They decided to stay there for some more time. The ground was filled with grass and little flowers in the middle.
They were so cute that Amara wanted to pack the entire group and take it home with her but she obviously couldn't do that.
They were yellow in color. Nicolas noticed how she was looking at the flowers with heart eyes.
He pulled out one flower and made a finger ring with it almost immediately. He gave her signals through his eyes to forward her hand.
She did as asked and he made her wear a flower ring in her ring finger. Her eyes widened when she realized that it was her ring finger.
Her eyes widened and heart started beating so fast that she felt like it would come out of her chest anytime soon.
Unknown to herself, she has stopped breathing.
"Breath, Warrior," He said and only then she managed to take some oxygen in.
"Nature is beautiful right?" Nicolas asked with a smile.
Amara opened her mouth to speak but no words seem to come out of her lips. It seems as if she has forgotten how to speak.
Her throat was feeling so dry and she wanted to drink some water yet at the same time she felt like his lips would quest her thirst more than water would be able to.
"The pond is beautiful, the sky, this ground, these flowers, the trees, the clouds, the birds, the clouds, everything is beautiful, right?" He asked and she nodded her head.
"They are beautiful because they are part of nature and so are you. God thought this world needs all of them and he also through that this world needs a you as well. You are so unique that he only made one piece of you, you are a piece of art, a part of the nature. You are rare. Hence, never even doubt yourself. You are a queen, live like a queen."
Her eyes filled up with tears at his beautiful praises. All she could manage to return him was a smile, a smile that directly came from her heart.
They were so into enjoying the nature that they didn't realize it was past lunch time. Amara's stomach growled and her cheeks turned pinkish.
She was someone who needs to eat every few hours otherwise she would definitely collapse. That was one of her weakness.
"We should leave now," Nicolas said while getting up. Amara pouted, she wanted to stay here for longer but she knew that it might only cause him more problems.
She didn't want to be a burden and make him carry her.
Hence, against her hearts wish, she got up.
"We are directly going to the pack now?" Amara asked, her eyes were on the ground.
Making sure that she doesn't fall.
"Not really, we have a more important place to visit before that," Nicolas said with a soft smile.
He noticed how Amara was taking each step with extra cautiousness.
He forwarded his hand to her. She looked kind of surprised but she quickly holds his hand.
The fear of falling and embarrassing herself was bigger than the embarrassment of holding his hands like a child.
They didn't talk for a while. Walking was really peaceful with him. They didn't bother engaging in forceful conversations. It was natural and beautiful.
"So where are we going?"
"We need to eat and did you forget that you need new clothes?"
"Oh right, I almost forgot about that."
"It's ok. What type of clothes do you prefer?" Nicolas pulled out his phone to write down the details.
"Well, I prefer comfort over everything else hence something lightweight is the perfect choice for me. I also like one colored clothes and even if they have different colors, I want it to be simple. It's not like I don't wear gorgeous dresses or something, I do but for everyday use, I think simple clothes are the best." Nicolas nodded his head and took notes.
They didn't speak anything for quite some more time.
"Um, I know that you really want to buy me clothes but I am feeling a little tired. Can we go back for now? I want to rest actually," She said with an awkward smile.
Deep inside, she didn't want him to spend money on her. It was making her feel guilty somehow.
"We can go shopping tomorrow then. For now, you can wear my clothes."
"Thank you. And another thing," she paused.
"Yes?"
"Happy birthday."
Amara wanted to wish him as soon as she heard Athena but she was feeling embarrassed. She didn't have a gift for him.
But after debating with herself for quite a while, she decided that enough was enough and she should simply wish him.
She could get him a gift later.
"Thank you so much," Nicolas gave her a sweet smile and that made her more embarrassed.
"I am sorry that I don't have a gift for you."
"Hey, your existence is more than enough."
"No but still, I want to give you something. As a gift, I am giving you a wish. You can ask for whatever you want."
"Whatever I want?" Nicolas 's teasing look made her rethink her decision but she wasn't going to step down.
"Yes, whatever you want."
"Ok then, I am saving this wish. I would use it later."
Amara simply nodded her head. She was feeling a little better now.
"What if he asks for a diamond ring? I don't have the money," she thought.
"He knows that you are dirt poor. He won't ask for something that expensive."
Throughout the whole road, she was mentally debating with herself.
"We will see what happens later, for now I should enjoy the moment," she finally ended her inner battle.
And they finally reached the pack house. Her hunger was long forgotten now.
"Ah that curse! Why can't I delay eating without having to lose my appetite?!" She mentally groaned.
"We are home," he said.
