Kushina Uzumaki, reborn as the fiery Raven Kamizuki, had barely existed for a few days, yet the weight of her memories and the promise of a second chance filled her tiny form with purpose. Her new life had begun, nestled in the arms of her unsuspecting parents. Though her cries seemed ordinary to the world, her mind was sharp, alive with thoughts of survival, growth, and a cautious plan to keep her rebirth a secret.
The pale moonlight poured into her room as she lay quietly in her crib, her violet Rinnegan eyes shimmering faintly in the dark. A faint, familiar glow filled the room as Yuumi, her companion and guide, emerged gracefully from the shadows.
"You're quiet tonight," Yuumi observed, her voice gentle and tinged with amusement. The silver-furred fox perched on the edge of the crib, her nine tails swaying in the faint breeze.
"Just… thinking," Kushina replied mentally, careful to avoid moving or making a sound. "This body is so small. So fragile. I don't even feel like myself yet."
Yuumi's bright blue eyes softened. "Small doesn't mean powerless, Kushina. Every journey begins somewhere."
"And where do I start?" Kushina asked, her tone edged with impatience. "I've been through enough to know I can't afford to waste time."
"You start with the foundation," Yuumi said firmly. "Before anything else, you need to understand and harness your Nature Chakra. It's unique to you, a gift only you can wield."
Kushina blinked, her curiosity sparked. "Nature Chakra? I've heard of Sage Chakra… Is this the same?"
"Not quite," Yuumi replied. "Nature Chakra draws from the energy of the world around you—earth, air, life itself. Most humans need to undergo Sage Mode training to connect with it, but for you, it's different. Your Rinnegan is a direct link to the flow of nature itself. You don't need to master it—you are born with it."
Kushina's mental voice sharpened. "And how do I use it?"
Yuumi leapt lightly into the crib and sat before her. "First, close your eyes—mentally, of course—and focus on the sensations around you. Feel the rhythm of life in the air, the faint vibrations of the earth beneath you. Nature Chakra is everywhere; it's about learning to sense and gather it."
Kushina did as instructed, focusing inward. At first, the only sensations she could detect were the steady beating of her own heart and the faint rustle of her parents in the next room. Gradually, though, her awareness expanded. She felt the cool breeze slipping through the window, the warmth of the earth beneath the house, and even the soft hum of the moonlight bathing the room.
"There," Yuumi encouraged. "Now, draw that energy into yourself. Think of it as pulling a thread, one strand at a time, weaving it into your own chakra network."
Kushina concentrated, imagining thin streams of energy flowing toward her. At first, it was faint, a barely perceptible tug at the edge of her awareness. Then, as she persisted, the flow grew stronger, more tangible. A surge of power began to gather in her small form, mingling with her own natural chakra.
"It's… warm," Kushina murmured in her mind. "Alive."
Yuumi nodded. "Good. Now, the most important part: store it. Your body is small, your reserves limited for now. Use your Rinnegan's innate control to anchor the Nature Chakra within you, creating a reservoir for later use."
The mention of her Rinnegan drew Kushina's attention. "The eyes," she said. "The Outsider called them a gift. What else can they do?"
Yuumi's expression grew more serious. "The Rinnegan is the most powerful of the three great dojutsu. It is a tool of creation and destruction, capable of bending reality to its will. You've only glimpsed its potential in your past life, but now, you will master it."
Kushina's mind raced as Yuumi began to explain. "The Rinnegan grants you six legendary abilities, known as the Six Paths. Each is a reflection of the eyes' divine power:
The Deva Path: Control over gravity, allowing you to repel or attract anything at will.
The Asura Path: The ability to manifest mechanized limbs and weapons from your body.
The Human Path: The power to extract the souls of others, reading their minds or ending their lives.
The Animal Path: The ability to summon powerful beasts that fight by your side.
The Preta Path: Chakra absorption, rendering most ninjutsu useless against you.
The Naraka Path: Summoning the King of Hell, which can extract truth or restore the life force of others.
Beyond these lies the most dangerous of all: the Outer Path, the power to control life and death itself."
Kushina absorbed every word, her mind swirling with possibilities and the weight of responsibility. "And the Nature Chakra? Does it enhance these abilities?"
Yuumi nodded. "Exactly. Your Nature Chakra is the fuel that will elevate these powers to a level the world has never seen. But you must train carefully. These eyes will demand precision and discipline."
As the lessons settled in her mind, a creak of the door interrupted the quiet moment. Yuumi dissolved into the shadows, disappearing from view just as Aiko entered the room.
Aiko approached the crib, gazing down at Kushina with a soft smile. "Still awake, little one? You've got such a quiet soul. Maybe you'll grow up to be like your father, sitting in cafés and making riddles for a living."
From the next room, Hajime's voice called out, "I heard that!"
Aiko chuckled, brushing a gentle hand over Kushina's forehead. "You're going to be strong, my little Raven. I can feel it."
As her mother left, Kushina lay still, her tiny fists clenched with resolve. "Strong isn't enough," she thought. "I'll become unstoppable."
The moonlight reflected in her Rinnegan, the faint silver and violet hues glowing brighter with each passing moment.
Her journey has truly begun soon she would see her son again, but beyond that, Kushina had plans for this new life, like telling her former best friend Mikoto Uchiha about her true feelings for her. Kushina wondered would this make her a wife stealer. But this worry is still years away, and with these eyes, Kushina knew time meant little to her anymore.
