that legend.

Even the smallest, unintended gestures could lead someone to lose control.

"Ahem... ahem..." Wanda coughed again, snapping Finn out of his trance.

Realizing he had been staring, Finn quickly regained his composure, now embarrassed. "Wanda, you know... you're easily satisfied. I'll come with you, but I hope this trip helps you find something to focus on... a new goal in life."

"It's late, I should go," Finn said hurriedly, his tone a bit rushed as he stood up to leave.

He was genuinely afraid that if he stayed any longer, he might not be able to control himself.

"Good night, Finn," Wanda said with a smile, watching his flustered exit.

As the door closed, she pulled out the envelope from her pocket.

The travel agency paperwork was inside, and on the cover, the words "Couple Pass" were written boldly.

She tucked the papers back into her pocket, her slightly tipsy eyes glimmering mischievously as she muttered to herself, "I forgot to mention, I've already found a new goal."

Meanwhile, in another part of the world...

Mexico, Tlaxcala.

Out in the vast desert, a black SUV raced across the yellow dirt road, kicking up dust and debris in its wake.

The strong winds swept through, quickly splitting the dust clouds as the vehicle sped onward.

Minutes later, the SUV reached a ruined town, its buildings collapsed into piles of rubble.

The few survivors stumbled out of the ruins, many limping or showing signs of pain.

The town had clearly just endured a catastrophe.

Crack... boom!

A black man stepped out of the vehicle, scanning the destruction around him.

"Fury, every disaster isn't the end of the world... it's just one big hurricane," Agent Hill, who had been sitting in the co-pilot seat, remarked.

"A hurricane People have been reporting seeing a human face in the hurricane, and now it's happening in multiple locations across Mexico," Nick Fury muttered, a frown darkening his face as he searched the ruins for any signs of what might have happened.

Suddenly, the ground trembled.

Boom! Boom!

The faint rumbling quickly turned into a violent shake, as if an earthquake was approaching.

Panic spread through the crowd of refugees as they ran for cover.

"Motherfucker..." Nick Fury muttered, instinctively reaching for the gun at his waist.

He turned toward the shaking ruins behind him, preparing for whatever came next.

Boom!

An enormous figure erupted from the ground, rising like a titan, towering over everything around it.

"Fury, you were right," Agent Hill remarked, her voice shaking with fear.

"Shit, what the hell is that?" Fury muttered, a scowl forming as he prepared to take action.

Before he could raise his gun, he heard a strange noise behind him.

Turning around, he saw a cloud of green mist appearing out of thin air, followed by a fishbowl-shaped helmet hovering overhead.

A man in a battle uniform strode out, completely unfazed by the chaos.

"Although I don't know where the hell I am, I'll still say it: Get out of the way, I'll deal with this guy!" Mysterio said, his voice muffled by the helmet as he took it off, only to replace it almost immediately.

With a swift movement, Mysterio sprayed green mist from his suit and rushed toward the giant creature in the distance.

Nick Fury watched in disbelief as the two figures collided, realizing the situation was about to spiral far beyond expectations.

"Motherfucker, who is this guy with the fishbowl on his head?" Fury muttered, his frustration clear as he observed the chaotic scene unfolding before him.
