"The world would look so beautiful in flames you know" a black hair guy stands overlooking the city below him. His hands folded at his back, eyes narrowing causing his face to fold "with it this way, it looks so dull doesn't it?" His eyes went to the guy sitting down with legs crossed and a relaxed expression on his face.
"We shouldn't take away the beauty of humans, Raven. They would surely curse at you"
"I'm already cursed" he chuckled stepping forward to stare down more on the city "flames, disaster, crimes, what more could be sweeter than that, thrane"his eyes leveled as he whispered "what more as we take down on earth and what belongs to us"
His friend sitting down sighed, relaxing more on the sofa. "Stop that raven you…"
Zayn's eyes blinked open sharply, moving around the room he took in the sight of his room and everything was still intact. That was just a nightmare, a confusing and scary nightmare. What was the meaning of that?.
Taking over the world? Raven? That was the name of a bird and he knew no one with such an evil name. Thrane? Another strange name. He rubbed his eyes, his eyes zeroing on the ceiling above him.
Nothing was falling into place right now, his father, faction, the accident, the ghost, the books and that library and now these dreams with some more his brain could not capture and mention right now with how stressed it is.
Birds chirped outside the window, it was morning at least. Nothing like yesterday should happen today, he was letting the idea of opening his father's office go. It was impossible, the wraith would make sure he didn't open it.
He stood up pulling the cover off his body, ambling his way to the toilet, he did his business and came out. Not caring about the littered and heaped books scattered around his room. He went to his wardrobe pulling out trousers and a top with a sweater which he dropped on his bed after dressing it.
Taking his bath and dressing up he sauntered to the kitchen where he saw a piece of paper that read; I know my sweet boy will be hungry when he sees this, I made food and it's in the fridge, have your fill my love. Never forget your dad loves you and sees you from up. You are not at fault. Eat up before going to school. No apples, please. I love you. Take care.
Mom
He folded the paper into his pocket, he went to the fridge where he saw the food as proposed, dug in immediately, his hunger evident. He cleaned the table and the plates then took his school bag and left the house.
He wandered around, staying cooped up in the house was not a good thing, he needed to clear his head and hiking was the best thing to do. With his hands in his sweater pockets, he walked his way away from the housing area. The mountain would be a place to rethink life and his decisions.
Trekking his way up the mountains, he breathed in the fresh air. He always wished his family could be sweet like how he has always wanted and imagined but his father never followed them to anywhere. Always complaining he had things to sort out and do.
Even as his son, he knew he was neglecting his mom. Though, when he was a kid from the little he could remember his dad had been with them sometimes but after some time or the day he came back from his supposed one week for work. He changed. Everything changed. His mom never said anything but dealt with his attitude.
He stood at the top of the mountain, his eyes looking down to the capital city, solvamore. A beautiful city that has everything a tourist would be fascinated about but never let tourists venture into their city. Had the strangest things like that library. Like the wraith. Like he knew mythical creatures were out there.
Who knew what they were hiding and why?
He sat down on his buttocks, overlooking the city, and he lay down afterwards. His eyes up to the clear blue sky, birds flying and squealing. He wondered what it would be like to one of his most loved mythical beings. Vampire. But that was absurd, being a vampire means leaving his mother which was a no go for him. His mom was practically his life.
He would only do anything or be anything to protect her, if not that or he can't venture into that path. However, he still wasn't sure although he told him they existed. The wraith being one reason they existed. He needed to give a clue. Just a clue. He wished his father never went on that work trip and everything would still be normal in his family.
