"Hi guys, how are you all? Hope you're doing well.
So, let's get started with today's episode of the story without any further delay.
As soon as Ibadat saw Shlok in front of her, a scream escaped her mouth. Her sleep had been completely shattered. She was looking at Shlok with fearful eyes. In a trembling voice, she asked, "Y-You... Who are you? And what are you doing in my room?"
Shlok, who was already fuming with anger, gritted his teeth and said, "This is my room!"
As soon as Ibadat heard this, she shakily got up to her feet. Her hands ached from the fall, but she tried to regain her composure and, in a soft voice, said, "B-but... this is our room. And what about my Sarnash? Where is he? Are you his elder brother?"
Ibadat continued to look at Shlok with fearful eyes. His terrifying gaze made her lose the courage to speak. It took all her strength to get those words out.
Hearing her, Shlok stepped toward her, grinding his teeth, and said, "This is my room, and your Sarnash..." His voice was full of anger and hatred.
The root cause of everything happening to Shlok today was Sarnash. If he never wanted to marry, then why did he say 'yes'? Because of Sarnash's escape, Shlok was now forced to marry a stranger. Just mentioning Sarnash's name made Shlok's voice even more terrifying."
Ibadat couldn't speak a word. Looking at her, Shlok said, "Your Sarnash ran away!"
Saying this, Shlok quickly walked towards the closet. Hearing this, Ibadat stared at him in shock as he walked away, unable to say anything.
Once she understood what Shlok had just said, she screamed, "What nonsense are you talking? How can you say that? Tell me, where is our Sarnash?"
Saying this, Ibadat ran to the closet door, but as soon as she reached it, Shlok had already closed the door behind him.
Ibadat banged on the door with her small hands, saying, "Listen! Why won't you tell me? Where is our Sarnash? And why did you come into our room like this? Go to your own room and tell Sarnash to come to us quickly. Otherwise, we will be angry with him!"
Ibadat continued to cry as she pounded on the door. She had dreamed of her wedding and her wedding night countless times. But everything that was happening now was completely opposite to her dreams.
Inside the closet, Shlok had already changed into his clothes. His intoxication was gradually wearing off, but hearing Ibadat's voice only fueled his anger. He buttoned up his shirt and jerked open the door.
As soon as the door opened, Ibadat fell back to the floor. Once again, a scream escaped her mouth, and tears flowed from her eyes like water.
Ibadat cried out, "You're crazy! I'm in pain!"
With great difficulty, she managed to get back on her feet. Shlok angrily approached her, grabbed her arm, and shouted, "Pain? You're in pain? And what about my pain, the one that's because of you?"
Saying this, Shlok pointed to his heart. Hearing this, Ibadat innocently replied, "But... I didn't do anything."
Upon hearing her, Shlok's eyes filled with hatred. He tightened his grip on her arm and, with a voice full of hatred, said, "You've ruined my whole life. And now you're telling me you didn't do anything? I hate you... your face. You've ruined everything!"
Saying this, Shlok shoved Ibadat. This time, she fell directly onto the bed.
In his anger, Shlok picked up the letter from the side table and threw it at Ibadat's face, saying, "Here, look at what your Sarnash did!"
After being shoved for the third time, Ibadat steadied herself. Angrily, she glared at Shlok, but when she saw that he had thrown the letter at her, she quickly picked it up and started to open it.
Shlok continued to glare at her in anger. Ibadat slowly began to read the letter. As she read, her hands began to tremble. Tears started to fall rapidly from her eyes.
Shlok was still staring at her in anger. Ibadat's mouth was completely shut. The tears flowing from her eyes now told the story of pain and helplessness.
By the time Ibadat had finished reading the letter, she seemed lifeless. She couldn't say a word. Shlok kept glaring at her with fury. Finally, Ibadat gathered all her courage and, crying, said, "No, my Sarnash couldn't have done this. He couldn't have. If he wasn't there, then who did I marry... who did I marry? He was there at the wedding. You're lying. He was there at the wedding."
Hearing Ibadat's words, Shlok shouted, "Just shut up! You married me. Got it? But don't ever think I'll consider you my wife. Never. Even if you die, I won't consider you my wife."
As soon as Ibadat heard that she had married Shlok, she lifted her face and looked at him, shouting, "You're lying! Liar!" With all her strength, Ibadat pushed herself off the bed and stood up. She tightly held the letter in her hand. Her small face was soaked with tears. She still couldn't believe that Sarnash had done this to her.
Seeing her shout like this made Shlok even more furious. Though his intoxication had lessened, it hadn't completely worn off. He absolutely hated when anyone raised their voice at him. And to top it off, this girl, who he hated the most in the world, was shouting at him. How could he tolerate that?
Shlok angrily walked up to Ibadat, grabbed her hair, and gritted his teeth, saying, "Control your tongue! No one has the audacity to speak in front of Shlok Goenka. And you, who made a mockery of my life, think you can speak in front of me?"
The pain from Shlok grabbing her hair was excruciating for Ibadat. Crying, she said, "Let go of my hair! Let go!" As she said this, she began scratching his hand with her nails. Seeing her do this only fueled Shlok's anger even more. He yanked her hair hard and said, "Know your place!"
Ibadat lifted her face, looked at Shlok, and, crying, said, "You're lying. I married Sarnash. He's playing a joke on us, isn't he? Tell me, he's just joking, right? Tell him to stop the joke now. It's been too long. Who does this to his beautiful wife?"
Ibadat still couldn't accept that Sarnash had run away after their marriage. How could she believe it? The boy who had been following her around like a madman, the one who had loved her like crazy for the past two years, how could he deceive her?
Seeing her act like this made Shlok even more furious. He grabbed her arm angrily and started pulling her. The force caused Ibadat to fall again, but Shlok didn't care. He dragged her to the balcony door. With a violent push, he shoved Ibadat outside the door and angrily said, "Stop your nonsense here. Hearing your voice is making me want to kill you. But for now, I can't do anything. So, stay as far away from me as you can. It will be better for you."
Saying this, he slammed the door in Ibadat's face.
Because of Shlok's push, Ibadat had fallen to the ground in the balcony. But at that moment, she couldn't say anything. She tightened her grip on the letter she was holding, lifted her face, and stared ahead, where Shlok had gone inside after closing the door and drawing the curtains. She couldn't see anything.
It was cold at that moment. As Ibadat entered the balcony, the chill hit her. She looked up, her small face wet with tears. Struggling, she managed to stand up. Her back was hurting badly. She had sustained a severe injury to her back from the fall. She opened the letter she was holding in her hand and curled up in a corner of the balcony, starting to read it. The more she read, the more it felt like a sharp knife was piercing her heart. She cried, "No, this is all a lie. This is a bad dream. I'll wake up, and the dream will break. This horrible dream. My Sarnash can't do this to me." Saying this, Ibadat was shaking uncontrollably.
Even now, holding the letter tightly, she was remembering Shlok's words. Her head was spinning badly. It felt like she was trapped in a deep, terrifying nightmare. She kept trying to reassure herself that once she woke up, this horrible dream would end.
"No, no, Ibadat, get up... get up!"
Muttering to herself, she began slapping her cheeks. Her small cheeks had turned red from crying and slapping. The cold was so intense that her whole body was shaking, but at that moment, the pain in her heart was so deep that she couldn't even feel the pain in her body.
Meanwhile, in the room, Shlok was lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling. His eyes were filled with the image of Isha's face. He was recalling every moment when Isha had entered his life as a stranger. He remembered how he had insulted her, pushed her away. But every time, Isha's innocent smile had stayed with him. Even after being rejected repeatedly, Isha had never tried to leave him.
As he recalled everything, a painful smile appeared on Shlok's lips. He murmured softly, "I love you, Isha... I really love you. No matter what happens, I can't live without you." A faint moisture began to glisten in his eyes. "I'll never accept this marriage. Tomorrow, I'll tell you what's in my heart. I'm only yours, Isha."
Saying this, his eyes slowly closed.
On the other side, Ibadat was curled up on the cold floor of the balcony. Her tears wouldn't stop flowing. Her teeth were chattering, and she shivered with cold as she continued murmuring, "No, Sarnash... you can't do this. You loved me so much, didn't you? You can't do this to me. I'll die without you…"
She didn't have the strength to get up and beat on the door. Her eyes were gradually closing. With great difficulty, she whispered, "Sarnash... I love you," and lay on the floor in a faint daze. She still held the letter tightly in her hands.
In London:
On the stage of a famous bar, a young man, completely drunk, was dancing closely with two girls. He looked around 22-23 years old. His carefree attitude was evident in the way he moved and carried himself. There were a couple of other guys with him, also dancing with the girls.
Then one of the guys whispered into his ear, "Sarnash, have some shame. You ran away from home, leaving your beautiful bride alone at the mandap. Have you ever thought about how she's feeling?"
As soon as Sarnash heard this, he glared at the guy angrily and said, "It's my life, my choice. I'll do whatever I want. Who are you to tell me what to do?"
He then slipped his hand around a girl's waist and pulled her closer, saying, "Sweetheart, come closer to me."
The girl smiled and hung onto his arms. Sarnash, looking into her eyes, shamelessly said, "I know, I did wrong by you. But marriage... marriage is the biggest foolery. I can't give up my freedom for anyone. Ibadat, my love, I hope you forget me. And if you don't, I'll come back. Until then..."
A shameless smile appeared on his lips.
He hugged the girl and said, "Sweetheart, how about we go somewhere else and enjoy?"
The girl, with a sly smile, replied, "Of course, handsome."
The two of them stepped off the stage and started heading toward a private room.
The friends standing behind them exchanged glances and began laughing. One of them, Sahil, quietly said, "What a jerk this guy is."
Ashiyana Orphanage
Isha was pacing restlessly around the room. Vaishnavi, who was lying on the bed, spoke with a sleepy voice, "What's wrong with you? Why are you pacing around like this?"
Hearing Vaishnavi's voice, Isha softly replied, "Nothing... just feeling strange."
As she said this, Isha's anxiety began to increase.
Vaishnavi quickly sat up and moved closer to Isha. She handed her some water and asked, "What happened? Are you okay?"
Isha took a deep breath and said, "I don't know, it feels weird. The test results still haven't come. If they had, I would have understood why I've been feeling this way for the last few days."
Vaishnavi looked at her and said, "The reports came in this afternoon. Didn't you check them?"
Isha, upon hearing this, slapped her forehead. "Oh, I forgot! Where are the reports?"
Vaishnavi lightly tapped Isha's head and said, "Seriously, do you see anything other than Mr. Kadoos? You're always lost in his thoughts."
As Vaishnavi went to get the reports, Isha glared at her and said, "Don't call him Mr. Kadoos. He may appear grumpy, but he's really kind at heart."
A small smile appeared on Isha's face as she said this.
Vaishnavi took the reports from the cupboard and handed them to Isha, then collapsed on the bed. She closed her eyes and said, "Go ahead and read, my dear, since you're not planning on sleeping. I'm going to sleep now."
Saying this, Vaishnavi closed her eyes.
Isha opened the reports and started reading them slowly. As she read on, her eyes grew wider. In the end, her grip on the papers tightened. Two tears rolled down her cheeks.
That's all for today, the details of the reports will be revealed tomorrow. Till then, bye-bye!
