I had a very nice dream. When I woke up the sun was already up. I quickly had my bath and wore a set of black t-shirt and blue jeans. I started to clean the house while whistling happily. Then I heard a knock on the door. When I went to open it I saw Ben.
"Hi Wendy. How was your night?" Ben said with a questioning look (or should I say a worried look). 'Oh my gosh who am I kidding? Ben.... Looking at me with a worried look.' I thought to myself while laughing.
This time Ben looked at me with a worried look. 'I know right... Who wouldn't look at a woman who is laughing at nothing at all'
"Is everything ok... Wendy?"
This time I curbed the laughter and cleared my throat.
"Mhm... Yes everything's fine." I said then suddenly I remembered "Oh my goodness, I am so sorry. Forgive my poor manners. Please... Come in".
I widened my gate so that he could enter which he did. I quickly told him to sit down. After a while of looking at each other awkwardly, I decided to start a conversation
"So.... I would like to ask.... Um ..... Can you tell me... Why you came here?" I said with an awkward smile on my face.
Then it was like he was in an off mode and I just turned him on with the question that I asked.
"Um..... Yes I..... Um .... I brought this here for you" he said while gesturing at the white bag that was beside him.
That was when I noticed that he brought a white bag in. He gave the bag to me.
"This is for you" he said.
I checked inside the bag and saw cooked food in different containers. There was three containers in the bag and each and every one of it was full of food. Like.... It was packed. I opened one of the containers and oh my gosh, it smelled so good.
"Thank you.... I swear..... I would definitely pay you back for everything" I said while having tears in my eyes. It has been a very long time since someone has been nice to me. I have never felt this way in the last two weeks and I swear that I was going to pay them back and also protect them from any harm.
"So... I would be taking my leave" Ben said while getting up from the chair. And that was when I remembered about Oliver. So I quickly asked
"Ben..... Wait". Ben looked at me and I knew that he was probably wondering why I stopped him. "Um ... Mhm ..... What about Oliver? I did not see him. Are you guys fighting?" I asked while looking at him with a questioning look.
Then Ben chuckled for a while and then he said
"I really thought that the reason why you stopped me was a very difficult thing. I didn't know that you want to ask about Oliver. But.... Anyway.... Oliver is doing great and the reason why he couldn't come today was because he is doing a part time job. We definitely didn't fight."
Then he told me goodbye but as soon as he started leaving I called his name again and then he turned and looked at me. Then I asked the very question that I wanted to ask
