The divine beings resented their newest creation. The divine beings saw it as unpredictable and a Danger to the Infinite and themselves. So they sought to correct it.
The divine beings spread throughout the galaxies killing all signs of life and destroying worlds, scorching the surfaces, and tearing down populations In seconds. With each passing year, The life on these planets became more advanced and more intelligent with each galaxy that the divine beings killed off. It eventually got to the point where even the divine beings themselves seemed to have problems, and had to rearrange their tactics.
The first divine being Found life peculiar. The Divine being was intrigued by how little subsections of their previously made avatars were able to exist and form their own worlds and communities. Gaining sentience from their will to live alone, a truly fascinating thing.
The second divine being Despised Life and all of its mini-creations. Life was unpredictable, uncontrollable, and determined to live. A horrible combination.
Though the divine beings started to have conflicting views they still fought on with their crusade against life.
Eventually after harsh battles and a massive series of near and total victories throughout the galaxies they Finally reached what the divine beings would call an anomaly.
The Divine beings in their past battles took out many planets, but they were barren and developing with harsh weather and rocky and underdeveloped surfaces, but this world was different.
A small planet with Luscious green plants and Flowing rivers of clean clear water spreading throughout the forests and fields of the surface. And life sprouting from every corner of the planet. One divine being was Astonished by the beauty of the planet, while it only fueled the rage of the other.
The divine beings first spread a Death mist over the planet's surface which was supposed to kill all life on it. But after the beings stopped their attack the planet was mostly dead except for a small patch of the surface being protected by a huge forcefield keeping all the plants and animals inside of its force safe.
The beings shrunk themselves and went to the surface of the planet, Then they saw something amazing. A giant forcefield projected around all of its creations, all from a massive tree that reached the skies and scraped the clouds. The Tree of Life.
This act of defiance from the creations of the divine angered one of them to the point where it turned into a massive monster, its pure white energy now being corrupted with jet-black rage. The monster broke its way through the forcefield and started to combat the native species of the planet with the other divine being assisting the monster's actions.
The native species were human-like, bound and covered by green plants that grew from the ground, beings connected to the very ground beneath their feet. The people of the planet fought bravely and mercilessly but were no match for the divine beings in their current state.
Then the monster summoned all of its strength and power. He poured it into its claws and raced towards the tree, no longer making an effort to kill all of the native creatures. The monster rips into the Tree of Life and shatters the structure in mere seconds reducing it to nothing but splinters and a broken stump.
Once the tree broke, the energy vacuum from the tree sucked in all of the untainted magic from the divine being's monster form and created a massive shock wave that shook the planet to its core.
Once the smoke cleared one of the divine beings lay there on the floor, weak and drained from the conflict, but so did the people of the planet. Everyone stood there weak and dying, the only person left was the divine being of light.
In an act of selflessness, the divine being stepped towards the stump of the tree and poured its energy into it, Returning life to not only this planet but all the planets the divine beings had ever touched, giving all the gift of Life.
In turn, this made the divine being of Light weak and drained, reducing it to a human-like state just to be able to keep a physical form.
The native people got up from their dying state and immediately used their newfound power to Remove the rest of the other divine being, claiming it to be Dark and evil They took away the being's physical form and locked its consciousness in a prison deep deep underground where no soul would have to bear the horror of the divine lord's Crimes anymore.
After sentencing the Dark divine being down into the Depths of the planet for all eternity they looked toward the other divine being, Considering how the divine being saved every life form in existence, They thanked the divine being profusely and celebrated them as the omnipotent creator, or the Divine being of light.
The people celebrated the divine being of light for months, as the divine being taught them ways to create and live. Greeting a golden age for the people of the planet. The divine being of light stayed with them for generations slowly watching them evolve into intelligent and graceful humans.
But soon after this, the divine beings had to return their consciousness to the Infinite expanse to see over all the life they had created.
This day the humans held a big festival of activities and feasts fit to make the whole planet full 10 times over. This day was called 'discessum lucis'
or 'the festival of Light', a day to be celebrated for as long as humans existed.
