Chapter 7: An Unexpected Encounter
Ji hyun's face burned with embarrassment as she remembered the previous night's events. "I'm such a failure!" she shouted, burying her face in her pillow.
Arim, her roommate, rushed into the room, concern etched on her face. "Ji hyun, what's wrong?"
Ji hyun sat up, her eyes welling up with tears. "I made a fool of myself in front of Min soo u. I don't know what to do."
Ah rim sat down beside her and wrapped a comforting arm around her shoulders. "It's okay, Ji hyun. We've all been there. Just forget about it and move on."
But Ji hyun couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment. She got ready for work, still reeling from the previous night's events.
Meanwhile, Min soo sat in his office, his mind wandering back to Ji hyun's drunken ramblings. He couldn't believe she had called him arrogant and self-centered.
Just as he was starting to get lost in thought, his driver interrupted him. "Sir, we have a situation on the road."
Min soo looked up to see Ji hyun standing in the middle of the road, looking frazzled. His car had stopped just inches from her.
Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other.
