Chapter 25: The Attack
Ethan's eyes scanned the room, his mind racing with the implications of the attack. The alarms were blaring, and the lights were flickering wildly.
Sarah grabbed his arm. "We have to get out of here, now!" she yelled.
Ethan nodded, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that they had to act fast if they were going to survive.
Alex, the mole, was standing frozen in terror, his eyes fixed on the screens in front of him.
Ethan's anger flared up, but he pushed it aside. They could deal with Alex later.
"Let's move!" Ethan yelled, grabbing Sarah's hand and pulling her towards the door.
As they ran, the alarms grew louder, and the lights flickered more wildly. Ethan could feel the floor shaking beneath his feet.
They burst through the door, slamming it shut behind them. Ethan leaned against the door, panting heavily.
"What's happening?" Sarah asked, her eyes wide with fear.
Ethan shook his head. "I don't know, but we have to get out of here. Now."
