Chapter 21 - Chapter 21 : Peter

Westview Town.

Next morning.

The sky was bright, and the sun shone faintly. The weather was slightly cool at six o'clock, and most people were still curled up in bed, sound asleep.

Crack... Crack

However, early in the morning, there was a knock on Finn's door.

"Finn, hurry up! We still have to drive to New York to catch the afternoon flight."

Wanda was carrying a suitcase, her pretty face full of anticipation for the trip.

"Wanda, you're powerful. You should just use magic to get us to New York so I can sleep for half an hour longer."

Finn glanced at the time. He usually wakes up at 6:30, but today, he was forced to get up at 5:30 to wash up and prepare his luggage.

"We're traveling, not on an Avengers mission, so don't expect me to use magic."

Wanda pushed him into the elevator. "Hurry up, you can sleep in the car."

When they got downstairs, the taxi had been waiting for a while.

Just as the two of them got into the car, a window on the eighth floor of the apartment opened.

Agatha leaned out halfway, her voice ringing out, "Where are you going?"

"Travel."

Finn was still a little groggy, but when he saw Agatha, he immediately became alert.

He had almost forgotten about the old witch. Now that Wanda was traveling with him, would Agatha misunderstand the situation?

Before Finn could think too much, the taxi driver stepped on the gas pedal, and the car sped off like a runaway wild horse.

In a flash, the car disappeared into the horizon of the street.

" Strachy, this damn guy actually took Wanda away. Should we follow him?"

Agatha Nicks stroked the rabbit in her arms, black aura flashing in her eyes as she stared in the direction the car had disappeared.

Westview Town is located in a relatively remote area.

Even with the highway to New York City, it would take a whole morning to get there without stopping to rest.

But New York City's international airport is the closest one to Westview Town.

Other international airports can only be found in Los Angeles, which is farther away.

Along the way, Finn slept almost the entire time—not because he was lazy, but because the long drive was too boring and always made him sleepy.

Wanda, who was sitting next to him, didn't seem bored at all.

She enjoyed the scenery along the way from the beginning of the ride and occasionally took pictures to show him.

Maybe Wanda's heart had been suppressed for too long, and now that she was gradually being freed, she behaved happily like a child in certain things.

But after a few hours, she too fell asleep in a daze.

"Why..."

Finn woke up to find Wanda, the witch, curled up on the chair, sleeping peacefully. He shook his head helplessly.

Wanda didn't lose control, and there were no tragic outcomes.

But everything seemed to be heading in the other direction.

He couldn't figure out the direction, but he knew he couldn't figure out Wanda's mind right now.

"Forget it. Since you're here, let's enjoy the trip to Venice first."

Finn was an optimist by nature. The premise of working in his previous life was to enjoy life.

The same applied now that he was in the Marvel universe.

He hoped this trip wouldn't disappoint.

Afternoon.

New York International Airport.

Waiting area.

"Finn, wait here. I'm going to buy two bottles of water."

Wanda put down her suitcase, turned hurriedly, and walked toward the convenience store.

"It's finally time to register."

Finn stood there, bored, looking at the registration instructions. He'd sat in a car all morning, and now he was about to board a plane.

Suddenly, he realized that traveling wasn't as fun as it seemed...

Bump!

Just as he was thinking, a figure with his head lowered suddenly bumped into him from the side.

"Oh, sorry, sir! I didn't see you standing there."

Peter Parker looked embarrassed. He had been found in his Spider-Man suit during the security check, and the staff had definitely taken it for a baby's pajama.

He blamed Aunt May for packing the suit in the suitcase without his permission, and he had been grumbling about it ever since.

Unexpectedly, he accidentally bumped into someone.

"It's okay"

Finn looked up and froze.

Because he recognized the boy in front of him: it was Peter Parker.

He couldn't believe it—he had just mentioned the little Spider-Man the night before, and now he ran into him today!

"Sir, I'm really sorry about earlier."

Peter Parker was relieved when he saw the man wasn't angry.

"Peter? What are you doing here?"

At that moment, Wanda, who had just returned from the convenience store, was surprised to see Peter.

"Wanda?! I can't believe I'd meet you here!"

Peter was equally surprised.

He and Wanda were both Avengers. They had met at the Avengers base, and even became enemies during the Avengers Civil War.

"My friend and I are going on a trip to Venice."

Wanda said, then turned to explain to Finn, "Peter is the nephew of a friend of mine."

"Hello, my name is Finn."

Finn didn't reveal much—after all, little Spider-Man had to keep his identity safe.

He wouldn't be causing any trouble, not while enjoying his trip.

As the boarding time neared, the three chatted for a while before lining up to board the plane. To their surprise, they were on the same flight.

And even more coincidentally, they were seated near each other.

"Do you think we'll be staying at the same hotel?" Finn couldn't help but tease.

To his amusement, his words turned out to be true.

When they arrived at the hotel, and Finn and Wanda entered through the side door, they happened to see Peter walking in with his classmates.

"Finn, your mouth is too sharp."

Wanda couldn't help but smile.

"Looks like we're fated to meet your friend's nephew," Finn grinned.

Finn didn't mind at all. In fact, he was happy because it gave him a chance to witness a real-life superhero movie, starring none other than Mysterio.

It was going to be a movie—literally!

"Wanda, what room are we in? I'm a little tired after flying all day."

He stretched, looking exhausted.

"I need to tell you something. Be mentally prepared."

Wanda lowered her head slightly, looked at the paper in her hand, and her expression turned a little grim.

It seemed like she had overlooked something.

"Go ahead."

Finn was too tired to notice Wanda's sudden change in demeanor.

He stretched again.

However, in the next second, Wanda's words froze him.

"Because the hotel has arranged rooms for us, the two of us only have one room."
