Chapter 6: Aftermath
Min soo pulled up to Ji hyun's apartment building and helped her out of the car. She was still rambling on about his arrogant character, completely unaware of her surroundings.
As they reached the door, Ah rim, Ji hyun's roommate, opened it and raised an eyebrow at the sight of Ji hyun's drunken state.
"Thanks for bringing her home," Ah rim said, taking Ji hyun from Min soo. "I've got this."
Min soo nodded and turned to leave, but not before catching Arim's curious gaze. He knew Ah rim was wondering what had happened between him and Ji hyun.
As Min soo drove back to his place, he couldn't shake off Ji hyun's words. She had called him arrogant, self-centered, and ruthless. Her words stung, but he refused to let them get to him.
Meanwhile, J ihyun woke up the next morning with a pounding headache and a sense of dread. She slowly sat up and looked around, trying to remember what had happened the night before.
And then it hit her – the party, the drinks, and Min soo. She groaned, covering her face with her hands.
