Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: “The Plots Thickens”

As Gavin waited for his friend to arrive, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Jake and his friends had slipped into the student union building, and Gavin had no idea what they were planning.

He glanced around the campus, noticing that it was eerily quiet. The only sound was the distant hum of a generator, coming from the direction of the student union building.

Gavin's heart began to pound as he realized that Jake and his friends might be planning something big. He quickly pulled out his phone and dialed another number.

"Hey, it's Gavin. I need your help," he said, trying to keep his voice calm.

There was a pause on the other end of the line, and then a voice spoke up. "What's going on, Gavin?"

Gavin took a deep breath. "It's Jake. He's planning something, and I need your help to stop him."

The voice on the other end of the line was silent for a moment, and then it spoke up again. "I'm on my way. Meet me at the student union building."

Gavin nodded, even though he knew the person on the other end of the line couldn't see him. "I'll be there. Thanks."

As he waited for his friend to arrive, Gavin couldn't help but think about the past few days. He had met Olivia, and she had joined the environmental club. But now, it seemed like Jake was planning something to sabotage their efforts.

Gavin's eyes narrowed as he thought about Jake. He had always been a rival, but now it seemed like he was taking things too far.

Just as Gavin was starting to get anxious, he saw his friend approaching. It was Alex, a tall, lanky guy with a mop of curly brown hair.

"Hey, man," Alex said, clapping Gavin on the back. "What's going on?"

Gavin filled Alex in on the situation, telling him about Jake and his friends slipping into the student union building.

Alex's eyes widened as he listened. "That doesn't sound good," he said. "Let's go check it out."

Gavin nodded, and together they crept towards the student union building. As they approached, Gavin could hear the sound of voices coming from inside.

He exchanged a nervous glance with Alex. What were Jake and his friends planning?

As they reached the door, Gavin slowly turned the handle and pushed it open. The voices grew louder, and Gavin could see Jake and his friends huddled around a table.

But what they were planning, Gavin had no idea...

Jake looked up, his eyes locking onto Gavin's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.

Then Jake smiled, a sly, menacing smile. "Gavin," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "How nice of you to drop by."

Gavin's eyes narrowed. "What are you planning, Jake?" he demanded.

Jake shrugged, his smile growing wider. "Oh, just a little something to shake things up around here."

Gavin's heart began to pound as he realized that Jake was planning something big. Something that could potentially sabotage the environmental club's efforts.

He glanced at Alex, who was watching the scene unfold with a mixture of fascination and horror.

"What do we do?" Alex whispered.

Gavin hesitated, unsure of what to do next. But then he remembered something - the environmental club's meeting that was scheduled for later that day.

"Let's get out of here," Gavin whispered back. "We have a meeting to get to."

As they turned to leave, Jake's voice stopped them. "You're not going anywhere, Gavin," he sneered. "You're going to stay right here and watch us take action."

Gavin's eyes locked onto Jake's, a fierce determination burning within him. He was not going to let Jake sabotage their efforts. Not without a fight.
