Before anything ever truly existed, there was nothing. There was only the cold expanse of space Stretched out to Infinity, and an infinite void of nothingness.
In this cold expanse, there were 2 Divine beings born into the space of the Great Infinite. 2 beings consisting of pure energy. Were they born out of pure luck? Born from their own will to live? Born out of Purpose from an even higher being? No one knows how they existed, we only that they did.
The 2 beings grew close together throughout their eternal lives. They bonded over their shared circumstance of existence. Living in complete peace for millions of eons. With each passing moment, they became more powerful as they both gained energy from the great Infinite. Soon They were able to bring things into existence with ease, creating big masses of Rocks and stones as they played throughout the expanse of the Great Infinite.
One moment in time, a divine being wanted to try something they never tried before. The other divine being was a bit skeptical of the activity at first but with time, they both agreed to give it a try.
The divine beings began to spin little avatars of pure energy into place on a big rock in the Infinite. As the beings spun their avatars they formed them into strange creatures that held themselves up with 2 legs. These avatars of pure energy shined bright throughout the darkness of the infinite, illuminating the void around them.
The beings then began pouring some of their power into the creatures, gifting them sight, hearing, and sentience. Once they granted their creatures sentience, they gave each of their avatars only one order. To destroy the other.
The avatars fought with such force that it even shocked the divine beings. Each strike wouldn't be the same. Each time their fists clashed together they learned from each other, becoming even more deadly with each moment that passed. They shoved and threw each other across the rock, fighting faster and faster without tire.
The divine beings were shocked and excited by the fury the avatars fought with. So they were obligated to help fuel the flames. They began to give the avatars more access to their power. The avatars would then begin to make weapons out of their creator's flesh to strike down the other. The avatars became faster, stronger, and more creative. The avatars flashed across the infinite, disappearing to another location after each strike. Each movement, stab, or slash was followed by brilliant white streaks, leaving tiny glowing embers among the stars with each attack they made.
The divine beings were stuck in complete awe at their creations, watching their fight light up the darkness of the infinite. They gave the avatars even more access to the power of the divine beings. Their swings became incredibly powerful, to the point where small shockwaves of energy emitted from the clashing blades. Even with this worrying and impressive display, the divine beings still cheered on their new creations as they attempted to tear each other apart.
Both of the avatars clashed their blades together in the center of the universe, The sheer power of the attack knocking them back in their respective directions. The clash left a cloud of sparkling white embers in its wake, but this did not deter the warriors. They dashed toward each other, ready to deliver the final blow of the battle to the other.
Their blades resulted in the final collision.
The sound of the clash echoed throughout the infinite.
The collision was followed by a giant flash of white light expanding throughout the great void, scattering all the white embers of energy and soulless rock among its vastness in mere instants
The flash lasted for an unknown number of centuries. Nothing but the bright light of the clash was visible for all that time, even to the divine beings themselves. But when the divine beings were able to see again they looked around not to see a great void, but a white-speckled sky dancing with burning embers and great planets throughout the expanse of the infinite. That battle was the birth of a new existence…
and a nightmare for the divine beings.
