Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: “A city Of Wonder” (Olivia’s Story Begins Here)

As Olivia sat in her dorm room, surrounded by boxes and suitcases, she couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with nervousness. She had finally made the move to New York City, leaving behind the familiarity of California.

Olivia's roommates, Emily and Sarah, burst into the room, chatting excitedly about their plans for the weekend.

"Hey, Liv! We're going to explore the city tomorrow," Emily said, plopping down on the bed. "Want to come with us?"

Olivia hesitated for a moment, unsure if she was ready to venture out into the city just yet. But Emily's infectious enthusiasm eventually won her over.

"Sure, I'd love to," Olivia said, smiling.

As they chatted, Olivia couldn't help but notice the way Emily and Sarah seemed to click. They had been roommates since freshman year, and their friendship was effortless.

Olivia, on the other hand, was the new kid on the block. She had transferred to NYU from the University of California, Berkeley, seeking a fresh start and a new perspective.

As they talked, Olivia learned more about Emily and Sarah's lives. Emily was a drama major, with a passion for acting and singing. Sarah, on the other hand, was a computer science major, with a love for coding and robotics.

Olivia was fascinated by their stories, and she found herself feeling drawn to her roommates. Maybe, just maybe, she had found her tribe.

But as the night wore on, Olivia couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She glanced around the room, but Emily and Sarah were too engrossed in their conversation to notice.

Olivia's eyes landed on the window, where she noticed a figure standing outside. It was a guy, tall and lean, with piercing blue eyes that seemed to bore into her soul.

Olivia felt a shiver run down her spine as their eyes met. Who was this guy, and why was he staring at her?

As the guy turned and walked away, Olivia felt a sense of relief wash over her. But she couldn't shake the feeling that their encounter was more than just a coincidence...

Meanwhile, Gavin was walking back to his dorm, lost in thought. He had been watching Olivia from afar, fascinated by her beauty and her mysterious aura.

Gavin had always been drawn to the unknown, and Olivia was the ultimate enigma. He couldn't help but wonder what secrets she hid behind those piercing brown eyes.

As he walked, Gavin's mind wandered back to their encounter in the coffee shop. He had felt a spark of electricity when their eyes met, and he couldn't shake the feeling that their connection was more than just a coincidence.

Gavin's phone buzzed, breaking his reverie. He glanced down to see a text from his friend, Jake.

"Hey, man! What's up?" Jake asked.

Gavin smiled, feeling a sense of camaraderie with his friend. "Not much, Jake. Just thinking about this girl I met."

Jake's response was immediate. "Which girl?"

Gavin chuckled, knowing that Jake was always up for a good story. "The one from the coffee shop. Olivia."

Jake's response was a series of laughing emojis. "Dude, you're in trouble."

Gavin grinned, feeling a sense of excitement mixed with trepidation. He had a feeling that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't yet imagine.
